Abstract

The shutter i.e. oval shaped plate (1), is made of polyethylene to permit the plate to be mechanical resistant, where the plate is fixed on a wall i.e. sheet (2) by using a thermo-fusible agent. The plate is made of mono material and realized from low-density polyethylene based compound and a gluing agent such as ethylene vinyl acetate. The polyethylene is reticulated so as to be flexible for gluing the plate on the wall and rigid for resisting to deformations due to warping and relaxation. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for forming a shutter (2) a method for closing an opening in a wall of a body using a shutter.

Description

L'invention concerne un obturateur thermo-fusible, destiné à obturer de façon étanche un orifice dans une paroi telle qu'une tôle d'une caisse de véhicule automobile, en forme d'une plaque comportant du polyéthylène rendant la plaque mécaniquement résistante et fixé sur la tôle par collage à l'aide d'un agent thermo-fusible. L'invention concerne également un procédé de réalisation d'un tel obturateur et un procédé d'application de l'obturateur à une paroi. Des obturateurs qui sont actuellement connus sont composés d'une partie en polyéthylène formant l'armature de la plaque et d'une résine thermo-fusible commercialisée sous la dénomination Evatan. Ces obturateurs sont réalisés selon trois techniques de fabrication différentes, soit par injection de polyéthylène dans un moule pour la réalisation de l'armature et sur-moulage d'un cordon d'Evatan le long de la périphérie de la plaque, soit en réalisant séparément par injection l'armature et le cordon et assemblage des deux pièces, soit par réalisation de l'armature par injection et dépôt d'un cordon de colle Evatan tout autour de la plaque. Les obturateurs connus présentent l'inconvénient 25 majeur d'être réalisés selon des procédés complexes et coûteux. L'invention a pour but de pallier cet inconvénient.
