Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a heating panel as well as an electric heating device and a wood heating device comprising at least one such heating panel. This invention relates to the field of manufacture of heating devices, more particularly those comprising at least one heating panel which is at least partly constituted by a heating element, the latter being able to be completed by a decorative element, more particularly constituted by minus a tile, and associated with such a heating element. Already known such heaters that can be electrical type and be, in such a case, consist of a heating panel comprising, on the one hand, a decorative element as mentioned above and, d on the other hand, a heating element inside which is embedded an electrical resistance designed to heat this heating element and the entire heating panel. Also known wood heating devices is, in particular, in the form of a tiled stove having a plurality of assembled heating panels. Such a heating panel comprises, again, a decorative element and a heating element associated with this decorative element. Whatever the heating device considered, it comprises a heating element usually made of a material containing a refractory concrete and means for stiffening the heating element and incorporated in the refractory concrete. These stiffening means are, in general, constituted by metal son and by glass wool tow. Such a heating element has many disadvantages. In particular, such a heating element lacks rigidity which penalizes the rigidity of the heating panel, or even that of the entire heating device.
The presence of refractory concrete in this heating element also causes poor heat transfer through the body of the heating element, an improper accumulation of heat within the body and rapid cooling of the element. heating, so the heater. Another disadvantage comes from the expansion differential between, on the one hand, the faience of the decorative element and, on the other hand, the refractory concrete of the heating element. This expansion differential causes cracks and breaks in the decorative element, more particularly between and / or in the earthenware tiles. Finally, the method of manufacturing such a heating panel is particularly difficult to implement, particularly because of the need to comply with a precise dosage of the components used in the composition of the heating element material. The present invention is intended to overcome the disadvantages of heating panels of the state of the art.
For this purpose, the invention relates to a heating panel for the production of a heating device and comprising a heating element at least partly constituted by a refractory concrete and by means for stiffening the heating element and incorporated in the refractory concrete. . This heating panel is characterized in that the stiffening means of the heating element consist of ground ceramic pieces. According to an additional characteristic, the crushed ceramic pieces have dimensions of between 0.1 and 15 mm. Another feature is that the pieces of ground ceramic consist of pieces of earthenware tiles, such as scraps or chunks of earthenware tiles, pieces of chipped or defective earthenware tiles. .
Yet another additional feature is that the heating panel comprises a decorative element, on the one hand, consisting of at least one earthenware tile and, on the other hand, which is secured to the heating element, in particular by gluing. In fact, the crushed ceramic pieces have a similar composition or, preferably, identical to that of the tile or tiles of the decorative element. The invention also relates to a wood heating device, more particularly to a tiled stove, comprising at least one heating panel having the aforementioned characteristics. This invention is also relative to an electric heating device comprising at least one heating panel having, again, the aforementioned characteristics. Finally, the invention relates to a method for the manufacture of such a heating panel. The presence of ceramic pieces in the heating element provides many advantages to the heating panel 20 according to the present invention. According to a first advantage, the heat is transmitted more rapidly through the heating element. Another advantage is that the amount of heat accumulated in the heating element is greater, which advantageously makes it possible to restore this heat over a longer period after interruption of the heating. According to an additional advantage, the presence of the ceramic increases the thermal inertia of the heating element which provides a more comfortable heating. Yet another advantage is that the radiant heating is softer which allows larger volumes to be heated horizontally. Finally, the presence of this ceramic imparts sufficient rigidity to the heating element which avoids the use of additional stiffening means (such as reinforcements). The absence of such additional stiffening means significantly facilitates the implementation of the method of manufacturing the heating panel according to the invention because it is sufficient to mix the ground ceramic with refractory cement and add water.
Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description relating to embodiments which are given by way of indicative and non-limiting examples. The understanding of this description will be facilitated with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: - Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view of a heating panel according to a first embodiment and having a heating element; - Figure 2 is a schematic perspective view of a heating panel according to a second embodiment and comprising a heating element and a decorative element; - Figure 3 is a schematic perspective view of a heating panel according to a third embodiment and comprising a heating element and a decorative element. The present invention is in the field of the manufacture of heating devices 1, more particularly those comprising at least one heating panel 2 designed to provide heating of a room by radiation. In particular, the invention relates to the field of manufacture of electric type heating devices 1 which comprise at least one heating panel 2 provided with a means of electrical type (more particularly in the form of an electrical resistance or the like) designed This invention also relates to the field of manufacture of heating devices 1 using a fuel consisting of wood or wood-based, including a tiled stove. A heating device 1 of this type then comprises a plurality of heating panels 2 which are assembled for the production of at least part of the outer casing of such a device 1. It should, however, be observed The present invention relates, first of all, to a heating panel 2 for the production of such a heating device 1. In a manner known per se, such a heating panel 2 comprises at least one heating element 20 which is at least partly constituted by a refractory concrete 200 as well as by means 201 for stiffening the heating element 20 and 10 incorporated in the refractory concrete 200. As regards said refractory concrete 200, the latter contains at least molten cement or, and preferably, consists of a mixture containing at least one such molten cement and sand. According to the invention, the means 201 for stiffening the heating element 20 consist of pieces of ground ceramic. An additional feature is that the crushed ceramic pieces have dimensions of between 0.1 and 15 mm. In this regard, it should be observed that, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, these crushed ceramic pieces consist of pieces of earthenware tiles, more particularly by: - falls or pieces of falls tiles of earthenware; - pieces of chipped earthenware tiles; - pieces of faience tiles with a defect of appearance. The use of such tile pieces advantageously makes it possible to recycle and recycle products which are usually discarded and thus to reduce the amount of waste generated during the manufacture of the heating devices 1 According to a first embodiment of the present invention, the heating panel 2 according to the invention comprises a heating element 20 having the above-mentioned characteristics. Such a heating panel 2 will find a particularly suitable application in the context of the realization of a heating device 1 using a fuel consisting of wood or wood-based, including a tiled stove. Such a heating device 1 may, in fact, comprise an assembly of a plurality of these heating panels 2, such an assembly constituting, at least in part, the outer casing of this device 1. The present invention relates, then, also, a heater 1 wood (more particularly a tiled stove) having at least one heating panel 2 having, again, the characteristics described above.
Another particularly suitable application relates to the production of a heating device 1 of electric type. In such a case, the heating panel 2 having the characteristics of this first embodiment (more particularly the heating element 20 that includes this heating panel 2) comprises, again, at least one means of the electric type for heating this element. In fact, such an electric means for heating the heating element 20 is constituted by a heating electric resistor or the like at least partly embedded in the heating element 20 or attached thereto 20, more particularly to the heating element 20. The present invention thus also relates to a heating device 1 of the electric type comprising at least one heating panel 2 having the characteristics described above. According to a second embodiment of the invention, the heating panel 2 according to the invention comprises a heating element 20 (having the above-mentioned characteristics) and a decorative element 21 constituting, usually, the visible part of this heating panel. 2.
As can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, it is, more particularly, of such a decorative element 21 that the heating element 20 is secured. In this connection, it will be observed that such a securing is ensured by intermediate of the refractory concrete used in the composition of this heating element 20 and which, by drying and / or hardening, fixes (in particular by gluing) this heating element 20 to the decorative element 21. Another characteristic of this element of decoration 21 consists in that it is preferably constituted by at least one earthenware tile (210; 211). As can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3 corresponding to a preferred embodiment of the invention, this decorative element 21 comprises a plurality of earthenware tiles (210; 211) juxtaposed and, preferably, joined via In this regard, and according to an additional feature of the invention, the crushed ceramic pieces of the heating element 20 have a similar composition or, preferably, identical to that of the earthenware tile or tiles. In fact and as mentioned above, these crushed ceramic pieces are preferably comprised of pieces of earthenware tile as mentioned above, more particularly those which were originally intended for enter into the composition of a decorative element 21 but have been discarded due to a defect, chipping, breakage or otherwise. Again, a heating panel 2 having these features (and in accordance with this second embodiment) will find a particularly suitable application in the context of the realization of a heater 1 to wood that may include a plurality of assembly The present invention also relates to a wood heating device 1 (more particularly a tiled stove) comprising at least one heating panel 2 having the characteristics described above (and in accordance with this invention). second embodiment). Another particularly suitable application relates, moreover, to the realization of a heater 1 of the electric type. In such a case, the heating element 20 of such a heating panel 2 (and in accordance with this second embodiment) comprises, again, at least one means of electrical type (more particularly in the form of an electrical resistance such as described above) for the heating of this heating element 20. Finally, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a heating panel 2 having the characteristics corresponding to the first or second embodiment described above.
This manufacturing process consists, then: - in grinding ceramic to obtain pieces of ceramic; - To mix these pieces of ceramic to a refractory cement (melted + sand) to obtain a mixture; adding to this mixture a hydraulic binder, especially water, for obtaining a paste; pouring this paste into a mold and allowing this paste to harden. An additional feature of this method is that, when grinding ceramic, crushed tile falls, chipped tiles or tiles with a defect of appearance. In fact, when grinding ceramic, this ceramic is crushed to obtain crushed pieces of ceramic having dimensions of between 0.1 and 15 mm.
It will be observed that good results are obtained when grinding the ceramic with a jaw crusher. As mentioned above, the heating panel 2 according to the second embodiment comprises at least one decorative element 21 constituted by at least one earthenware tile (210; 211). In such a case, when a heating panel 2 is manufactured in accordance with the process of the invention, the above-mentioned dough is cast into a mold having a bottom and side walls. Such a mold may then be constituted, at least in part, by at least one earthenware tile 210. In this regard, it will be observed that, according to a particular embodiment, at least the bottom of such a mold can be constituted by at least one such tile. However, according to an embodiment illustrated in FIG. 3, at least one side wall as well as at least part of the bottom of such a mold may consist of at least one earthenware tile 210.
