Abstract

The backrest (10) has a leg (50) projecting from a side face (14) of a seat in a manner to retain a seat belt strap (22) adjacent to the side face of the seat when the seat is slid between a vertical usage position and a folded position. The leg is moved with respect to the seat between a retracted position and a projection position following a direction perpendicular to the side face of the seat. The leg is slidingly mounted in a housing fixed to a rear structure of the backrest. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a seat with a seat belt strap extending close to a lateral liner of a passenger compartment of the vehicle.

Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne un tel dossier qui est rabattable par basculement autour d'un axe disposé à sa partie inférieure. Traditionnellement, un siège arrière de type banquette face à la route comporte un dossier tel que ci- dessus qui est verrouillé dans une position sensiblement verticale d'utilisation et qui peut être basculé vers l'avant pour atteindre une position rabattue sensiblement horizontale. A la figure 1, le dossier 10 est représenté basculé à proximité de sa position d'utilisation, en ayant au moins une face latérale 14 contre un garnissage latéral 20 de l'habitacle du véhicule. Une sangle 22 de ceinture latérale de sécurité s'étend entre un renvoi supérieur formé par une fente 23 ménagée dans le garnissage 20 au dessus du dossier et un point d'ancrage inférieur situé à l'avant d'une partie inférieure du dossier. La sangle peut passer derrière le dossier 10 quand ce dernier est basculé. Dans ce cas, à la remise en place du dossier 10 dans sa position verticale d'utilisation, la sangle 22 peut se trouver coincée entre le dos du dossier 10, le garnissage 20 et un fil de gâche 24 qui est solidaire de la caisse du véhicule et qui sert au verrouillage du dossier à sa position d'utilisation. La sangle est alors indisponible pour un passager et empêche le verrouillage du dossier. Il faut donc veiller à ce que la sangle 22 ne soit pas glissée derrière le dossier 10 lors de sa remise en place dans sa position verticale d'utilisation. Il est connu du document FR2727916 de placer les points d'ancrage supérieurs de ceinture derrière le dossier et au dessus de ce dernier de façon que, quand il est basculé entre sa position verticale d'utilisation et sa position horizontale de rabattement, il entraîne un déroulement de la ceinture alors qu'elle est en appui sur la face avant et sur la face supérieure du dossier. Dans ce cas, un premier inconvénient est que la ceinture s'étend en diagonale dans l'aire de chargement située au dessus du dossier rabattu, en barrant l'accès latéral à cette aire. Un deuxième inconvénient est que la ceinture latérale peut quand même glisser sur le côté du dossier et peut alors, comme précédemment, gêner la remise du dossier dans sa position verticale d'utilisation.
