Abstract

The wall has a hard carcass that is realized by clay bricks, and an exterior trim that is constituted by a beveled wood siding. A natural insulation e.g. compact wool, is intercalated between the hard carcass and the exterior trim. Cleats are vertically fixed on an external face of the wall. The natural insulation is respond to RT2000 constructionstandard. Compact wool panels have thickness that is same as thickness of the cleats. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a wall.

Description

Description The invention presented here relates to the general field of the construction of walls: it particularly relates to a mounting process associating Bio'Bric, compact wool and cladding Clin wood. The compact wool is used as an additional insulation between a solid wall frame (Bio'Bric) and a wooden exterior cladding (Clin cladding).

Current state of the art: At present, in the context of the construction of a wall whose cladding is wood, it is customary to use a frame, also in wood. As regards the installation of hard walls, standard bricks bonded together by glue, mortar or cement are used. We also use blocks linked together by mortar. On the inside, an insulation composed of plasterboard combined with polystyrene, rockwool or glass wool is added. As for the outer side of the walls, it is covered with either a scraped plaster or a projected plaster. These walls blocks or brick standars are not completely ecological and are not optimum in terms of thermal insulation and therefore in terms of energy saving. They can be contrary to the high environmental quality of a building. The high environmental quality of a building consists, at the same time, to have a control of the impacts of the building on the external environment and to create a healthy and comfortable interior environment.25 Corrections brought by the technique of Mr Lourenço To remedy this we have developed a new type of wall that is distinguished by the elements that make it up and by its mounting process. The invention consists in associating three elements: the Bio'Bric (as well as the special glue supplied by the manufacturer), the compact wool and the cladding Clin bois; which, taken separately, constitute as many components having a low or very low impact on the environment and offering a high level of performance in terms of saving energy, while participating in creating a healthy and comfortable indoor environment. 1) The elements that make up the wall The raw material of Bio 'Bric is clay: it is therefore terracotta bricks. In its manufacture, there is no solvent and even less binder. It contains no organic substance (in particular fungicides and volatile insects), no pollutant (no mineral fiber or vegetable fiber), no volatile or similar organic compounds (benzene, toluene, fo-formaldehyde ...) likely to harm, more or less seriously, to health. Because it contains no organic compound or assimilated, it does not release any gaseous compound. The Bio'Bric wall, during its life cycle, consumes little energy. It offers a dual thermal competence: in winter, it keeps the heat (for an energy gain of about 10%), and in summer, it avoids the need for air conditioning. It is therefore energy efficient while controlling its impact on the environment. The Bio'Bric wall has received a favorable evaluation from the Environment and Health Committee of the Technical Opinion (CESAT). Compact wool is a natural insulator made from volcanic rock or hemp. While respecting the environment, it offers thermal insulation. The compact wool protects against cold and heat. By trapping the air, it limits the minimum heat exchange between the outside and the inside. The compact wool is certified by the Association of Certification of Insulating Materials (ACERMI) and also meets the RT2000 construction standard. Compact wool therefore saves energy (by around 10%) and also limits greenhouse gas emissions.

The use of wood preserves the environment, it is a natural and renewable material. It is known, in the field of construction, as an excellent thermal insulation that retains both heat and freshness and thus helps to limit, too, the energy consumption. Clin claddings, which are also used in the invention, are treated so as to enhance the natural qualities of wood, qualities described above. 2) The method of mounting the wall, the present invention consists, on the one hand, to dress wood a hard frame, while traditionally, the wooden cladding is used on a frame itself of wood; and on the other hand, it also consists of placing compact wool between the framework and the wood cladding (in other words on the outer face of the wall) and not on the inner face of the framework as it is use to proceed regarding insulators. On the basis of a Bio'Bric block, which is mounted together using the glue supplied by the manufacturer, vertically cleats of the same height as the wall are glued on the outside of this last. To reinforce the fixing of the Bio'Bric wall assembly / cleats, the cleats are screwed with four stainless steel screws, evenly spaced along the entire length. Between the cleats (that is to say in each space of 60cm), one plates, against the outside of the wall Bio'Bric, panels of compact wool of 60cm. These compact wool panels are the same thickness as the cleats. It is then a question of fixing the blades of Clin in front of the cleats. Firstly the blades are fitted horizontally, one on top of the other, the chamfer arranged upwards. Then, they are fixed on the cleats, by stainless steel nails adapted to the thickness of the blades. The seal is logically obtained thanks to the chamfer provided for this purpose on each blade. The invention will be further illustrated without being in any way limited by the foregoing description, in relation to the explanatory diagram in the appendix.

15 205 This diagram illustrates the process of assembling a Bio'Bric wall associated with compact wool, with the clapboard of wood fixed on the same wall by cleats. We see a Bio'Bric wall diagram assembled in a classic way. Bio'Bric 5 bricks are bonded together by a special adhesive supplied by the manufacturer. We add. on the outer face of the wall, the cleats glued and screwed, knowing that it is left a space of 60cm between each cleat. The compact wool panels are placed against the wall. They fill the vacant space between the cleats. IO The wood claw blades nested on each other (chamfering upwards) and nailed to the cleats by stainless steel nails complete the whole. 15,205
