The present invention relates to a tumbling track element. The tumbling tracks are intended for acrobatic gymnastics and must comply with international federal standards. The tumbling tracks are linear and consist of a ten meter run for the gymnast, twenty five meters on two meters wide of dynamic track where the gymnast moves and a very flexible reception area of six meters. long and three meters wide at the end of the dynamic track. These dynamic tracks generally consist of several identical elements comprising a frame provided with longitudinal members supporting dynamic profiles such as fiberglass tubes, the latter being positioned perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the track, the assembly being covered by a carpet linear of the length of the track. The installation of such a tumbling track is long, tedious and expensive, particularly in terms of dynamic profiles, their installation is complex during assembly and they can not be changed by completely dismantling the chassis, so they are most of the time factory mounted with the chassis, which makes transportation to the customer much more expensive. Moreover these tumbling tracks all have a defined flexibility that does not allow to adapt to the weight of the sportsman evolving on it. The object of the invention is to remove all these disadvantages.
The present invention is an element for tumbling track intended for acrobatic sports practice, consisting of a chassis equipped with longitudinal members supporting the ends of dynamic sections such as fiberglass tubes, characterized in that the chassis side members comprise means for holding the ends of the dynamic profiles to install or remove any of these when the chassis is mounted. These means for maintaining the dynamic sections are notches open on the top and able to maintain the dynamic sections relative to the longitudinal direction of the track. Another feature is that the frame has lateral stops being able to laterally contain the dynamic sections relative to the frame and that said lateral stops are of a height capable of laterally containing a linear belt. It is then characterized in that the chassis comprises at least one pressure means pressing at least on the top of the dynamic sections and is made by a linear sheathed elastic passing through the fastening means, the latter being lower than the upper part of the elastic profiles.
-2 In a preferred embodiment the notches and the lateral stops are made in at least two parts. -2
The result obtained with this invention is an element for tumbling track for a very fast assembly and disassembly of dynamic sections, thus allowing to quickly change one or more without having to completely disassemble the frame. It is thus possible to remove dynamic profiles in a regular step in order to soften the tumbling track for athletes of lower weight. The following description is given by way of indicative and nonlimiting example with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a complete tumbling track. Figure 2 shows in perspective a portion of the chassis of the dynamic track without the linear carpet. In Figure 1 we see the runway (1) where the acrobats rush, the dynamic track (2) where the athlete performs his acrobatics and reception area (3) flexible and cushioning, ensuring the reception of sportsman for his last acrobatic figure at the end of the track. Figure 2 shows in perspective a portion of the frame without the linear mat from above. We see a part of the base (4) and the spar (5) forming the frame. The spar (5) is made of wood in three glued parts, the support part (6), the lateral stop (7), the part (9) having the notches (10) open on the top adapted to receive over the profiles dynamic (11). The lateral stop (7) contains the dynamic profiles (11) inside the frame, and it is also noted that it has a height sufficient to also contain the linear belt. The part (9) also comprises the attachment means (13) of the pressure means (12). This elastic pressure means (12) is made in this embodiment by a linear sheathed elastic passing through the fastening means (13). Since the latter are lower than the upper part of the elastic profiles (11), this allows the pressure means (12) to apply pressure to the top of each dynamic section (11). The fastening means (13) may be single screws or notches machined in the part (9). In this embodiment the entire frame is made of wood but can be made of any other rigid and resistant material.
