The present invention relates to a device for adjusting the height and the tension of attachment of shading sails.
According to the state of the art, the taut shading sail supported by masts is one of the known ways to shelter from the sun and rain. The document WO 2007/051921 describes a mast for fastening and tensioning shades or sails for sheltering from the sun and rain.
This mast consists of two upper and lower sections, rigid and assembled together telescopically. The upper tubular member is housed with slidability in the lower tubular member, the base of which allows the mast to be placed on the ground. The upper section is provided with means for attaching or winding a cable for fixing and tensioning the fabric, connected to an edge of the latter. The height at which this means of attachment or winding of the fastening and tensioning cable of the fabric defines the height of the edge of the fabric to which is fixed said cable. The lower tubular element of the lower section is equipped with a winch for tensioning or loosening the cable connected to the fabric and passing through the hooking means or winding of said cable. The device described in WO 2007/051921 has the disadvantage of allowing height adjustment of the fabric limited between a low level where the upper tubular element of the lower section is slid in the lower position in the lower tubular element and a high level where the upper tubular element is slid in the upper position in the lower tubular element. It is therefore not possible, for example, to adjust the height of the fabric to a level below the upper end of the lower section. The invention proposes to overcome the above-mentioned disadvantage with a device which makes it possible, on the one hand, to adjust the height of a shading sail with a greater amplitude, and, on the other hand, to tension adjustment of said sail.
25 According to the invention, the device for adjusting the height and the tension of fixing shading sails comprises a mast provided with two retaining and guiding members disposed at a distance from one another along said mast. and connected by a flexible or flexible link formed in a closed loop and mounted with a movability through said retaining means, one of the strands of this loop being attached or arranged to be attached to one of the ends of a cable or tensioning rope, said device further comprising a connecting means allowing it to be hooked onto the edge of a shade cloth and on which said tensioning cable can be slid or wound, said mast being equipped with locking means allowing, on the one hand, the hooking of the other strand of the loop to immobilize it in the desired position, and, secondly, to fix and block the other end of the tension cable to maintain the sail shade at the desired voltage. The device according to the invention makes it possible to ensure, on the one hand, the height adjustment of a shading sail connected to said device over a distance delimited by the base and the top of the mast of said device, on the other hand the tension adjustment of said sail. When it rains, the device according to the invention facilitates the evacuation of rainwater, avoiding the formation of water pockets. It also makes it possible to adjust the slope of the shading sail and / or to adapt the geometric shape thereof. Another advantage of the device according to the invention is that it allows to follow, in an optimum way, the race of the sun. The foregoing and other objects, features and advantages will become more apparent from the following description and accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a general perspective view of a first embodiment of execution of the device for adjusting the height and the tension for fixing the shading sails according to the invention, represented in the rest position. - Figure 2a is a general view of the device according to the invention in a high position of adjusting the sail height. - Figure 2b is a detailed view of the device according to the invention showing an embodiment of a mooring cleat equipping the mast. - Figure 3 is a general view of the device according to the invention in a low position of adjusting the sail height. - Figure 4 is a general view of a second embodiment of the device according to the invention, shown in the upper position of adjusting the sail height. Reference is made to the said drawings to describe interesting examples, although in no way limiting, of embodiment of the device according to the invention. The term "shade sail", which is used in this specification and in the claims, refers to a sail for protection from the sun or rain. The device according to the invention comprises a mast 1 which may consist of a single piece or two parts 1b, 1c assembled telescopically. This mast 1 may be entirely rigid or comprise a flexible upper part of the type described in document WO-2007/051921. On this mast, are fixed two retaining and guiding members 2 and 3 disposed at a distance from one another, along said mast. The upper retaining and guiding member 2 is preferably located near the upper end 1d of the mast 1, while the lower retaining and guiding member 3 is preferably located in the lower part. said mast, for example at any level of the lower half height of the latter, including near the base of the foot 1a thereof. The retaining and guiding members 2 and 3 may be constituted by simple rings or by pulleys. The retaining and guiding members 2 and 3 are connected by a flexible or flexible link 4 formed in a closed loop and mounted with a circulation ability through them. This flexible link can be constituted by a rope, a rope, a cable formed of braided son, of any material (textile, plastic, metal). It is understood that when the retaining and guiding means 2 and 3 are constituted by rings, it is possible to circulate the loop in one direction or the other by sliding it inside said rings, whereas when said members are constituted by pulleys, the loop can be moved by winding on said pulleys. The retaining and guiding members 2 and 3 through which the loop 4 may circulate define two strands 4a, 4b which move in opposite directions during adjustments of the position of said loop. Advantageously, in the rest position, the strands of the loop are loose, the loop having a length much greater than that which would be essential for connecting the retaining members and guide. One of these strands (strand 4a in the accompanying drawings) is fixedly attached or arranged to be fixedly attached to one end of a cable or tension cord 5 which may be of the same material or not to that of the flexible link 4. This tensioning cord 5 can be fixed permanently on the strand 4a of the link 4, by any means known per se. It can also be removably attached to the strand 4a, by means of a connecting device known per se, for example by means of a carabiner 6, the end of the tensioning cord and said strand being arranged in a complementary manner to allow this removable attachment. It is conceivable that the fixing point of the tensioning cord 5 on the strand 4a 3o of the loop 4 (for example materialized by the location of the carabiner 6) can be moved along the mast 1, by circulating said loop in the guiding members 2 and 3. The device according to the invention also comprises a connecting means allowing its attachment on the edge, for example in an angle or corner, of a shading sail 7. This connecting means can be constituted by a carabiner 8 allowing its attachment in an eyelet 7a which is provided with the edge of the shade sail 7, this carabiner being connected to a pulley or other deflection member 9 on which is wound or can be wound tensioning cord 5. lo On the other hand, the mast 1 is provided with at least one locking means, arranged between the retaining and guiding members 2 and 3, and allowing, on the one hand, the hooking of the free end portion 5a of the tensioning cord 5 and, on the other hand, hooking of the other strand (strand 4b according to the accompanying drawings) of the flexible link 4 of height adjustment. These locking means may be constituted by a docking lug 10, known per se, and on which said strand 4b and said bead 5 may be fixed, by means of windings or attachment knots (4c and 5b, respectively, according to Figure 2b) commonly used in mooring techniques. According to a first embodiment, the retaining and guiding members 2 and 3 are constituted by rings. According to another embodiment, the retaining and guiding members 2 and 3 consist of pulleys. According to one embodiment, an additional pulley 11 on which the tensioning cord 5 can be wound or wound up can be added to the connecting means, for example constituted by the carabiner 6, by connecting it to said carabiner 6 (Figure 4). The device according to the invention is used in the following manner. Adjusting the height of the shading sail in the high position is effected by sliding the strand 4b, through the retaining and guiding members 2 and 3, towards the lower end of the mast. Following this adjustment of said sail in the high position, a portion of the strand 4b is wound (winding 4c in Figure 2b) several times on the stopper 10 to ensure the maintenance of the sail to the desired height. Once the adjustment of the height of the sail is achieved, the tension adjustment is made by exerting traction on the free end 5a of the tensioning cord 5. The tensioning is maintained by winding several times and / or by knotting the free end 5a of the cord 5 (winding represented by the reference 5b in FIG. 2b) on the mooring cleat 10. The adjustment in the low position of the height of the shading sail is made by sliding the strand 4b, through the retaining and guiding members 2 and 3 towards the upper end of the mast. Following this adjustment of said sail in the low position, part of the strand 4b, represented by the mark 4c in FIG. 2b, is wound one or several times on the catch 10 in order to maintain the sail at the desired height. . The tension adjustment is made by exerting a pull on the free end 5a of the tension cord 5. The tensioning is maintained by winding several times and / or by tying the free end 5a of the cord 5, represented by the reference 5b in FIG. 2b, on the mooring cleat 10. According to another advantageous characteristic of the invention, solar sensors are placed on said shading sail whose adjustable inclination makes it possible to collect the solar energy in a manner optimum. 25
