Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an insulating panel in a complex of materials, which finds a direct application in the building. We know that in building and construction, insulation in general, that is to say thermal insulation but also sound insulation, has always been a subject of research and more and more, the element insulation becomes preponderant in the construction. The first function is of course the actual thermal insulation of the building, namely the limitation of losses through the walls equipped with this insulating element.
In general, the insulation is made in the interior part of a wall which, in turn, assures or participates in the recovery of the efforts to which the construction is subjected, ensures or participates in the weather resistance and generally receives an exterior facing, painting , plaster, stucco, glued stone etc. There are insulating products that are generally positioned in double partitions such as glass wool, rock, natural fibers. These products have a first disadvantage which is that of settlement over time when they are laid vertically and therefore of a loss of insulation characteristics in the area of the bald areas both thermal and phonic. Generally these insulating products are reserved for laying flat, ceiling. In addition, for vertical installation, such products necessarily require the realization of a double wall.
Also, other existing products are much easier to install and offer good insulation properties. This is for example plates comprising an insulator such as expanded polystyrene beads, agglomerated to a thickness of several centimeters, this insulator being attached to a plasterboard, itself placed between two sheets of cellulosic cardboard material. The following succession is thus obtained: a first sheet of cellulosic cardboard material which ensures in particular the facing function and which can receive any type of coating, as well as the cohesive function of the plasterboard, a plasterboard of the centimeter of thickness which ensures in particular the flatness, the mechanical resistance to compression, which is adhered to the first sheet, - a second sheet of cellulosic cardboard material which ensures in particular the cohesion of the plaster and which receives the insulating material, and a plate of insulating material adhered to said second sheet by its first face and which is intended to be glued to a reception support such as a wall by its second face. Such a product seems extremely attractive at first sight because it provides two functions, that of insulation and that of interior facing, requiring only one pose. In addition, the mechanical characteristics and thermal and acoustic insulation allow to meet the standards and regulations in force. On the other hand, this product has a number of important disadvantages, in particular that of being a heavy product, which is expensive in transport, and which generates handling constraints both for transport and for handling during implementation on site. It has even been developed tooling devices to provide staff assistance in the installation of this type of product, especially on the ceiling, more or less practical elsewhere.
Plaster is also very energy intensive both for the transport of raw material and for the transformation of gypsum into plaster by high temperature cooking, which gives it a poor carbon balance. This product also uses petroleum products for the manufacture of polystyrene, so a non-renewable raw material. In addition, the problem of recycling these products is a real problem because these products incorporate three materials at least very different: - an organic material from non-recyclable oil and whose incineration poses problems of release of toxic gases requiring for at least heavy treatment facilities, - perfectly recyclable cellulose but closely related to the plaster and therefore very difficult to dissociate, and - plaster which, even if it is not toxic as such, is very difficult recyclable. The object of the present invention is to propose an insulating panel made from a complex of materials which makes it possible more particularly: to use agro-materials derived from renewable products; to ensure the known insulation function but in a controlled manner, especially on the height and / or the thickness, - to perform many other functions such as stress-relieving, the resistance to humidity of certain zones, the reinforced mechanical strength of certain other zones, the electromagnetic shielding of the surface; - to facilitate jointing operations between two juxtaposed panels; - to facilitate handling by a reduced weight; - to receive all types of interior cladding; - to provide better fire resistance for the support receiving this panel.
The panel according to the present invention is now described according to a preferred embodiment, accompanied by variants, with regard to the different drawings in which the different figures represent: FIG. 1: a view of an insulating panel according to the invention, obtained from elementary modules, - figure 2: a view of an insulating panel, according to the present invention, with zones differentiated in height, - figure 3: a view of an insulating panel, according to the present invention, with zone of FIG. 4: a view of an insulating panel, according to the present invention, with a zone of resistance to humidity, FIG. 5: a view of an insulating panel, according to the present invention, with differentiated layers in thickness. FIG. 6: a view of an insulating panel, according to the present invention, with electromagnetic shielding, FIG. 7: a view of an insulating panel according to the present invention, with surface facing, FIG. Side connection cement insulating panels according to the present invention, and - Figure 9: a view of an insulating panel according to an improved embodiment incorporating hexagonal section modules. In Figure 1, there is shown an insulating panel 10 according to the invention. The following description is made in agreement with panels intended to be arranged on walls, but such panels are also applicable to inclined faces, or even ceiling. The panel according to the invention is obtained by cutting a block 12 composed of unit modules 14, for example of square section, assembled along their longitudinal axis XX 'to form a parallelepiped block 12. This assembly is advantageously carried out by gluing. This parallelepipedal block 12 has dimensions such that the width is equal to the defined width of a panel to be produced, for example 1.20 meters wide and the length is equal to the defined height of a panel to be made, 2, 50 meters high to give an example. Thus, the block 12, when cut perpendicularly to its longitudinal axis with a given thickness, for example 150 millimeters, a panel 10 is obtained 1.20 meters in width, 2.50 meters in height and 150 millimeters in thickness. This panel thus consists of module sections juxtaposed and glued together. In order to reinforce the resistance, it is possible to provide a half-shift between two superposed rows to obtain aliasing, as shown in FIG. 1. Such a panel 10 is composed of agro-materials for its production. Advantageously, fine particles of agro-materials are used, expanded, agglomerated with a binder of the starch polymer type. The panel 10 according to the present invention is thus lighter, of the order of 1 to 5 kg / m 2 according to the desired density and the thickness used, and with thermal insulation characteristics of the order of 0, 25 W / m 2 at 0.33 W / m2, at least the same or greater than those of a panel of the prior art, for the same thickness. According to the embodiment of FIG. 2, the panel 10-1 comprises differentiated zones A, B and C. Indeed, it is possible to make a block 12 comprising at least two superimposed sub-blocks, for example three sub-blocks 12-1, 12-2 and 12-3.
In fact, each cutout makes it possible to obtain a panel 10-1 with three zones A, B and C differentiated. This differentiation is exerted along an axis located in the plane of the panel, more particularly the longitudinal axis, generally corresponding to the height.
The differentiation may be of a mechanical-thermal nature, for example due to density variations: zone A: low part, high density to mechanically resist the recovery of the weight of the panel, zone B: part at height of man, medium density to allow attachment of objects, - zone C: upper part, low density to increase the insulating power where the heat accumulation naturally occurs. This arrangement of differentiated layers provides a perfectly functional panel with dedicated areas having maximum efficiency vis-à-vis each target parameter. This result is impossible to obtain with a homogeneous panel of the prior art for which only a compromise of the parameters is possible with all the disadvantages of the compromises, that is to say that no parameter is privileged and optimized; everything is averaged. The differentiation presented is based on the variation of the density of the same material but it can also be a differentiation by nature of the materials or both. In Figure 3, the panel 10-2 according to the present invention has added a zone D in the upper part, called compensation. This compensation zone D is of low density so as to give it an elastic power. Thus, on a low height of a few centimeters, the panel has an elastic return effect that keeps the panel in position when mounting the height of the panel is slightly greater than the available height. The zone D compresses in the direction of the plane of the panel and ensures the immobilization of the panel, by self-locking.
If the panel needs to be adjusted in height, only the lower part of the panel will undergo the adjustment cutout so as not to start the compression zone D. The panel 10-3 of FIG. 4 comprises a lower zone E designed to resist moisture. This may be of interest especially in case of water damage in a dwelling. For this purpose, the sub-block E concerned, before cutting, receives during its manufacture of hydrophobic builders. In Figure 5, the panel 10-4 has at least two areas, in this case three zones I, II, III differentiated in thickness. Thus, the panel 10-4 according to the present invention comprises several sub-panels 10-I, 10-II and 10-III, assembled together by superposition, each meeting the desired criteria. Thus, in a simple example, the sub-panel 10-I is of high density and low thickness to impart a high resistance to punching, the sub-panel 10-II is very insulating low density and the sub-panel 10 -III may be identical to the first sub-panel, that is to say of small thickness and high density. A panel of very high rigidity with a high moment of inertia is obtained. If such a panel is made with only the two sub-panels 10-I 25 and 10-II, then it is also possible on the contrary to bend the panel obtained to adapt to the curvature of a wall, the sub-panel low density being external to allow the strong deformation.
In FIG. 6, the panel 10-5 differentiated in thickness as presented may also include a sheet 16 of electromagnetic shielding. It is understood that the panel according to the invention may comprise the combination of zones differentiated in height but also in thickness.
The panel 10-6 according to the present invention, in its various embodiments, can receive a surface facing 18 in the form of a nonwoven layer based on natural fibers such as cellulose or in the form of a sheet of card stock. This is the representation of FIG. 7. This surface facing 18 allows the laying of decorative coatings for example and further contributes to the mechanical reinforcement of said panel. The panels according to the invention have a given width and they are juxtaposed laterally when the width of the support exceeds the width of the support which is generally the case of a wall. Also the panels can be crenellated edge, coming from manufacture as shown in Figure 1 or right-hand edge in case of machining. In the case of a crenellated border as shown in Figure 8, the interest is the lateral nesting which offers increased resistance due to the increase of the junction area. In order to further improve the quality of the junction, it is possible to vary the density of the unit modules arranged on the edges of panels to allow a compression effect which further improves the thermal and acoustic insulation but also the resistance fire. It is recognized that a better strength of the junction improves the mechanical properties and fire resistance in particular. Indeed, the continuity of a surface strongly limits the air and the air circulation likely to stoke the combustion. The description above has been based on unit modules of square section but this section of each module may be triangular but preferably hexagonal and this variant, shown in Figure 9, is particularly attractive. Indeed, the contact surface is important and these surfaces have planes oriented at 60 ° from each other, which mechanically reinforces the panels obtained as well as the connections between panels. Another advantage is the quality of the panels obtained because the unit modules themselves are more accurate during their manufacture. In fact, during the expansion of the unitary modules, for example at the output of the extrusion head, the density variations are greater in the angles and with a simple triangular or square section, these variations of expansion and therefore dimensional are larger than for hexagonal sections. In the case of triangular or square sections, the angles are more rounded with formation of channels in the junctions at the angles right inside the panels themselves and at the junctions between panels.
In the case of modules with hexagonal section, because of the dimensional and therefore geometric accuracy of these modules, the interlocking is quite efficient both for the realization of the panels and the bonding of the modules together for the connection of the panels. In addition, the rupture lines at the junction of the panels or in the same panel are never rectilinear but lead to a pronounced baffle effect. The interest is also to limit the machining operations using the output panel cutting, come from manufacturing. The insulating panel according to the present invention makes it possible to confer many advantages as indicated in the preamble. If such a panel finds an application for the building, it can also be used in facing other surfaces.
