Description

- 1 ARRANGEMENT OF A MOBILE FLOOR ELEMENT IN THE INTERIOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE. The invention relates to an arrangement of a floor element inside a motor vehicle, said floor element being mounted movably about a transverse axis carried by a lower edge of said floor element, between: - a first raised position in which the floor element extends substantially vertically along at least one seat back in the use position, front and rear locking means being provided to prevent tilting of the floor element towards, respectively, the front and the rear, and a second position folded forward in which the floor element extends substantially horizontally along the seat back in the tilted position forward. In some vehicles, to obtain a better load area in the trunk, it is possible to fold the seat backs forward. However, in order to facilitate the loading and to make it more convenient, it is preferable that the receiving surface of the load is flat. The unpublished publication FR-0654460, filed by the Applicant, discloses an arrangement in which a boot floor has a front element movable between a raised position and a folded position over the seat backs themselves tilted towards the seat. before. Such an arrangement makes it possible to obtain a particularly flat surface. However, handling such devices must be practical and intuitive. However, when the movable floor element is in the raised position, it is locked and then forms a safe separation. The user must therefore think to unlock the floor element when he wants to move the trunk in maximum load configuration, which is neither convenient nor intuitive. In order to overcome these drawbacks, the invention relates to an arrangement of a movable floor element in a motor vehicle whose handling and unlocking is simplified and practical. -2-For this purpose, the invention proposes an arrangement of a movable floor element of the type mentioned above, characterized in that the front locking means is constituted by the seat back in the position of use, the passage of the seat back from its use position to its forwardly tilted position being able to release the floor element to move from its raised position to its folded position forward, the blocking means back then being in lock configuration. According to other features of the invention: - The rear locking means of the floor element is a pin of transverse orientation mounted movably in a housing opening into a side edge of said floor element, said pin being adapted to occupy: - an unlocking position in which the pin is stored in its housing and - a locking position in which one end of the pin 15 is out of its housing and cooperates with a rear edge of a cavity in a housing element side dressing of the vehicle, the cavity having an opening opening into a front wall of the trim element, so that, after tilting the seat back to the front, the end of the pin is able to pass through said Opening to allow pivoting of the floor element forwardly. - The rear locking means of the floor member is a transverse pin mounted movably in a housing opening into a side edge of said floor member, said pin being adapted to occupy: - an unlocking position in which the pin is stored in its housing and - a locking position in which one end of the pin is out of its housing and cooperates with a rear edge of a cavity in a side dressing element of the vehicle, the cavity 30 having a opening opening into a front wall of the dressing element, so that, after tilting the seat back forward, the end of the pin is adapted to pass through said opening to allow the pivoting of the seat. floor element forward. - The pin comprises a gripping means for moving the pin in its housing. - The gripping means, form means of locking after rotation of the pin about its axis - The rear locking means is an elastic stop carried by a side dressing element, said resilient stop being able to deform during the passage of the floor element from its folded position towards the rear to its raised position. Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear on reading the description of exemplary embodiments of a movable floor element inside a motor vehicle with reference to the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 is a schematic side view of a vehicle having the arrangement in the folded position to the rear. - Figure 2 is a schematic side view of the arrangement of Figure 1 in the folded position forward. Figure 3 is a schematic side view of the arrangement of Figure 2 in the raised position. - Figure 4 is a schematic view along the direction IV-IV of Figure 3 of a detail of the invention according to a first embodiment. FIG. 5 is a diagrammatic view along the direction IV-IV of FIG. 3 of a detail of the invention according to a second embodiment. In the description which follows, we will take a non-limiting, longitudinal, vertical orientation. and transverse indicated by the trihedron L, V, T of Figures 1 to 5. We will also take a rear and front orientation with reference to the direction of travel of the vehicle. Identical or similar elements are designated by the same reference numerals. With the exception of the specific elements of the driving position, the vehicle has a general symmetry with respect to a median longitudinal plane.

Tel que représenté à la figure 3, l'élément mobile 16 est en position relevée contre le dossier 20 de la banquette 14.As shown in Figure 1, a motor vehicle has a boot floor 12 and at least one seat 14, or a row of seats, located in front of the boot floor 12. The boot floor 12 comprises a movable member 16 connected to a load stop beam 18 by its lower edge 19 and rotatably mounted about a transverse axis A. As shown in FIG. 1, the movable floor element 16 can occupy a storage position folded backwards, against the floor 12, when a maximum volume of loading is not necessary As shown in FIG. 2, the backrest 20 of the seat 14 is tilted forward and the moving element 16 is folded forward, over the back 20, so as to form a flat floor to provide a maximum loading surface. As shown in Figure 3, the movable member 16 is in the raised position against the backrest 20 of the seat 14.

Front locking means prevents the member from rotating forward to its forward folded position, while a rear locking means prevents the movable member from returning to its folded position. rearward. As shown in Figure 4, a front face 22 of the movable member 16 is, in the raised position, facing the seat back 20. The seat back 20 thus forms the locking means before the movable member 16 According to a first embodiment, represented in FIG. 4, the rear locking means is constituted by a pin 24, of transverse orientation, mounted to move in translation in a housing 26 carried by the mobile element 16. -5 - The housing 26 opens into a side edge 28 of the movable member 16, said side edge 28 facing a side dressing element 30 of the vehicle. The pin 24 is able to occupy an unlocked position in which it is stored in its housing 26, and a locking position in which its end 32 is projecting with respect to the lateral edge 28 of the movable member 16 and cooperates with an edge rear 34 of a cavity 36 formed in the covering member 30. The end 32 of the pin 24 abuts against the rear edge 34 of the cavity 36, the pivoting of the movable member 16 to its position io folded backwards is not possible. The cavity 36 also has an opening 38 opening into a front wall 40 of the covering element 38, substantially parallel to the backrest 20. When the seat back 20 is in the normal position of use, the opening 38 of the cavity 36 can be closed by the backrest 20.

In the raised locked position, the movable element 16 is thus caught between the backrest 20 and the covering element 30. When the backrest 20 is tilted from its normal position of use to its position tilted forward, moving the movable member 16 forward is unlocked. The pin 24, in the locking position is able to pass through the opening 38, which does not block, thus, the pivoting of the movable member 16 forward. Thus, as soon as the backrest 20 is tilted forward, the movable element will also be folded forward, without the need to unlock the front locking means.

The pin 24 may comprise a gripping means, not shown, for moving said pin 24 inside its housing 28. Said gripping means may also form a locking means of the pin 24 when the gripping means performs a rotation about the axis of the pin 24.

As shown in FIG. 5, the locking element is an elastic abutment 42 carried by the covering element 30. Thus, the movable element 16 moves from its folded position towards its rear position. raised by deforming the elastic stop 42. The deformation of the elastic stop 42 is shown in dashed lines in the figure. After the passage of the movable member 16, the stop 42 resumes its original shape and prevents the return of the movable member 16 to its folded position rearwardly. As in the first embodiment, when the backrest 20 is tilted from its normal use position to its forward tilted position, movement of the movable member 16 forward is released. The movable member 16 has no protruding element hindering its movement towards Io the front. The elastic abutment 42 also has no effect on this forward displacement of the movable member 16. Thus, as soon as the seat back 20 is tilted forwards, the movable member 16 can also be folded forward, without the user having to worry about unlocking the rear locking element.
