Abstract

The liner (1) has a tubular wall (2) comprising an upper end (22) closed by a weld, and a valve (4) integrated in the upper end. The tubular wall is obtained by overlapping and welding two lateral edges of a band. An upper part of a lateral weld is located at one of ends of the upper end of the wall. A round base wall (3) is fixed on an internal surface of the tubular wall and closes a lower end (21) of the wall.

Description

1 DESCRIPTION1 DESCRIPTION

The invention relates to a pocket for pressurized bottle, composed of a tubular wall 5 closed in its upper part by a weld in which is integrated a valve.

Such bags are commonly used in cosmetic sprayers. They allow to separate the product to be applied propellant contained in the bottle.

They generally consist of two walls welded together by four welds, a valve being integrated in the upper weld to allow the collection of the contents of the pocket.

Once filled, these pockets therefore have an oval or elliptical cross section. The two side welds each form a protruding edge which requires oversizing the bottle to give them room. Similarly, the bottom of the bag is also flattened and away from the wall of the bottle. In other words, the dead space inside the bottle due to the geometry of the pocket is not negligible.

The object of the invention is therefore on the one hand to reduce the number of welds necessary for the manufacture of the bag and on the other hand to reduce the space bites inside the bottle to increase the filling rate .

This object is achieved according to the invention because the tubular wall is obtained by overlapping and welding the two side edges of a strip. Thus, the tubular wall of the pocket will have a substantially circular cross section in much of its height. Moreover, the protruding edges of the pockets of the state of the art are avoided. In addition, there is only one longitudinal weld, where two were needed with the known pockets of the prior art. It is preferred that the top of the side seam be at one end of the upper seam of the tubular wall.

In a first embodiment of the invention, the tubular wall is closed in its lower part by flat welding of the lower edge of the wall, preferably in the same plane as the upper weld incorporating the valve. This first embodiment is particularly simple to achieve. The cross section of the pocket is almost circular in the middle of the height of the pocket, this section tends to become elliptical approaching the upper and lower ends where it is completely flat. The pocket occupies at least in its central part a large part of the space of the bottle, considerably reducing the dead space in this part.

In a second embodiment, the tubular wall is closed in its lower part by a substantially round bottom wall. Thus, the circular cross-section extends into the lower portion of the pocket, tending to become elliptical by approaching the upper end where it is completely flat. The pocket occupies, at least in a much lower part, almost all the space of the bottle, considerably reducing the dead space in this part.

It is preferable in this case that the bottom wall is substantially flat and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pocket. This is the simplest solution to achieve. The bottom wall is preferably fixed on the inner face of the tubular wall, in particular by means of a folded edge. The invention is described in more detail below with the aid of the figures which show: FIG. 1: a perspective view of a first exemplary embodiment of a pocket according to the invention; Figure 2: a front view of the pocket of Figure 1; Figure 3: a sectional view along the line A-A of Figure 2; Figure 4 is a side view of the pocket of Figure 1; Figure 5 is a perspective view of a second embodiment of a pocket according to the invention; Figure 6: a front view of the pocket of Figure 5; Figure 7: a sectional view along the line A-A of Figure 6; Figure 8 is a side view of the pocket of Figure 5; Figure 9: a partial section of the bottom of the pocket of Figure 5.

In both embodiments, the pocket (1, 101) of the invention consists of a tubular wall (2, 102). This tubular wall is obtained by welding the two edges io

3 sides of a band, these two edges overlapping. The longitudinal weld (23, 123) is therefore done by applying the inner face of one edge to the outer face of the other edge of the strip. This weld is therefore in the extension of the tubular wall without protruding as is the case in the state of the art where the two edges are welded by bringing face to face the inner faces of the edges of the strip.

The tubular wall (2, 102) consists of a band closed on itself for example by a weld so as to obtain a circular cross section without projecting edge. The upper end (22, 122) is closed by flattening the tubular wall to weld it on itself. A valve (4, 104), known per se, is placed in the center of this weld (22, 122) to allow the removal of the product contained in the pocket (1, 101).

For example, a metal-plastic film such as aluminum associated with polypropylene, high or low density polyethylene, EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol), Orgaloy (polyamide blend and polypropylene).

This bag is intended to be introduced into a dispenser bottle. The valve serves to collect the contents of the bag. A gas contained in the container, outside the pocket, serves to propel this content through the valve as soon as it is actuated.

In the first embodiment of the invention, the tubular wall (102) is closed at its lower end (121) by flat welding the lower edge (121) of the wall. The upper weld (122) and the lower weld (121) are preferably in the same plane, although this is not an obligation. The longitudinal weld (123) is preferably located at one end of the lower (121) and upper (122) welds.

In the second embodiment, the tubular wall (2) is closed at its lower end (21) by a substantially round bottom wall (3).

The bottom wall (3) is fixed for example by welding at the lower end (21) of the pocket (2). This bottom wall (3) is substantially flat and extends in the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pocket (1). For example, it may be welded by folding down the periphery of the bottom wall (3) so that a projecting edge (31) is formed parallel to the longitudinal axis of the pocket as shown in FIG. 9 .

The advantage of this pocket, whether the first embodiment or the second, is to require only three welds instead of four in the pockets of the state of the art. In addition, the shape of the pocket is substantially cylindrical in a significant part of its height and not oval or elliptical as in the state of the art. In addition, the absence of flat longitudinal welds over the entire height of the bag effectively reduces the dead space in the bottle. This allows a better filling rate. Indeed, the tubular wall is largely cylindrical and therefore aligns ~ o better with the wall of the container into which it must be introduced.
