Abstract
Description
SIEGE DE VEHICULE AUTOMOBILE L'invention concerne un siège de véhiculeThe invention relates to a vehicle seat
automobile notamment un siège comportant une assise dont l'armature est reliée à une articulation permettant à l'armature du dossier de se rabattre et un appui-tête relié à l'armature du dossier par une première liaison. automobile including a seat having a seat whose armature is connected to a joint allowing the frame of the backrest to fold down and a headrest connected to the backrest frame by a first connection.
Motor vehicle seats are generally equipped with headrests intended for users to improve their comfort in the passenger compartment. In order to adapt to the different sizes of the users, the headrests often include a support that can slide in the body of the folder to obtain different settings positions. These positions are in a known manner, set in a fixed recessed position to maintain the headrest in position. This configuration is restrictive for the user wishing to modulate the interior space of his vehicle by folding or retracting the seats. In this case, it is indeed necessary to unlock the headrest or completely return the support in its housing before any manipulation of the seat so that the headrest does not interfere with the folding of the seat.
In the case where the user wishes to access the third row seat of a vehicle, the headrest as described above and applied to the seats of the second row is also proving to be binding. Indeed, it is usually necessary to fold the seat of the second row to open access to the third row. In order to leave the widest possible passage, the headrest of the seat of the second row turns out to be an obstacle to the folding of the seat, especially when it comes into contact with the driver's seat for example. Finally, for retractable seats, a fixed headrest in position is not only a constraint when setting up or retracting the seat, but it can also be damaged if it is not in the right position. position. The present invention relates to a motor vehicle seat that overcomes these disadvantages by facilitating the use of the headrest for cases where the seat retracts or evolves from a position of use to a folded position . These objects are achieved according to the invention in that the headrest falls on the backrest when the backrest moves from a position of use to a folded position. The present invention thus makes it possible to be able to use seats equipped with headrest can retract at the same time as the seat is actuated to fold or retract. The user can then manipulate in one go the seat and the headrest so that it does not interfere with the operating kinematics. The synchronization of the movements of the seat and the headrest 20 improves the ergonomics and facilitate the handling of the retractable seats. In preferred embodiments, one and / or other of the following arrangements is furthermore employed: the first connection between the support of the headrest and the backrest frame is a connection slide; - The support of the headrest is connected to a cable secured to the floor of the vehicle; - The connection between the support and the cable is made by crimping; The cable slides on at least one mobile wheel in rotation; - the return is secured to the frame of the file; 2910400 3 - the cable is connected to the backrest frame by an elastic connection; the elastic connection is a spring; - The spring relaxes when the seat back folds 5 of the seat; - The spring acts in compression when the seat back is folded from the seat. Other features and advantages of the invention will become apparent upon reading the following description of an exemplary embodiment given by way of illustration with reference to the appended figures in which: FIG. 1 schematically represents a seat of FIG. motor vehicle viewed from the side and provided with a headrest according to an embodiment in the position of use; FIG. 2 schematically represents a motor vehicle seat viewed from the side and provided with a headrest according to an embodiment in the retracted position. 1 shows a motor vehicle seat viewed from the side having a seat 1 on which is articulated a backrest 4 capable of folding itself on the seat in case of retraction in a tank inserted in the floor and not shown . The seat 1 comprises a frame 2 connected to a hinge 3 allowing a frame 5 of the backrest 4 to pivot 25 to move from a position of use to a retracted position. In the embodiment shown in Figure 1, the backrest 4 is equipped with a headrest 6 carried by a support 7 and movable in translation in the body of the backrest 4. The support 7 is connected to the frame 5 by a link 8 allowing the translation of the support 7 relative to the armature 5. The support 7 is secured to a cable 1 0 or any other equivalent means, through the link 9. This is carried out by 2910400 4 crimping or by any other similar binding system. The cable 10 connects the support 7 and the headrest 6 to the vehicle floor 14 and slides along at least one cylindrical return 13 and not shown guides ensuring the proper operation of the system. In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 and 2, the cable 10 is connected to the frame 5 of the backrest 4 by means of an elastic connection or any other equivalent means exerting a force varying with the displacement. The present invention comprises as elastic connection a spring 11 for folding the headrest when the seat is retracted. In Figure 1, the spring 11 is in the rest position when the seat is in the use position. At the moment when the user wishes to retract the seat in its seat 15 as shown in Figure 2, the cable 10 exerts a force on the spring 11 which has the effect of driving in translation support 7 and the headrest 6. The force applied keeps the headrest 6 in the folded position when the seat is in the folded position.
The present invention is applicable to retractable seats that can be folded into a floor housing and can be adapted to the seats of a second row of seats to facilitate the modularity of the seats or to improve access to the third row of seats.
