Abstract

The case (1) has compartments (10-13) for containing respective products.   The present invention relates to a housing for storing and mixing cosmetic and / or care products, and in particular makeup products. The present invention also relates to a packaging kit of such products as well as a makeup process. A preferred, but not exclusive, field of the present invention is the extemporaneous mixing of cosmetic products and the application of this mixture to a body surface. By cosmetic product is meant a product as defined in Council Directive 93/35 / EEC of 14 June 1993. Numerous devices for performing an extemporaneous mixing of cosmetics are listed in the prior art. EP 1 602 588, US Pat. No. 3,917,062 and US Pat. No. 4,705,051 disclose, in particular, examples of devices of the prior art.

  US-4,705,051 discloses in particular a container of cosmetic product having two product compartments each containing a blush in powder form of a given color. Each product compartment is connected to a common mixing chamber. This mixing chamber comprises an opening through which a retractable brush extends. This brush is movable relative to the opening of said mixing chamber over a given distance. To do this, the brush is manipulated by a lug guided in a slot. In the fully retracted position, a portion of the brush protrudes through the opening of the mixing chamber while in the fully extended position, the brush as a whole protrudes out of the opening of said mixing chamber. However, a disadvantage associated with this device is that it is difficult for the user to correctly dose the products leaving the product compartments to obtain an extemporaneous mixture of suitable color. Otherwise, such a device does not make it possible to pre-visualize the color resulting from the mixing of the products. Finally, such a device causes a considerable loss of product resulting from the friction of the bristles of the brush with the opening of the mixing chamber during the extension of the brush. An object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device overcoming at least one of the aforementioned drawbacks. An object of the present invention is also to provide a device for making a mixture of several products whose properties, such as its color or viscosity, are customizable and can be easily evaluated before the application of the product. An object of the present invention is also to provide a device for preparing small volumes of product mixture. An object of the present invention is also to provide a device for easily rectifying the properties of the product mixture obtained.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a nomadic device that can be easily transported in a pocket or purse. The present invention therefore relates to a housing for storing and mixing cosmetic and / or care products, in particular makeup products, comprising: - two product compartments able to contain a respective product, - a mixing chamber separate from said two product compartments comprising an opening configured to allow the introduction of mixing means of said products external to the housing, means for selectively communicating said product compartments with said mixing chamber. Such a housing comprising an opening directly accessible from the outside thus allows a user to create her own mixture of cosmetic products, and in particular to visualize the proportions of products to be mixed, to observe the product mixing result. and optionally rectifying the properties of this mixture until the desired mixture is obtained.

Said product compartments may be formed by the housing or reported in said housing. Said mixing chamber can be secured to said two product compartments. Another object of the present invention is still to provide a makeup process for obtaining an extemporaneous mixture of several cosmetic products. Once emptied of their contents, these compartments can be easily replaced by a new product compartment. Such a housing comprises at least two product compartments. A slot 141 may be formed through the free edge 140 of the mixing chamber. This slot 141 may also be provided at a distance from the free edge 140. Such a slot may have an identical shape, similar to or different from that of the orifices 104, 114, 124, 134 of the different product compartments.

Furthermore, this mixing chamber may also comprise an external shoulder or recess 144. This external recess may be provided between the bottom 143 and the free edge 140. The mixing chamber may be provided removably. In other words, this chamber can be associated with the housing 1 and possibly detached, for example to be cleaned.

The mixing chamber can be received in the receptacle 17. In particular, this mixing chamber can be received in the bowl 161. In the mounting position of the mixing chamber in the receptacle, the external recess 144 of the mixing chamber can abut against the frustoconical portion 160 of the bottom of the receptacle. The bottom 143 of the mixing chamber may possibly abut against the bowl 161 of the bottom of the receptacle. The product compartments may extend laterally with respect to the mixing chamber. The product compartments 10, 11, 12, 13 can be arranged around the mixing chamber 14. In other words, the mixing chamber 14 can occupy a central position relative to the product compartments 10, 11, 12, 13. This chamber can extend in the cylinder axis X.

In the embodiment shown, the free edge 140 of the mixing chamber may be set back from the free edges 1030, 1130, 1230, 1330 of the distribution walls. This free edge 140 could also be flush with said free edges of the distribution walls 103, 113, 123, 133 or protrude from these free edges.

As shown in FIG. 7, the bottom of the product compartments may be inclined toward the mixing chamber. In other words, the bottom of the product compartments can define a downward slope to the mixing chamber.

The mixing chamber may be rotatably mounted in the receptacle. Thus, this mixing chamber is rotatable relative to the product compartments 10, 11, 12, 13. This chamber can be rotated 360 or less. To facilitate the movement of the mixing chamber with respect to the product compartments, the mixing chamber may comprise handling means 142. These handling means may comprise a projection extending from the free edge 140. This projection may protrude beyond the distribution walls 103, 113, 123, 133. This housing comprises means for placing in a selective communication said mixing chamber with said product compartments.

In this example, the mixing chamber can be moved between a position of masking the orifices 104, 114, 124, 134 and a position of disengagement of at least one of said orifices 104, 114, 124, 134. The slot 141 allows selectively communicating said mixing chamber with said product compartments. As shown in Figure 1, in the masking position, the mixing chamber 14 closes the orifices 104, 114, 124, 134 of the product compartment distribution walls. In such a case, the slot 141 is not facing one of the orifices 104, 114, 124, 134. In such a position, the compartments 10, 11, 12, 13 can be filled into products. In the disengaged position, the slot 141 comes at least partially, and preferably completely, opposite at least one of said orifices 104, 114, 124, 134 for connecting said corresponding product compartment with the mixing chamber . The free edge 140 of the mixing chamber defines an access opening configured to allow the introduction of these mixing means 30. In other words, this opening is directly accessible from the outside by the user so that mixing means can be reported in said mixing chamber when the lid 2 is in the open position.

The opening of this mixing chamber may be of any suitable form such as circular. It may have a diameter of between 0.5 and 4 cm. The present invention thus also relates to a kit for packaging cosmetics and / or care products comprising, in addition to the housing 1, mixing means 30. According to the exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 7, these means of Mixture 30 is adapted to crush-blend said cosmetics collected in the mixing chamber. The operation of a packaging kit according to the present invention will now be described. When the mixing chamber is rotated relative to the product compartments in a position for disengaging one of said orifices 104, 114, 124, 134, the product contained in the corresponding compartment can flow by gravity into the mixing chamber. 14. The fact that the mixing chamber 14 has a free edge 140 of cross-section greater than or equal to any other cross-sectional area at the mixing chamber allows the mixing means 30 to come into contact with all the inner walls. of the mixing chamber without any difficulty. This characteristic makes it possible to obtain good visibility of the interior of the mixing chamber and to ensure a homogeneous mixture of the products. In this embodiment, the flap 106 is pivotably mounted on the distribution wall 103. The hinge of the flap 106 can be made by means of an attached pin 1032. As shown, such an axis can be arranged on one edge of the orifice 104. A compression spring 5 may be provided to create a resistance to the movement of the flap 106.
