Abstract

The system has a plastic fixed support for a spare wheel (4) and placed below a loading platform of a boot. The support forms a structural element of a motor vehicle and interposed between two rear auxiliary longitudinal members. A removable central flap (12) is provided in a rear bumper (11) of the vehicle. The bumper permits access to the support from exterior of the vehicle and forms a body element when the flap is placed on the bumper. The flap has a rear surface made of material same as that of the bumper.
