Ceci génère des risques de déformations inesthétiques. automobile, of the type comprising a rigid main body and a flexible lip bordering the main body and adapted to be applied along a frame element of the passenger compartment, an end edge of the trim piece adjacent to a end of the lip being intended to dock a trim element of the passenger compartment. The invention applies in particular to bay stud fittings framing the windshield. In motor vehicles, the windows, including the windshield lo, are maintained in a metal frame of the vehicle structure. To improve the interior visual appearance of the passenger compartment, the amounts of the berry frames of some vehicles are conventionally covered with trim or siding. These fittings completely cover the metal frame and can be supported along a longitudinal edge along the rabbet of the windshield. These trims are particularly important for the interior styling of the vehicle as they are constantly under the watch of the driver and front passenger. They also condition the visibility of the driver. In order to allow the lining to be accurately positioned on the frame which holds the windshield, bi-material linings 20 have been proposed comprising a rigid main body made of molded plastic material having an edge of which is formed a longitudinal lip made in an elastic material. This longitudinal lip is adapted to be applied on the end of the rabbet of the windshield, thus ensuring a play-free adjustment between the rabbet of the windshield and the lining without the risk of generating undesirable noises. The bolster trim is docked, at its upper end, to the headliner. For the finish to be aesthetic, the two pieces of trim must be stressed on one another. However, at the level of the flexible lip, the stressing is difficult to create due to the elasticity of the material constituting the flexible lip. This generates risks of unsightly deformations.
A similar problem may arise at the location of the docking of various pairs of trim parts - cabin trim element. The object of the invention is to propose a piece of vehicle lining 5 adapted to be accosted in constraint, without play, by a covering element without unattractive deformation of the flexible lip. For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a packing piece of the aforementioned type, characterized in that said end edge is rigid and integral with the body, the adjacent end of the lip being spaced from this upper edge. According to other features of the invention: said end edge has a stepped profile adapted to receive an edge of said second cabin part, the step is projecting towards the outside of the passenger compartment, the lining piece has a non-rectilinear cross-section defining a concave face of the lining piece, said step protrudes with respect to the body and the lip on the side of the concave face of the lining piece; transverse edge has a smooth outer surface for docking said cladding element, the lining piece comprises fastening means for cooperating with fastening means integral with said framing member, the lining piece comprises a textile covering covering the body and the lip; the trim piece forms a bolster trim, said frame member being a berry post and said baffle element; t a headlining. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle which comprises at least one piece of packing as defined above. The invention will be better understood on reading the description which will follow given solely by way of example and with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a partial perspective view of a passenger compartment; motor vehicle showing a lining according to the invention covering a bay amount; - Figure 2 is a front view of the liner of Figure 1; - Figure 3 is a sectional view of the amount of bay and its packing, according to the plane III-III of Figure 1; FIG. 4 is a detail view of FIG. 3; FIG. 5 is a detail view of FIG. 2, showing the upper end of the liner; ~ o - Figure 6 is a sectional view of the liner, along the plane VI of Figure 5, mounted in docking against a headlining; - Figure 7 is a perspective view of a seal according to a variant with a right transverse flange; and - Figure 8 is a corresponding profile view, along the plane VIII of Figure 7, mounted in docking against a headliner. In the following, the guidelines refer to the passenger compartment of the vehicle. In FIG. 1, a vehicle interior 10 is partially shown with an instrument panel 12 disposed in front of a windshield 14 carried by the vehicle structure. An amount of windshield 16 extends along the height of the windshield and separates it from the door designated by reference 18. The upright 16 is covered with a trim or cladding 19 according to the invention. This part covers the upright 16 and is spaced from the inner surface of the windshield 14. As shown in FIG. 2, the gasket 19 is of elongate shape, and has a concave outer face 20 adapted to cover the upright 16 The upper end of the liner 19 is intended to be docked against a headliner along its transverse edge 21, as will be explained later. The lower end of the liner 19 is intended to be accosted against the dashboard 12.
For assembly of the lining piece 19 on the upright 16, a series of clips 22 are clipped into recesses 23 of the upright 16 as shown in FIG. 3. These clips comprise resilient retaining means 123 capable of gripping tabs. linkage 24 projecting on the concave face 20 of the lining 19. The amount of bay 16 defines, in the vicinity of the side edge of the windshield 14, a rabbet 29 of the windshield. The flexible lip 28 is adapted to apply without play on the end 29A of the rabbet 29 by deforming elastically. The liner 19 is formed, for example, by bi-injection into a mold. It has a rigid main body 26 bordered on one side by a flexible longitudinal lip 28. It further comprises a textile coating 30 forming the visible inner surface of the lining and completely covering the rigid body 26 and the flexible lip 28.
In an alternative embodiment, the liner may be devoid of a textile coating. The amount of bay 16 defines, in the vicinity of the side edge of the windshield 14, a rabbet 29 of the windshield. The flexible lip 28 is adapted to apply without play on the end 29A of the rabbet 29 by elastically deforming. The rigid body 26 and the flexible lip 28 are successively molded in the same mold. The rigid body 26 is formed, for example, of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), of polypropylene, which may or may not be loaded, for example with ethylene-propylene-dimonomer (EPDM) and / or talc or glass fibers, or any other conventional charge. The flexible lip 28 is made for example of styrene-ethylbutadiene-styrene polymer (SEBS) or ethylene-propylene-dimonomer (EPDM). The textile covering 30 covering the body and the lip is formed, for example, of a woven or knitted material, of Alcantara, thermoplastic olefin (TPO), thermoplastic urethane (TPU), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) , or a non-woven material for example flocked or a cork sheet, or a combination of such materials. At the interface 31 between the rigid body 26 and the flexible lip 28, they interpenetrate. Thus, a tongue 33 extends the edge of the inner surface of the rigid body 26 and penetrates into a rebate 34 of corresponding shape of the flexible lip 28. Another tongue 133 forms, in cross section (Figure 4), a V with the tongue 33, the V receiving the conjugate inner edge of the lip. Throughout its entire length, the transverse edge 21 of the upper end of the lining is rigid and integral with the main body 26, as shown in FIG. 5. This edge 21 has a stepped, L-shaped profile which projects and shifted outwardly with respect to the general inner surface 126 of the body 26. A first side 35 of the L-shaped edge 21 is perpendicular to the face 20, and a second side 36 is parallel thereto. The upper edge 37 of the lip 28 is received in a conjugate lower rebate 38 of the rim 21. As shown in FIG. 6, the rim 21 allows easy and accurate docking of the rim trim 19 with a headliner 39. Indeed, the first side 35 forms a bearing surface of the lining 39, whose profile is bent along its contact edge. The second side 36 is slid under the headliner, outside of it. The headliner 39 is mounted on the horn so as to exert pressure against the bolster lining 19. Due to the transverse edge 21 which is interposed between the lining 39 and the end of the flexible lip 28, that it is not in contact with the lining 39. The stress can therefore be exerted effectively, without risk of unsightly deformation of the lip 28. Alternatively (Figure 7), the transverse edge 21 of the liner is straight with respect to the body 26 and the lip 28. Its profile is continuous with respect to the concave face 20, as shown in FIG. 8. According to this variant, the roof lining 39 is slid under stress, under the lining. of bay upright 19, under stress against the outer face 40 of the edge 21.
