Abstract

The system has a frame (1) fixed on a facing of a concrete barrier e.g. retaining wall, and presenting a tilting on upper and lower cores (2) that permit to place a metallic plate (3) on which an iron cramp is fixed. The plate and the cramp are placed, by the tilting, against the facing of the barrier without blocking the plate and the cramp to permit their lateral displacement under the effect of thermal and mechanical constraints. Six metal bolts traversing the frame at six orifices (6) assure the fixation of the frame.

Elle concerne un système de renforcement de fixation des extrémités de glissières de sécurité sur les "séparateurs en béton". Les glissières de sécurité et les séparateurs en béton sont des dispositifs de retenue des véhicules. La queue de carpe est un élément métallique permettant de raccorder les extrémités d'une section de glissières de sécurité aux séparateurs en béton de type GBA (Glissières en béton Adhérent) et DBA (Double en Béton Adhérent).  It relates to a strengthening system for fixing the ends of guardrails on "concrete separators". Sous l' effet de diverses contraintes, mécaniques et thermiques, il arrive parfois que les queues de carpe se désolidarisent des séparateurs en béton, générant ainsi un écartement (entre GBA et la queue de carpe). L'extrémité de la queue de carpe, alors en saillie présente un danger potentiel au regard de la circulation routière. Le dispositif selon l'invention permet de remédier à cet inconvénient. Il consiste en la fixation d'une plaque métallique en forme de cadre (1) sur le parement des séparateurs en béton et présentant un dévoiement (2) sur les âmes supérieure et inférieure permettant de placer une plaque métallique (3) sur laquelle est fixée la queue de carpe (4)(figure 6). La queue de carpe (4) est donc solidaire de la plaque (3). Le dévoiement des âmes supérieure et inférieure (2) du cadre (1) sert à d'appliquer la plaque (3) et la queue de carpe (4) contre le parement du séparateur sans les bloquer,permettant ainsi leur déplacement latéral sous l'effet de diverses contraintes, mécaniques et thermiques.  Carp tails are attached to concrete separators by expansion, chemical or knock anchors. The carp tail (4) is therefore integral with the plate (3). The deflection of the upper and lower cores (2) of the frame (1) serves to apply the plate (3) and the carptail (4) against the facing of the separator without blocking them, thus allowing their lateral displacement under the effect of various constraints, mechanical and thermal.

La fixation du cadre est assurée par six chevilles métalliques à expansion, chimiques ou à frapper, traversant ledit cadre au droit des six orifices (6) prévus à cet effet et répartis par trois unités sur chaque âme latérale (7). Les arêtes extérieures des âmes latérales du cadre peuvent être chanfreinées (8) ou non chanfreinées. La plaque sur laquelle est fixée la queue de carpe est équipée d'un retour en angle droit (9) dans sa partie supérieure pour faciliter son maintien lors de la pose du dispositif. La fixation de la queue de carpe à la plaque peut-être assurée selon 40 deux méthodes. Compte tenu que chacune de ces deux méthodes est conditionnée par un type de plaque spécifique, deux types de plaques sont illustrées soit à la figure 4 ou à la figure 5. Selon une méthode dont la plaque est illustrée par la figure 4, la plaque est équipée de trois gougeons (10) soudés 45 à ladite plaque dont les extrémités sont filetées (0 16mm). L'espacement et l'alignement des gougeons permettent de faire en sorte qu'ils s'insèrent parfaitement dans les orifices de la queue de carpe par lesquels sont ordinairement placées les chevilles de fixation au séparateur en béton. Lorsque la 50 queue de carpe est positionnée sur la plaque, les écrous sont alors vissés sur les extrémités filetées des gougeons. La seconde méthode consiste à opérer trois orifices (11) filetés (0 16mm) traversant la plaque, alignés et espacés selon les orifices de fixation de la queue de carpe. La queue de carpe 55 est appliquée sur la plaque. Des vis (0 16mm), traversant les orifices de la queue de carpe, sont alors vissées dans les orifices filetés de la plaque. La mise en oeuvre de cette méthode nécessite l'utilisation de vis de 11 mm de longueur en 0 16mm. Ces dimensions n'étant pas normalisées, cette 60 méthode ne sera possible que si la fabrication de telles vis est réalisable. La première méthode reste la méthode de base pour la mise en oeuvre du dispositif. Le présent dispositif peut être installé de manière curative (après la désolidarisation de la queue de carpe et du 65 séparateur en béton) ou de manière préventive, en renforcement de fixation avant que n'apparaisse un écartement de la queue de carpe. Dans les actions curatives, le dispositif selon l'invention présente l'avantage de ne pas avoir à reprendre les orifices des séparateurs après l'éjection 70 des chevilles métalliques servant à fixer la queue de carpe, ce type d'action étant délicate et sans garantie de pérennité de la réparation. Le présent dispositif, peut-être utilisé sur les extrémités de glissières de sécurité exposées frontalement à la circulation i 75 (pose dite "en amont") et aussi sur les extrémités de fin de glissières (pose dite "en aval"). Le présent dispositif peut-être employé pour renforcer les fixations de glissières de sécurité à tout type de mur (ex: parements de murets d'ouvrages d'art ou murs de 80 soutènement). Il peut-être employé sur les glissières de sécurité de type A ou de type B. Les éléments composant le présent dispositif sont fabriqués en acier présentant des caractéristiques mécaniques au moins égales à celles des aciers E-24 ou E-36 telles que 85 définies dans la norme NF A 35 501. Ces éléments sont galvanisés au trempé (cf. When the carp tail is positioned on the plate, the nuts are then screwed onto the threaded ends of the pins. The second method is to operate three holes (11) threaded (0 16mm) through the plate, aligned and spaced according to the fixing holes of the carptail. The carp tail 55 is applied to the plate. Screws (0 16mm), through the holes of the carptail, are then screwed into the threaded holes of the plate. The implementation of this method requires the use of screws of 11 mm length in 0 16mm. These dimensions are not standardized, this method will be possible only if the manufacture of such screws is feasible. The first method remains the basic method for implementing the device. The present device can be installed in a curative manner (after disconnection of the carp shank and the concrete separator) or preventively, in fixing reinforcement before there appears a separation of the carp shank. In curative actions, the device according to the invention has the advantage of not having to take up the orifices of the separators after the ejection 70 of the metal dowels used to fix the carp tail, this type of action being delicate and without guarantee of durability of the repair. The present device, can be used on the ends of safety rails exposed frontally to the circulation i 75 (so-called "upstream" laying) and also on the end ends of slides (so-called "downstream" laying). Claims (3)
