Description

PARE-SOLEIL A GLISSIERE La présente invention concerne les pare-soleil, etThe present invention relates to sun visors, and

en particulier les pare-soleil de véhicule automobile.  in particular the sunshades of a motor vehicle.

Motor vehicles are equipped with sun visors at the front seats, allowing the driver and front passenger to avoid being dazzled by the sun. The publication EP 0 945 293 proposes a sun visor comprising a sun visor pallet pivoting relative to a support sliding on slides. The pallet and its support are housed between the roof of the vehicle and its lining when they are not used. However, vehicles with a panoramic view cockpit combine a large glass roof and structural elements between the roof and the windshield. For aesthetic reasons, these structures are decreasing in size. It is therefore necessary for the sun visors to integrate into the existing structures so as not to obscure part of the glass roof surface when they are not used, that is to say in the rest position. In addition, for safety reasons, the handling of sunshades must be as simple as possible so as not to disturb the driver's vigilance.

The object of the invention is to provide an improved sun visor, easy to handle and better integrated into the vehicle structure when not in use. For this purpose, the invention proposes a blackout element mounted on a single slide fixed on a lateral part of the body structure of the vehicle, the sun visor being able to slide from its rest position opposite a cross member of the structure of the vehicle. vehicle, to an active position along the part to be hidden. The slide can extend beyond the vehicle transom to the roof level, so that the sun visor can take a high position, above the user and protect the latter from dazzling rays when the vehicle has a panoramic glass roof and that the sun is above the vehicle.

The slide can follow the curvature of the structure of the vehicle body to be able to position the sunshade in an active position by following the curvature of the windshield. The width of the blackout element is advantageously less than or equal to the width of the cross member of the vehicle. An adjustment device may be included in the sun visor to allow the sun visor to be locked in a desired position. The blackout element can be connected to the slideway via an arm, the blackout element being pivotally mounted on the arm.

The blackout element can extend to the slide and be mounted directly on the slide. The invention also proposes a vehicle comprising at least one visor described above. The invention will now be described in the form of examples with reference to the following appended drawings: FIG. 1 is a partial view of a vehicle equipped with a sun visor according to the invention; - Figure 2 is a view of a hood according to a first embodiment in the unused position and in the lowered position; FIG. 3 is a view of the sun visor of FIG. 2 in the unused position and in the high position; and FIG. 4 is a view of a sun visor according to a second embodiment. Referring to Figures 1 to 3, a vehicle 10 is equipped with a cross member 12 of the vehicle structure 10 separating the windshield 14 of the roof 16, glazed in this example. The vehicle is also equipped with sun visor 18 to protect the driver and the front passenger from blinding rays of the sun. In FIG. 1, the sun visor 18a of the driver is lowered into an active position and the sun visor 18b of the front passenger is in the rest position opposite the crossbar 12.

A sun visor 18 has a blackout element 20 and an arm 22 connecting the blackout element 20 to a slide 24. The blackout element 20 is mounted on the arm 22. A portion of the arm 22 extends along a horizontal axis parallel to the windshield 14 and the cross member 12. In this example the blackout element can rotate around the horizontal axis described by the arm 22. The axis of the connection between the blackout element 20 and the arm 22 is substantially parallel to the upper edge of the blackout element 20, for example in FIG. 2, this axis is located along the upper edge of the blackout element 20.

The arm 22 is in translation along the slide 24. The slide 24 is fixed on a part of the vehicle structure, for example a bay upright 26. The slide 24 extends over a portion of the upright 26 of bay straight or following the curvature of the upright 26 and the windshield 14, up to the level of the cross member 12.

The operation of the invention is as follows: In the rest position, the blackout element 20 of the sun visor 18 is located opposite the cross member 12. Advantageously, the width of this blackout element 20 is substantially equal to or less than the width of the cross member 12 so as not to obscure a portion of the windshield 14 or the glass roof 16. When the driver or the passenger is dazzled by the sun's rays, he moves his visor 18 along the slide 24 to the desired position. It can then adjust the inclination of the blackout element 20 by pivoting it around the arm 22.

According to a variant of this embodiment, as represented in FIG. 3, the slide 24 extends on either side of the cross-member 12. The arm 22 and thus the concealment element 20 can thus take several active positions . In a first active position, the blackout element 20 hides part of the glass roof and protects the driver from dazzling rays when the sun is above the vehicle 10, and in a second active position, the blackout element 20 hides a part windshield 14 and protects the driver glare rays when the sun is in front of the vehicle 10. Another embodiment of the invention is shown in Figure 4. A sun visor 18 has a blackout element 20 and a slide 24 fastened to a part of the vehicle structure, for example a bay upright 26. The blackout element 20 extends to the slide 24 and is directly slidably mounted on said slideway 24. The blackout element 20 no longer pivots about a horizontal axis substantially parallel to the cross member 12. The blackout element 20 slides along the slide 24 substantially parallel to the windshield 14 if the slide 24 sui t The curvature of the windshield 14. The slide 24 can also extend beyond the cross member 12 so as to slide the blackout element 20 above the driver or front passenger to hide a portion of the glass roof and protect dazzling rays when the sun is above the vehicle 10. The single translational movement of the sun visor 18 is intuitive for the driver who can then keep his attention on his conduct. In the two previous embodiments the sun visor 18 may be equipped with an adjustment device located at the interface of the slide 24 and the sliding arm 24 or the sliding blackout element 20. This adjustment device makes it possible to block the sun visor 18 in the desired position in order to prevent the visor 18 from involuntarily changing its position.
