Abstract
Description
1 La présente invention concerne un revêtement de sol intérieur pourThe present invention relates to an interior floor covering for
This floor covering is intended in particular to be placed on the floor of a motor vehicle, for example in front of the vehicle seats. WO-A-2004/045902 discloses a mat comprising a base delimiting a receiving housing of a medallion. This mat is intended to be placed on a pre-existing cockpit carpet of a motor vehicle to prevent the cabin carpet is soiled and / or worn by the feet of passengers. The medallion consists of a stack of adhesive sheets, so that it has an adhesive active face for collecting dust and other solid residues introduced into the vehicle by its occupants. The active face of the medallion has a higher adhesion than that of the surface appearance of the base. Such a mat is not entirely satisfactory. Indeed, the adhesive side is disposed opposite the feet of the occupant of the vehicle, which can lead to inconvenience for the occupant, when it does not use the vehicle with dirty shoes. The interior design possibilities of the vehicle are therefore limited with this mat. An object of the invention is therefore to obtain an interior floor covering for a motor vehicle that allows the collection of residues, and which is aesthetic and less troublesome for the user of the vehicle. To this end, the subject of the invention is a floor covering of the aforesaid type, characterized in that it comprises, for the or each housing, a surtapis of shape substantially complementary to the housing, the mat having an aspect face and comprising on the opposite face, liquid and / or solid waste collection means, these collection means comprising at least one receptacle formed in the mat, the receptacle being delimited externally by a peripheral edge of the mat, which protrudes by relative to a bottom of the receptacle, and the mat is reversible and able to occupy an active configuration disposed in the housing in which the collection means are exposed, the aspect face being received in the housing and a configuration in which the collection means are returned to the housing and the aspect face is exposed. The flooring according to the invention may comprise one or more of the following characteristics, taken separately or in any technically possible combination: the mat comprises at least two panels and at least one hinge; joint connecting the panels; - The receptacle is formed by a peripheral channel extending along the peripheral edge of the mattress; io - the receptacle is formed by a bowl extending substantially over the entire surface of the mat; the appearance face of the mat is delimited by a textile layer; - The mat comprises an impervious layer on the face having the collection means; The housing and the mats respectively have a depth and a thickness such that the mat in the active configuration and in the rest configuration is flush with the surface of the cabin carpet following the perimeter of the housing; and the surface of the cabin carpet is continuous and delimits a bottom for housing. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle, of the type comprising a floor, characterized in that it comprises a floor covering as defined above, resting on the floor. The invention also relates to a method of interior layout of a vehicle provided with a floor covering as defined above, the method comprising a step of maintaining in its active configuration at least one mattress in an associated housing of the cabin carpet, characterized in that it comprises a step of overturning the mat to return the collection means in the housing and make the appearance side visible. The invention will be better understood on reading the description which will follow, given solely by way of example, and with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view from above of a front portion of a flooring according to the invention having two mats in a waste collection configuration; - Figure 2 is a view of a detail of Figure 1 without mat; Figure 3 is a view similar to Figure 1, the mats being dis-posed in a rest configuration; - Figure 4 is a perspective view from above on a larger scale of a mat shown in Figure 1; FIG. 4A is a side view of the mat of FIG. 4; Figures 5A and 5B are cross-sectional views taken along a vertical plane of the floor covering shown in Figure 1 with a mat, the mattress occupying respectively its residue collection configuration and its rest configuration; FIGS. 6A and 6B are views similar to FIGS. 5A and 5B of an alternative floor covering according to the invention. In all that follows, the orientations are the usual orientations of a motor vehicle. Thus, the terms left, right, front, rear, upper, lower, longitudinal, transverse are understood in relation to the normal direction of circulation of the vehicle and the position of a driver. The interior floor covering 10 shown in FIG. 1 is intended to be placed in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle, on the floor 18 at the front of the vehicle. As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3, the floor covering 10 comprises a cabin carpet 32 placed directly on the floor 18 and two mats 34, 36 received in respective recesses 38, 40 formed in the carpet of FIG. 32. As illustrated in FIG. 1, the cabin carpet 32 comprises a left portion 42A applied to a left region of the floor 18, a straight portion 42B applied to a straight region of the floor 18, and a central portion 42C applied. on the central tunnel of the floor 18. The cabin carpet 32 is normally bonded or at least applied to the metal structure of the vehicle forming the floor with optional interposition of an insulating material. The left part 42A and the right part 42B each comprise a substantially flat rear region 43 and a front region 44 inclined forward and upward. The cabin carpet 32 comprises a carpet layer delimiting an exposed surface 46 extending into the passenger compartment. The left housing 38 and the right housing 40 are made by stamping the cabin carpet 32 downwards, respectively in the left part 42A and in the right part 42B. Each housing 38, 40 is delimited by a bottom 48 integrally formed with the passenger compartment mat 32 and a lateral edge 50 connecting the exposed surface 46 to the bottom 48. The seats 38, 40 open into the exposed surface 46 without cross the mat from one side to the other according to its thickness. The bottom 48 of the right housing 40 has a substantially horizontal region 52, and an inclined region 54 forwards and upwards, while the bottom 48 of the left housing is substantially planar. As illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, each mat 34, 36 is of complementary shape to that of a housing 38, 40 associated. Each mat 34, 36 thus has an invariant contour by rotation at 180 around a transverse axis contained in its plane. Each mat 34, 36 comprises a textile-like layer delimiting an appearance face 60 visible in FIG. 3, and an impermeable plastic layer delimiting a residue collection face 66 situated opposite the face of the face. 60 and visible in Figure 1. Preferably, the collection face 66 is formed of a material having aesthetic characteristics coordinated with the rest of the vehicle and thus also constitutes an aspect face. Each mat 34, 36 is thus reversible and can occupy, as will be seen below, a rest configuration in which the aspect face 60 is visible in the passenger compartment 12, and the face 66 of residue collection is received in an associated housing 38, 40, and an active residue collection configuration, in which the appearance face 60 is returned to the associated housing 38, 40 and the residue collection face 66 is visible in the passenger compartment. The appearance face is made based on a carpet of density greater than the density of the carpet forming the exposed surface 46 of the carpet 5 of cockpit 32. The face 66 of the residue collection has a surface adhesion substantially zero with the bottom 48 of the housing. Referring to Figures 5A and 5B, the residue collection face 66 defines at least one residue collection receptacle 68 delimited by a bottom 70, and by a peripheral rim 72 of the mat 34, 36, which protrudes outwards. 70. In the example illustrated by FIGS. 5A and 5B, the receptacle 68 of the mat 34, 36 extends substantially over the entire surface of the mat 34, 36 and thus forms a bowl with a substantially plane bottom 70 limited only by the peripheral rim 72 of small width. In a variant illustrated in Figures 6A and 6B, the receptacle 68 of the mat 34, 36 forms a peripheral channel extending substantially parallel to the peripheral flange 72 over the entire periphery of the mattress 36. The channel is internally delimited by a central portion 76 of mat thickness substantially equal to the thickness of the peripheral flange 72. As illustrated in Figure 4, the right mattress surface 36 comprises at least one transverse hinge 78 formed by a groove in the face 66 and extending over the entire width of the mat 34, 36. The hinge 78 and defines on the mat 36, a front panel 80 and a rear panel 82, hinged together by the hinge 78. The front panel 80 and the rear panel 82 are of identical shapes and are symmetrical about a median transverse axis of the mat 34, 36. As illustrated in Figure 4A, the front panel 80 is thus movable above or below of the plane of the rear panel 82, by rotation around the hinge 78. The different interior design possibilities of the vehicle shown in Figures 1 to 3 will now be described.
When a user of the vehicle wishes to use the motor vehicle with shoes soiled with solid and / or liquid residues, he initially places the mats 34, 36 in the configuration of collection of residues. In this configuration, the appearance face 66 of the mats 34, 36 is disposed against the funds 48 of the housings 38, 40 respectively and is thus protected from possible contamination. The face 66 is then visible and extends the exposed surface 46 of the cabin carpet 32 in the area where the user's feet come into contact with the lining floor covering 10, i.e. the driver side, under the steering wheel (not shown), facing the vehicle control pedals, and the passenger side, under the glove box (not shown). The front panel 80 of the right mat 36 is then disposed against the inclined front region 54 of the bottom 48. The rear panel 82 of this mat is disposed on the flat rear region 52 of the bottom 48, so that the mat 40 is pressed against the bottom 48 not planar on its entire surface. A sufficient structural rigidity is preserved for the mat 34, 36 and a surface continuity is ensured between the exposed surface 46 of the cabin carpet and the face 66 of residue collection of the mat 34, 36. The face 66 being visible, the Solid residues such as earth and gravel and liquid residues are collected in the collection receptacle 68 which opens opposite the shoes of the user. When the user leaves the vehicle, he can extract the mats 34, 36 from the vehicle to clean their collection faces 66. Under normal conditions of use, when the shoes of the user are clean, the user returns the mats 34, 36, by rotating them around their median transverse axis, so that their collection face 66 is applied against the bottom 48 of a housing 38, 40 associated. In this configuration, the waste collection receptacle 68 is returned to the housing 38, 40. In addition, the aspect face 60 is visible and extends the exposed surface 46 of the cabin carpet 32. For this purpose, the aspect face 60 is flush with a peripheral region of the exposed surface 46 delimiting the housing 38, 40, so that continuity of appearance is achieved.
The rich density of the carpet present on the textile-like layer of the mat 34, 36 makes it possible to reduce the density of carpet on the exposed surface 46 of the cabin carpet 32, in order to reduce the overall cost of the floor covering 10, without significantly deteriorating its aesthetic appearance.
In addition, the mats 34, 36 being symmetrical with respect to their median transverse axis, each mat 34, 36 can be placed indifferently in the same housing 38, 40 in its active configuration for collecting residues or in its rest configuration, by preserving the continuity of appearance by folding the mat 34, 36 along the hinges 78.
In the rest configuration, the peripheral flange 72 of the mat 34, 36 is placed in abutment on the bottom 48. The peripheral flange 72 is also applied against the lateral edge 50 to wedge transversely and longitudinally the mat 34, 36 in 38, 40. The presence of reversible mats 34, 36 provides an internal floor covering 10 provided with means 68 for collecting solid and / or liquid residues which increases the possibilities of interior layout of the vehicle. This ensures the collection of residues when necessary, without diminishing the aesthetic appearance of the vehicle, nor hindering the user of the vehicle when such collection is not required.
The example described here provides that one of the mats, preferably that of the passenger and therefore the corresponding housing back on a sloped, while the mat, a priori that of the driver is only flat. Alternatively, the two mats each have a front panel rising articulated to a rear panel. According to another variant, the two mats are flat and have no front panels up. Floor coverings incorporating a reversible mattress received in a housing are advantageously used in several places in the vehicle and in particular in the rear passenger seats and in the trunk. According to another variant, the mat includes a heat resistant heater and the vehicle and the mat have additional electrical connection means for supplying the resistor.
