Abstract

The invention relates to a boot bottom arrangement (3) for a motor vehicle. The boot bottom arrangement (3) comprises a carpet support (7), a boot soundproofing element (8) and at least one fixing member (9). The carpet support (7) comprises at least one fixing housing (70). The trunk soundproofing element (8) comprises an end flap (83) in which at least one opening (80) is located opposite the fixing housing(s) (70) and the fixing member (9) is engaged through one of the openings (80) of the trunk soundproofing element (8) and one of the fixing housings (70). Description

Trunk arrangement for a motor vehicle

The technical context of the present invention is that of motor vehicles, and more particularly motor vehicle trunk arrangements. More particularly, the invention relates to a boot bottom arrangement for a motor vehicle.

In the state of the art, we know from document DE19739092 motor vehicle boot arrangements comprising a fixing rail fixed to the floor of the motor vehicle and serving as a fixing element for a boot carpet. For this, the fixing rail is first fixed by screws to the vehicle floor and then the boot carpet is inserted into a groove provided on the fixing rail and is fixed, in a removable manner, in the fixing rail by pinch. The boot carpet then makes it possible to cover the floor of the boot while being positioned correctly in relation to the walls which surround it. The boot carpet can be removed by the user by pulling it in the opposite direction to that of insertion into the fixing rail.

The disadvantage of this motor vehicle trunk arrangement is that the fixing rail is always visible and cannot be removed by the user in order to enlarge the volume of the trunk. And even if the user were to unscrew the fixing rail, the boot carpet would no longer be maintained. If the user wishes to remove the boot carpet to increase the volume of the boot, he would not be able to do without this fixing rail arranged projecting from the floor of the motor vehicle. Another disadvantage of this motor vehicle boot arrangement is that the boot carpet is insufficiently fixed with respect to a stress exerted in a direction opposite to that of insertion into the fixing rail. In addition, this storage arrangement does not offer a solution for maintaining the carpet under the seat.

The carpet under the seat and the boot carpet are directly used by the user, it is therefore necessary to provide robustness in relation to the floor of the motor vehicle. In addition, it is important to provide a solution that allows the user to increase the volume of his boot, without protruding objects and without altering the attachment of the boot carpet and, when present, of the carpet under the seat.

The object of the present invention is to propose a new trunk arrangement in order to at least largely respond to the above problems and to lead in addition to other advantages.

Another object of the invention is to propose a motor vehicle trunk arrangement which is configured to limit the number of operations necessary for its assembly, so as to optimize the production time of said motor vehicle trunk arrangement.

Another object of the invention is to provide a motor vehicle trunk arrangement which is universal and configured to adapt to different motor vehicles.

Another object of the invention is to provide a simple motor vehicle trunk arrangement, both from the point of view of its implementation and from the point of view of its manufacture.

Another object of the invention is to provide a motor vehicle trunk arrangement which is inexpensive, so as to limit the cost of such a motor vehicle trunk arrangement compared to existing motor vehicle trunk arrangements.

Another object of the invention is to provide a space-saving motor vehicle trunk arrangement, guaranteeing the compactness and lightness of the motor vehicle.

According to a first aspect of the invention, at least one of the aforementioned objectives is achieved with a trunk bottom arrangement for a motor vehicle, the trunk bottom arrangement comprising a carpet support taking the form of a prismatic extending longitudinally and comprising at least one fixing housing; a boot soundproofing element intended to form a floor of a boot of the motor vehicle, the boot soundproofing element comprising an end flap comprising at least one slot located opposite the at least one fixing housing; at least one fixing member engaged through the at least one opening of the boot soundproofing element and collaborating by engagement of complementary shapes with the at least one fixing housing.

Such a boot floor arrangement therefore allows correct indexing of the boot soundproofing element, adequate fixing resistant to any stress, and avoids any acoustic leakage.

Such a trunk bottom arrangement makes it possible to fix the trunk soundproofing element in a robust manner making it possible to withstand any stress exerted in any direction, while ensuring correct positioning, that is to say indexing , of the soundproofing element with respect to the walls defining the trunk of the motor vehicle. By correct positioning, it is understood that the boot soundproofing element covers the floor of the motor vehicle without forming folds and possibly without leaving any visible part of the boot floor.

In the trunk bottom arrangement in accordance with the first aspect of the invention, the prismatic bearing surface is of elongated parallelepiped shape.

The trunk bottom arrangement in accordance with the first aspect of the invention advantageously comprises at least one of the improvements below, the technical characteristics forming these improvements being able to be taken alone or in combination:

– the at least one fixing housing is a blind cavity formed in the mat support;

– the boot soundproofing element comprises a soundproofing material, such as for example felt or foam;

– the boot soundproofing element includes a shaped fitting to accommodate a spare wheel;

- When the carpet support comprises a single fixing housing, then the boot soundproofing element comprises a single light located opposite the fixing housing, the boot bottom arrangement comprising a single fixing member engaged through of the light and into the mounting slot.

– When the carpet support comprises a plurality of fixing housings, then the trunk soundproofing element comprises a plurality of lights, each light being located opposite one of the fixing housings, the bottom arrangement of trunk comprising a plurality of fixing members, each fixing member being engaged through one of the slots and in one of the indexing housings.

– When the belt support comprises a plurality of indexing housings, then the indexing housings are distributed longitudinally along the prismatic bearing surface, preferably regularly distributed, a distance between two indexing housings being constant. In the case where the carpet support comprises a plurality of indexing housings, the indexing housings are preferentially aligned.

– When the mat support comprises a plurality of indexing housings, then the openings of the soundproofing element of the boot are distributed longitudinally along the prismatic bearing surface, preferably regularly distributed, a distance between two openings being constant. Preferably, the constant is equal to the constant separating two fixing housings. When the carpet support comprises a plurality of indexing housings, then the slots are preferentially aligned.

- The trunk bottom arrangement includes a carpet under the seat intended to be placed under the seats of the motor vehicle, the carpet under the seat comprising a flap overlapping or being covered by the terminal flap of the trunk soundproofing element, the section of the under-seat mat comprising at least one opening located opposite the at least one opening of the boot soundproofing element.

– The under-seat mat is intended to be placed under the rear seats.

– When the carpet support has a single fixing housing, then the under-seat carpet has a single opening located opposite the light of the boot soundproofing element, so that the single fixing member is simultaneously engaged in the fixing housing, through the lumen and the opening.

– When the carpet support comprises a plurality of fixing housings, then the under-seat carpet comprises a plurality of openings, each opening being located opposite one of the openings of the boot soundproofing element, so that each fixing member is simultaneously engaged in one of the indexing housings and through one of the slots and one of the openings.

– When the carpet support comprises a plurality of indexing housings, then the openings are distributed longitudinally along the side of the under-seat carpet, preferably evenly distributed, a distance between two openings being constant. Preferably, the constant is equal to the constant separating two fixing housings. When the mat backing comprises a plurality of fixing housings, the openings are preferentially aligned.

– Each at least one fastener is formed by a pin. Such a pin is removably mounted in the fixing housing which is dedicated to it.

– The pawn is of the type of a fir tree clip. Such a pawn makes it possible to maintain a substantially flat surface on its surface, allowing an object to slide over it.

– Preferably, the bottom of the boot arrangement comprises three fixing slots provided in the carpet support, three lights provided in the soundproofing element of the boot, three openings provided in the under-seat carpet and three fixing devices. When the three fixing housings, the three slots and the three openings are vertically aligned, they respectively define three spaces in which the three fixing devices are inserted.

– The boot bottom arrangement comprises a boot bottom trim comprising at least one fixing finger configured to collaborate with the at least one fixing housing of the carpet support, each at least one fixing finger of the trunk bottom forming the at least one fixing member. Such a fixing finger is removably mounted in the fixing housing which is dedicated to it. Such a trunk bottom arrangement makes it possible to propose a means of retaining the trunk soundproofing element and the under-seat carpet, when the user removes the trunk bottom trim temporarily from his motor vehicle in order to obtain a larger load volume. In addition, the possibility of removing the boot base trim ensures that the user does not have any projecting elements in the boot, making it easier to place and slide objects to be transported in the boot. Replacing the bottom of the boot trim, i.e. the fixing fingers, with a removable fixing element, also makes it possible not to leave any slices of material visible in order to ensure a satisfactory aesthetic result, while ensuring resistance to any stress exerted on the boot soundproofing element and on the under-seat mat. In other words, the presence of one or more fastening members therefore prevents the boot soundproofing element and the under-seat carpet from being pulled out of the stack made on the carpet support and thus prevents any risk of visibility of a slice of material (most often white) which would degrade the aesthetic quality if it is visible in this boot area which is generally dark. When refitting the bottom of the boot trim, the user will remove the fixing devices from the fixing housings and then put the bottom of the boot trim back in place, making the fixing fingers work together with the housings of the fixation.

– The end flap of the boot soundproofing element is located in an intermediate position between the carpet support and the boot bottom trim, each at least one boot bottom trim fixing finger passing through one of the at least one light of the boot soundproofing element and collaborating with one of the at least one carpet support mounting housing.

– The section of the under-seat carpet is located in an intermediate position between the carpet support and the boot floor trim, each at least one boot floor trim fixing finger passing through one of the at least one opening of the under-seat carpet and collaborating with one of the at least one fixing housing of the carpet support.

According to a second aspect of the invention, there is proposed a motor vehicle comprising a trunk located behind the seats of the motor vehicle, the motor vehicle comprising a trunk bottom arrangement in accordance with the first aspect of the invention or according to one any of its improvements, the trunk bottom arrangement delimiting a front edge of the trunk.

In the motor vehicle according to the second aspect of the invention, the trunk is located behind the rear seats of the motor vehicle.

In the motor vehicle according to the second aspect of the invention, the trunk bottom arrangement according to the first aspect of the invention or according to any one of its improvements comprises a carpet support fixed to the motor vehicle. The carpet support is fixed to the body structure of the motor vehicle by two fixing elements. These fastening elements can be screws, nuts, clips or any other fastening means allowing the maintenance of the mat support to the body structure. The fasteners are disposed on a bottom flap of the mat backing. The lower flap is not located in the same vertical plane as the upper face. Seen from above, the fixing elements are in regular offset, or quincunx, with respect to the fixing housings.

In the motor vehicle according to the second aspect of the invention, the trunk bottom arrangement according to the first aspect of the invention or according to any one of its improvements comprises a carpet support fixed to the motor vehicle so that the The main axis of elongation of the carpet support is perpendicular to the axis of advancement of the motor vehicle.

Various embodiments of the invention are provided, integrating according to all of their possible combinations the various optional characteristics set out here.

Of course, the characteristics, the variants and the different embodiments of the invention can be associated with each other, according to various combinations, insofar as they are not incompatible or exclusive of each other. In particular, variants of the invention may be imagined comprising only a selection of characteristics described below in isolation from the other characteristics described, if this selection of characteristics is sufficient to confer a technical advantage or to differentiate the invention from to the state of the prior art.

In particular, all the variants and all the embodiments described can be combined with each other if nothing prevents this combination from a technical point of view.

For this only, illustrating the bottom arrangement of the trunk 3 mounted in the trunk 2 of the motor vehicle 1, a frame of reference comprising an axis x1, an axis y1 and a vertical axis z is defined. The axis x1 corresponds to the trajectory of the motor vehicle 1 when it is in forward motion, in a straight line and on a flat road. The x1 axis corresponds to a direction running from the rear to the front of the motor vehicle 1, and it is oriented from the rear to the front of the motor vehicle 1. The y1 axis corresponds to the axis around which the wheels of the motor vehicle 1 rotate, and the direction of the axis y1 is oriented from the driver's side to the passenger's side, in the non-Anglo-Saxon standard. The vertical axis z is an axis perpendicular simultaneously to the axes x1 and y1 and is oriented from the floor of the motor vehicle 1 towards its roof or parallel to gravity and oriented in the opposite direction relative to it.

Thus, the trunk 2 is located behind the rear seats 4 of the motor vehicle 1, along the axis x1. Of course, the invention can also be fitted to motor vehicles 1 comprising only front seats 5, in this case, the trunk 2 is located behind the front seats 5, along the axis x1. The trunk 2 is accessible by a tailgate 2a, the user positioning himself at the rear of the motor vehicle 1 to access the trunk 2. In this configuration, a front edge of the trunk 2 is defined located as close as possible to the tailgate 2a and a boot bottom 2 located closest to the seats 4, 5. The boot bottom arrangement 3 is therefore delimited by the front edge and the bottom of the boot 2. We also define a transverse direction parallel to the transverse axis y, and the adjectives "lateral" or "transverse" refer to this reference direction. A vertical direction parallel to the vertical axis z is also defined, and the adjectives “upper”, “lower”, “above”, “below”, refer to this reference direction.

The shows a trunk bottom arrangement 3 for a motor vehicle 1 in accordance with the first aspect of the invention. The boot bottom arrangement 3 comprises a carpet support 7 taking the form of a prismatic bearing surface, extending longitudinally along the longitudinal axis x. In other words, the carpet support 7 has a direction of elongation parallel to the longitudinal axis x. By prismatic span is meant an elongated parallelepiped shape, for example taking the form of a beam. Generally, the carpet backing 7 is a plastic part obtained by injection or the carpet backing 7 can be made of expanded polypropylene.

The carpet support 7 is delimited by at least six faces, four side faces and two end faces 72. Among the side faces 71, there is a flat upper face 73 in which is provided one or more fixing housings 70. More specifically, the carpet support 7 illustrated comprises three fixing housings 70 distributed uniformly along the upper face 73, that is to say along the longitudinal axis x, being aligned with each other.

The fixing housing 70 is in the form of a cavity formed inside the mat support 7, starting from the upper face 73. Preferably, the cavity forming the fixing housing 70 is blind, it is that is to say that it does not lead to another face 71, 72 of the carpet support 7. The fixing housing 70 makes it possible to provide a fixing location for the other elements constituting the trunk bottom arrangement 3 and also allows indexing of all of these elements in order to ensure their correct position in the motor vehicle 1.

The bottom arrangement of the trunk 3 for motor vehicle 1 comprises a trunk soundproofing element 8 intended to cover the floor of the trunk 2 of the motor vehicle 1, thus forming a kind of trunk carpet. The trunk soundproofing element 8 extends longitudinally from the carpet support 7 and is intended to extend transversely to the front edge of the trunk 2 as well as laterally to the side walls 6 of the trunk 2.

The trunk soundproofing element 8 comprises an end flap 83 intended to cover the carpet support 7 and a part 81 providing soundproofing so as to reduce noise coming from the underbody elements, that is to say located under the floor of the trunk 2. In order to ensure its function, the trunk soundproofing element 8 is made, for example, of felt or foam or any other element making it possible to reduce noise. The soundproofing element has a thickness of approximately 5 centimeters, in its part 81 providing soundproofing.

It should be noted that the terminal flap 83 has a reduced thickness compared to the part 81 providing soundproofing, in order to facilitate its deformation to best match the shape of the carpet support 7, to facilitate its attachment to the carpet support 7 and to limit the bulk in this fixing zone.

Depending on the model of motor vehicle 1, depending on the presence or absence of a spare wheel, the trunk soundproofing element 8 can be fitted with a fitting 82 allowing access to this spare wheel. spare resting on the trunk bottom soundproofing element 8. The end flap 83 is intended to cover the upper face 73 of the carpet support 7. The end flap 83 comprises at least one slot 80 located opposite at least one of the fixing housings 70. More specifically, the end flap 83 comprises as many slots 80 as there are fixing slots 70 and the slots are distributed in the same way in order to collaborate with the fixing slots 70 of the mat support 2. In other words, each slot 80 of the terminal flap 83 is intended to come opposite the fixing housing 70, which is dedicated to it.

The trunk bottom arrangement 3 for a motor vehicle 1 comprises one or more fixing members 9, each engaged through one of the openings 80 of the trunk soundproofing element 8 and collaborating by engagement of complementary shapes with the fixing housing 70, which is associated with it.

The fixing member 9 passes through the entire thickness of the end flap 83, passing through the slot 80 and is fixed in the fixing housing 70, so as to hold together the soundproofing element 8 and the mat backing. 7. Of course, the fixing member 9 can take various forms as long as its fixing function is ensured.

The fixing member 9 is removable, in the sense that a user can unscrew it or take it out of the fixing housing 70 to separate the trunk soundproofing element 8 from the carpet support 7. The fixing offered by the fixing member 9 makes it possible to fix the trunk soundproofing element 8 in a robust manner making it possible to withstand any stress exerted in any direction, while ensuring correct positioning, that is to say indexing, of the soundproofing element 8 relative to the walls defining the trunk 2 of the motor vehicle 1.

It is understood that, when the carpet support 7 comprises a single fixing housing 70, then the trunk soundproofing element 8 comprises a single light 80 located opposite the fixing housing 70, and that the bottom arrangement of trunk 3 then comprises a single fixing member 9 engaged through the slot 80 and the fixing housing 70. In the case where the carpet support 7 comprises a plurality of fixing housings 70, then the soundproofing element of boot 8 comprises a plurality of slots 80, each slot 80 being located opposite one of the fixing housings 7, the bottom arrangement of the boot 3 comprising a plurality of fixing members 9, each fixing member 9 being engaged through one of the slots 80 and in one of the fixing housings.

In the case where the mat backing 7 comprises a plurality of fixing housings 70, then the fixing housings 70 are distributed longitudinally along the mat backing 7, that is to say along the prismatic span, according to the longitudinal axis x. The fixing housings 70 are preferably regularly distributed, that is to say that a distance D between two fixing housings 70 is constant. In the case where the carpet backing 7 comprises a plurality of fixing housings 70, it is also preferred that the fixing housings 70 are aligned with each other, along the longitudinal axis x.

In the same way, in the case where the end flap 83 comprises a plurality of slots 80, then the slots 80 are distributed longitudinally along the end flap 83, that is to say along the longitudinal axis x. The slots 80 are preferably regularly distributed, that is to say that a distance D between two slots 80 is constant, this constant being equal to the constant D separating two adjacent fixing housings 70. In the case where the end flap 83 comprises a plurality of slots 80, it is also preferred that the slots 80 are aligned with each other, along the longitudinal axis x.

The carpet support 7, visible in , is fixed to the body structure 100 of the motor vehicle 1 by two fixing elements 74. These fixing elements 74 can be screws, nuts, clips or any other fixing means allowing the carpet support 7 to be held in place. the body structure 100. The fixing elements 74 are arranged on a lower flap 75 of the carpet support 7. The lower flap 75 is not located in the same vertical plane as the upper face 73.

It should be noted that, seen from above, the fixing elements 74 are in regular offset, or quincunx, with respect to the fixing housings 70. In the example illustrated, the mat support 7 comprises three fixing housings 70 regularly distributed and aligned along the upper face 73. More precisely, two adjacent fixing housings 70 are separated from each other by a distance D. The carpet support 7 comprises two fixing elements 74 aligned along the flap lower 75 and separated from each other by the distance D. In projection, the fixing elements 74 are located at a distance D/2 of the fixing housings 70. This distribution makes it possible to ensure a balanced distribution forces, in particular when the elements fixed to the mat support 7 are stressed. Of course, there are other possibilities for best distributing the forces applied to the mat support 7 and this particular example is not intended to be a limiting example of the invention.

In the example illustrated, the positioning of the mat support 7 relative to the motor vehicle 1 is such that the main axis of elongation x of the mat support is perpendicular to the axis of advancement x1 of the motor vehicle 1.

The shows an example of a variant embodiment, in which the boot bottom arrangement 3 comprises an under-seat mat 10 intended to be placed under the seats 4, 5 of the motor vehicle 1. Preferably, the under-seat mat 10 is intended to be placed under the rear seats 4 of the motor vehicle 1.

The under-seat carpet 10 has a soundproofing material on the reverse, that is to say on the part coming into contact with the floor of the motor vehicle 1 and provides an acoustic function. On the right side, the under-seat mat 10 has carpet, that is to say on its aspect face directly visible by the user.

The under-seat carpet 10 comprises a section 11 overlapping the end flap 83 of the boot soundproofing element 8 or being covered by the end flap 83. In the example illustrated in , the panel 11 covers the end flap 83. In all cases, the panel 11 of the under-seat carpet 10 covers the carpet support 7 and in particular the upper face 73 of the carpet support 7. The fact of overlapping the element trunk soundproofing 8 and the under-seat carpet 10 on the carpet support 7 ensures that no acoustic leaks appear. Acoustic leakage could be detrimental to user comfort.

The panel 11 of the under-seat mat 10 comprises one or more screws 12, each located opposite one of the openings 80 of the trunk soundproofing element 8 and therefore of the fixing housing 70. In other words, the openings 12 of the under-seat carpet 10, the openings 80 of the boot soundproofing element 8 and the fixing housings 70 of the carpet support 7 are aligned vertically with respect to each other, so that for an opening 12, a light 80 and a fixing housing 70 given in vertical alignment, a fixing member 9 can pass through them simultaneously in order to secure them to the mat support 7.

Thus, when the carpet support 7 comprises a single fixing housing 70, then the under-seat carpet 10 comprises a single opening 12 located opposite the single slot 80 of the boot soundproofing element 8, so that the single fixing member 9 is simultaneously engaged in the fixing housing 70, through the slot 80 and the opening 12.

This invention makes it possible to propose a means of retaining the trunk soundproofing element 8 and the under-seat carpet 10, when the user removes the trunk bottom lining 15 temporarily from his motor vehicle 1 in order to obtain a larger loading volume. In addition, the possibility of removing the boot bottom lining 15 ensures that the user does not have any projecting elements in the boot 2, making it easier to place and slide the objects to be transported in the boot 2.

The replacement of the boot bottom lining 15, that is to say the fixing fingers 150, by a removable fixing element, also makes it possible not to leave any slice of material visible in order to ensure a satisfactory aesthetic rendering. , while ensuring resistance to any stress exerted on the trunk soundproofing element 8 and on the under-seat carpet 10. In other words, the presence of one or more fasteners 9 therefore prevents the the trunk soundproofing element 8 and the under-seat carpet 10 from pulling out of the stack made on the carpet support 7 and thus preventing any risk of visibility of a slice of material (most often white) which would degrade the aesthetic quality if visible in this trunk 2 area which is usually dark.

The present invention therefore ensures correct indexing of the boot soundproofing element 8 and of the under-seat mat 10, adequate fixing resistant to any stress, and avoids any acoustic leakage.
