Abstract
Description
-1- 2892942-1- 2892942
The present invention relates to the field of sports equipment, comprising a footwear element, including in-line skates, whether roller skate or ice skate. It relates more particularly to a sports equipment of this type, wherein the footwear element is fixed on a frame and has its length which is adjustable according to the size of the foot of the user. As sports equipment type online skate, it comprises a frame under which is mounted either a series of wheels for a roller skate or a blade for an ice skate . On this frame must be fixed the footwear element accommodating the foot of the user. It is important that there be a match between the dimension of the face of the frame supporting said footwear element and the size of the latter.
The most radical solution for a perfect match between the size of the frame and the size of the footwear is the integration in the shoe of a shoe having a determined size which is rigidly fixed on the frame . To satisfy all users, it is therefore necessary to provide them with a complete range of pads corresponding to all sizes of shoes. The user therefore has no possibility of adjustment in length of his shoe. If the user is a young whose foot size is changing rapidly, this impossibility of length adjustment becomes a major drawback. In addition it is possible to lend or give up his skate to a person strictly the corresponding size.
Among all the solutions proposed, one consists in bringing back on the chassis a footwear element comprising a boot and a shell, which comprises a rear part and a front part able to be displaced relative to each other and relative to each other. to the chassis, the pad having removable locking means for securing the one and / or the other front or rear portion of the shell to the frame in a position determined 2892942 corresponding to the size of the foot of the user. Solutions of this type are described in particular in documents EP.1.066.862 and US.2003 / 0020245A1. In the document EP.1.066.862, the access to the adjustment system in 5 length is made from the inside of the front part with the aid of a tool for loosening and tightening a locking screw in the position of the front part relative to the rear part, this screw being mounted in a threaded hole formed in the upper face of the frame. In US.2003 / 0020245A1, the adjustment system in length is accessible by a lateral locking lever located under the front part, at the frame. This lever makes it possible to bring together two lateral wings formed under the front part, lateral wings which extend on either side of the frame. The lever is mounted at the end of a rod passing through the two lateral wings and the frame, through an oblong slot. It is thus possible, during the adjustment in length, to move the rod and the lever, supported by the front part, inside the light formed in the frame. Once the front portion has the desired position, it is sufficient for the user to operate the lever so as to obtain the application of the two lateral wings against the outer side faces of the frame. This locking in position is further improved by forming on the facing faces of the lateral wings and the frame complementary vertical grooves. This latter solution has the advantage of good accessibility of the adjustment system by the user. However, it is a solution whose manufacture remains complex, which requires a particular arrangement of the frame, in particular with the formation of the oblong slot allowing passage over a certain length of the rod terminated by the actuating lever. The presence of this light may constitute an area of weakening of the mechanical strength of the frame. Moreover, the solutions provided to the in-line skates are not necessarily transferable to other sports equipment, comprising a footwear element, and whose chassis structure differs from that of the in-line skate. The object of the present invention is to provide a sports equipment, comprising a footwear element, including an in-line shoe, of adjustable length which is much simpler to manufacture and which does not require intervention on the chassis itself. This is a sports equipment that includes, in known manner: a) a boot for placing the foot of the user, b) a frame, 10 c) a shell for the placement of the shoe, which is fixed on the chassis and which has a front part. Typically, according to the present invention, the shell being preferably monobloc, the front portion is rigidly fixed to the frame and has a front opening. In addition the equipment includes a tip cup 15 for the placement of the front end of the liner which is placed partially inside the front part of the hull, projecting beyond it, and whose longitudinal positioning by relative to the front part is adjustable depending on the size of the user's foot. Finally the equipment comprises a locking system operable from an outer face of the front part of the hull, said system having an active position in which it realizes locking in position of the tip cup of said front part and an inactive position wherein the tip cup can be moved longitudinally with respect to said front portion. Thus, according to the particular arrangement of the present invention, when adjusting the length of the equipment according to the size of the user's foot, it is only the tip cup, in which the end is placed. before slipper, which is caused to move longitudinally relative to the hull rigidly fixed to the frame. According to an alternative embodiment, the tip cup comprises, on at least one outer wall, at least one locking means and the front part of the shell comprises, facing said outer wall, at least one light allowing the passage of said blocking means. Thus the locking means supported by the tip cup is accessible to the user, from the outer face of the front portion of the hull. According to an embodiment of this variant, the outer wall of the tip cup on which the locking means is mounted is flexible so that a pressure exerted on said outer wall causes a deformation thereof to pass through. the blocking system from the active position to the inactive position. The front part of the shell may have a tubular configuration with an upper face. In this case the locking system is preferably operable from said upper face. The front part of the hull may comprise only two lateral wings. In this case the locking system preferably comprises at least two locking means, each being operable from the outer face 15 of one of the two lateral wings. According to an alternative embodiment, a blocking means consists of a blocking stud, having a peripheral profile. A succession of lights is formed in the outer wall of the front part of the shell, opposite said pad, each light, materializing a setting position, being shaped in relation to said peripheral profile so that said pad can be blocked there by interlocking, in active position. Thus, in this variant, it is only the particular configuration of the stud and the lights that allows the locking in position of the stud in a specific light, corresponding to the desired adjustment position. According to another variant embodiment, in the inactive position, the outer face of the wall of the tip cup supporting the locking means is distant from the inner face of the wall of the front part of the shell, opposite said means of blocking, said means being adapted to ensure the approximation and the bringing into contact of the two said faces. In this other variant, locking in position of the tip cup with respect to the front part is obtained by actuating the locking means enabling the two faces to be wedged together opposite the tip cup and the front part. . The setting can, in this case, be more refined than in the previous variant. The present invention will be better understood on reading the description 5 which will be made of several exemplary embodiments of an in-line roller skate, generally referred to as a roller, of adjustable length due to the displacement of a tip cup with respect to the front part of a hull rigidly fixed to the chassis, illustrated by the drawing in which: FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a first example of a skid whose front part of the hull is not closed but has only two lateral wings for sliding the tip cup, FIG. 2 is a schematic top view of the pad of FIG. 1; FIG. 3 is a partial perspective view of a second embodiment of FIG. a pad whose front part of the shell has a closed tubular configuration for sliding of the tip cup, the latter being equipped with an interlocking block in a succession of lumens There is shown in Fig. 4 a partial representation of a third embodiment which differs from the second example in the structure of its blocking means. The present invention relates to a sports equipment that includes a footwear element, mounted on a frame, said equipment being designed to be adjustable according to the length of the foot of the user. It may be an in-line skate, namely a roller skate called roller skating or an ice skate, but also a roller skate with two front wheels and two rear wheels, called quad skate, or equipment for gliding sports, snow or water, for which the frame is constituted by the board or the gliding support. In the detailed examples which will be described hereinafter, rollers are mentioned but this is of course not exclusive to the present invention. The shoe 1 comprises a frame 2 under which is mounted a set of four wheels 3, aligned longitudinally. The frame 2 supports a footwear element which in this case consists of a liner, not shown, in which the user places his foot and a shell 4 which is rigidly fixed to the frame 2 and inside which is arranged the slipper. In the example illustrated in FIG. 1, the shell 4 is of the one-piece type, made by injection of a thermoplastic material. This is of course not exclusive to the present invention, any other structure or any other embodiment of the shell 4 may be suitable. The shell 4 has a rear portion 5 for the placement of the heel and an upper portion 6 for locking the ankle. It also comprises a front part 7, which, according to the invention, is able to receive, slidably, a tip cup 8 protruding from the front opening of said front portion 7. In the embodiment which is 1 and 2, the front portion 7 has a U-shaped cross-section, with two lateral wings 9 surmounting the base of the U which is in line with the base of the rear portion 5, which base serves for the fixing the shell 4 on the frame 2. In each side wing 9 of the front portion 7 is formed a succession of lights 10, having a given peripheral profile. More specifically, in the illustrated example, it is a single longitudinal light 11, the contour of which is shaped as a succession of the same peripheral profile. More precisely, it is a succession of four same peripheral profiles, corresponding to four adjustment positions in length. The tip cup 8 is intended to accommodate the front end of the liner. It can adopt, in this example, four different positions with respect to the front portion 7, each position corresponding to a particular setting depending on the size of the foot of the user. 7 2892942 The tip cup 8 has externally, on its two side walls 13, two locking studs 12 having a peripheral profile which corresponds to that of a play-free light 10 allowing it to fit into said light 10. In the figure 1, there are four adjustment positions corresponding to two minimum and maximum extreme positions and two minimum and maximum intermediate positions. In FIG. 1, the tip cup 8 is adjusted to the minimum intermediate position, the locking stud 12 being fitted into the second lumen 10, starting from the upstream end of the front portion 7 of the shell 4. The peripheral profile of the stud 12 and therefore the lights 10 is substantially circular, with two diametrically opposite protrusions, in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the shoe 1. Thus once the stud 12 fitted into one of the four lights 10, it can not go out of said light even in the case of longitudinal force exerted on the tip cup 8. Of course this profile is not exclusive, any other peripheral profile that can be adopted, as long as it opposes the free sliding of the piece 12 for the introduction and for the sliding of the tip cup 8 with respect to the front part 7 of the shell 4, it is appropriate that the blocking stud 12 can be inserted, interlocking, into one of the slots 10. This can be achieved in different ways. If the blocking stud 12 is integrated with the tip cup 8, in particular during its manufacture by injection, the easiest way to obtain this penetration lies in the flexibility of the lateral wings 9 of the front part 7 or the walls. laterally 25 13 of the tip cup 8, supporting the blocking pads 12. This flexibility must allow, by exerting traction on the side flange 9 or pressure on the side wall 13 to achieve a certain spacing between the side wing 9 and the side wall 13 so that the locking stud 12 can be displaced in said spacing. Of course it may be a combined flexibility of the side wing 9 and the side wall 13 of the tip cup 8. This flexibility can be obtained or improved for example by locally reducing the thickness of the said wall and / or delimiting the flexible portion by slots formed in the wall. Although this is not shown in the figures, the liner, whose front end is threaded into the tip cup 8, is locked in position 5 in the shell 4 by conventional means, for example straps at its level. rear portion 5 and a closure tab 14 at its upper portion 6. In the second example, illustrated in Figure 3, the front portion 15 of the shell has a tubular configuration, with two side walls 16 and a top wall 10 17, delimiting with the base 18 a front opening 19, through which exceeds the tip cup 20. The same locking system is found, in the adjustment position, with the longitudinal slot 21 whose contour is shaped as a succession of lights 22, having the same peripheral profile as that of the block 23 block 23. The longitudinal lumen 21 is, in this second example, made in the upper wall 17 of the front part 15, while the blocking stud 23 is formed on the upper wall 24 of the tip cup 20. In FIG. pad is in its adjustment position corresponding to the size of the largest foot, the blocking stud 23 being in the slot 22 further downstream of the front portion 15. The third embodiment which is illustrated in Figure 4 differs from this second example by the locking system which avoids having to deform one or other of the walls of the front part or the cup to allow the introduction of said cup in the front part and their relative displacement when adjusting the adjustment position. In this example, in the inactive position, the outer face of the upper wall 28 of the tip cup 29 which supports the locking means is spaced from the inner face 25a of the upper wall 25 of the front portion 26 of the hull which is opposite said locking means so as to allow free sliding of the tip cup 29 with respect to the front portion 26, without requiring deformation by the user of either the tip cup 29 or the front portion 26 to move from one setting position to another. In this example, the upper wall 25 of the front portion 26 has an oblong slot 27 while the upper portion 28 of the tip cup 29 includes a locking system 30 which is composed of a first portion 31, which is fixed rigidly on the outer face of said upper wall 28 and a second portion 32, independent of the first portion 31, which consists of a clamping knob, adapted to cooperate with the first portion 31. More specifically, once the tip cup 29 is introduced into the tubular front portion 26, with the first fixed portion 31 of the locking system passing through the lumen 27, the clamping knob 32 is attached to the fixed portion 31. In the inactive position of the button 32, the cup 29 can move freely inside the front part 26. In the active position of the clamping knob 32, the approximation and the bringing into contact of the two faces opposite the punch cup are obtained. 29 and the front portion 26, making the locking of the tip cup 29 in position relative to the front portion 26. To improve this blocking, it is arranged around the longitudinal slot 27, on the inner face 25a of the wall 25 of the front portion 26 and around the first portion 31 of the locking system, on the outer face 28 of the tip cup 29, transverse grooves, able to interlock into each other in the active position. In the example illustrated in FIG. 4, the first part 31 of the blocking system 30 consists of a part having a profile Omega whose top is fixed on the upper wall 28 of the cup 29 and whose two lateral branches terminated by a shoulder delimit between them a determined space. The clamping knob 32 has a profiled recess for allowing it to fit on the two lateral wings of the first piece 31 and to allow, during its pivoting, engagement under the opposite shoulders of the two lateral wings so that the clamping knob 32 is closer to the upper wall 28 of the tip cup 29. This is the combination that allows to obtain the desired jamming of the 2892942
The presence of the transverse grooves provides a more effective jamming, opposing any longitudinal sliding of the cup 29 relative to the front portion 26.
The pad according to the present invention may comprise means for improving the guiding of the tip cup with respect to the front part. It may in particular be at least one longitudinal groove formed on the underside of the tip cup, in which is slid a longitudinal boss formed on the base of the front portion.
It is understood that the liner must also be able to adjust to the evolution of the size of the user's foot that requires the length adjustment discussed above. Preferably, the front end of the liner, intended to be paved in the tip cup, is in an elastic textile material, able to support this change in length.
11The locking system may comprise a plurality of locking means for improving the stability of the assembly formed by the tip cup and the front portion. For example, in the variant described above and illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, it is possible to provide two locking studs fitting into the same longitudinal slot or, in the variant illustrated in Figure 3, two pads locking interlocking in two longitudinal lumens arranged parallel to the upper face. 11
