Abstract

A manual depilation device using electrical contact to destroy hair comprises a case on which is placed a support (1), provided with a positive conductor cushion (2), associated with a contact current return system for transmitting an electric current to the roots during their passage through the hair, incorporating : (A) a negative conductor contact cushion (3), placed parallel to the rear of the positive conductor cushion and negatively connected; (B) or a metal contact plate, fixed externally on the case and negatively connected.

Description

The present invention relates to a manual device for hair removal by

  electrical contact, which destroys the hair follicle.

  The method according to the invention consists in passing the device over the area to be depilated, diffusing an electric current by electrolysis on the hair to reach its papillae and its root.

  Thanks to this process, the root of the hair is destroyed and its regrowth is considerably slowed down.

  The device to be put in place for carrying out said method comprises a conductive support with metal bearings. This consists of two conductive pads diffusing an electric current. Thus, when the user passes the device over the area to be depilated, the conductive pads which are connected to the internal generator slide on the hair and by contact, transmit the current.

  According to particular embodiments: the support may comprise two pads: a positively connected front pad for the diffusion of the current and a negatively connected rear pad for the return of the current.

  the support may comprise that the front pad connected positively. The current is restored by a metal part negatively connected and fixed on the outer face of the housing, in order to be in contact with the hand.

  In both cases, the resistance of the body is at the same potential as the internal generator and the electrolysis circulates perfectly.

  The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: Figure 1 shows, from above, the device of the invention and Figure 2 shows the sectional view.

  3 shows, seen from above, a variant of this device.

  Referring to the drawings of Figures 1 and 2, the device comprises a conductive support 1 which is fixed on the housing 5, Figure 4. This support 1 is provided with two bearings aligned in parallel. At the front is positioned the 3o positive conductive pad 2 and spaced at the back is positioned the negative conductor back current pad 3.

  FIG. 6 represents, seen from above, the fixing of the support 1 on the housing 5. The latter has on each side, a slide 7 serving for placing and maintaining the support 1.

  FIG. 7 illustrates the perspective view of the support 1. It has a notch on each side to position it on the slideways 7 of the housing 5.

  The pins 4 aligned on each side of the pads are used for fixing the metal coating.

  Figures 8 and 9 specify the identical embodiment of the conductive portion 4-v pads 2 and 3.

  Each pad is covered with a thin metal sheet. The sheets 8 and 9 have small holes aligned at the ends, in the lengthwise direction. They are pressed on the pads 2 and 3 and hung on the pins 4.

  The portion folded at right angles to the end of the sheet, called the contact strip, is placed in a notch of the support, to provide the electrical connection.

  By way of non-limiting example, the pad 2 will have a length of the order of 40 mm and a width of 10 mm, and the pad 3 will have a length of the order of 40 mm and a width of 6 mm.

  FIG. 10 shows, in section, the electrical connection of the positive and negative conductive pads 3. The contact strips are connected to the internal generator 10.

  Figure 11 shows the block diagram of the mechanical and electronic assembly.

  According to the embodiment shown in Figure 3, the support 1 has only the positive conductive pad 2, over its entire width.

  In this case, Figure 5 shows that the metal plate 6, externally fixed on the housing 5, ensures the negative feedback contact of the current.

  1) Manual device for epilation by electrical contact to deteriorate, during passage on the hair, its follicle by electrolysis, characterized in that it comprises a housing 5 on which is placed a support 1, provided with a positive conductive pad 2, associated with a contact current feedback system for transmitting to the root an electric current during their passage over the hair, comprising: a negative contact conductive pad 3, placed parallel behind the pad 2 and connected negatively.   or a metal contact plate 6 fixed externally on the housing 5 and connected negatively.   2) Device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that each conductive pad is covered with a thin metal sheet 8 and 9 hooked on pins 4 and electrically connected to the internal generator.
