Abstract

The nut has a cylindrical body (1a) extended through a head and including an inner threading throughout its length, where the body fixes a threaded end of a spoke (2) by screwing. The head is slit along different axis by defining a set of lips (1d) and radial slits (1e), where the lips are radially deformed by a pressing action in order to be hooked to a material constitutive of the threaded end with respect to the spoke. An independent claim is also included for a method of connecting a threaded end of a spoke of a bicycle through a lock nut.
