Abstract

La présente invention concerne les dispositifs pour aider à la fixation d'un clou centromédullaire dans le canal médullaire d'un os long ou analogue, avec la partie corticale 4 de l'os lorsque le clou est constitué d'un tube 5 comportant un logement en creux 6 et au moins deux orifices 8, 9 respectivement situés sensiblement aux deux extrémités 10, 11 du tube et débouchant dans le logement en creux 6, et lorsque la fixation du clou avec la partie corticale 4 de l'os long s'effectue au moyen de tiges de fixation 14 traversant cette partie corticale et passant dans les orifices 8, 9.Le dispositif se caractérise essentiellement par le fait qu'il comporte une source de lumière 20 apte à émettre un faisceau lumineux 21, et des moyens de guide d'onde 22 pour introduire le faisceau lumineux dans le logement 6 du tube creux 5 jusqu'au niveau au moins de l'un 9 des deux orifices 8, 9.Application à la mise en place d'un clou pour réduire une fracture d'os long comme un fémur ou analogue, ou réaliser un allongement d'un os long, etc.
