Abstract

The pump has a rotor (3) with a part, situated inside a hollow body (2), having same cylindrical section as that of a part situated outside the body. The section corresponds to a nominal diameter of the rotor. The flange (31) disposed outside the body permits to maintain the rotor fixed in translation and has a width of 10 millimeters. The nominal diameter of the rotor is 30 millimeters for a diameter of the body of 60 millimeters. An independent claim is also included for an internal combustion engine including a vacuum pump.
