Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de pare-chocs (1) composé d'une traverse (3) et de deux absorbeurs de choc 2 en métal. Comme dans l'état de la technique, les absorbeurs de choc (2) sont réalisés selon une construction en demi-coques. La traverse (3) peut être composée d'un métal léger ou d'acier. Conformément à l'invention, la traverse (3) est pourvue dans la zone de raccordement de l'absorbeur de choc (2) de moyens de renfort, par exemple une tôle de renforcement (4). La tôle de renforcement (4) est réalisée de préférence en forme de chapeau et entoure la traverse (3) de trois côtés. En outre, elle est vissée directement, dans une bride (40), à l'absorbeur de choc (2) et à la traverse (3). Cet agencement permet d'améliorer la transmission de la force d'un choc à l'absorbeur de choc (2) et, en même temps, de réaliser une économie de poids, car la traverse (3) est plus mince dans son ensemble.
