Abstract

Kit (10) comprises a set of applicators (20) or diffusers, each comprising a tube, a plug of liquid or powder inside the tube and a cosmetic or psychotropic product contained in an internal space of the tube delimited on one side by the plug, where the plug is discharged from the tube together with the product during use. Independent claims are also included for: (1) application of a cometic product by selecting at least one cosmetic product contained in a kit as above and applying the product to an area of the body, face, hair or buccal cavity; (2) application of perfume by selecting at least one fragrance from among many, where the fragrance is contained in an applicator as above, and applying the fragrance; (3) modifying the properties of a cosmetic composition by selecting at least one cosmetic product contained in an applicator as above and using the product to modify the composition; (4) make-up method comprising selecting at least one color from among many, where the color corresponds to a product contained in an applicator as above, applying a stencil to an area of the body or face, and spreading the color(s) through the stencil; (5) creating a personalized cosmetic product by selecting at least two products with different colors, where each product is contained in an applicator as above, and mixing the selected products; (6) kit comprising a set of tubes, each containing a psychotropic product contained in an internal space of the tube delimited on one side by a plug of liquid or powder that is discharged from the tube together with the product during use, where the different psychotropic products are selected to have different effects on the psychological or physical state of an individual who inhales them.

Description

The present invention relates to applicators, in particular for products

  cosmetics and diffusers of psychotropic products, odorous or not, in particular for aromatherapy purposes.

  "Cosmetic product" means a product as defined in Council Directive 5 93/35 / EEC of June 14, 1993, modifying Directive 76/768 / EEC for the sixth time.

  "Psychotropic product" means a product capable of exerting an action on

  an individual's psychological or physical state.

  The present invention aims in particular to allow users to further personalize their perfume, make-up or care.

  It may for example be a matter of giving a perfume an additional olfactory note, of bringing makeup to a shade of color, in order for example to modify the dominant color to best accord it to a given complexion, to a given environment

  or to a particular outfit, or to imitate at best the natural color of the skin.

  The present invention also aims to propose a new kit comprising a

  plurality of applicators of cosmetic products or diffusers of psychotropic products.

  There is also a need to have a make-up or make-up removal kit suitable for people who make up rarely, for example children, or

  having to change makeup during the day.

  US Pat. No. 3,958,571 discloses an applicator comprising a tube comprising a liquid and an application element at one end of the tube. Such an applicator is provided for

  apply a medication such as iodine solution.

  The subject of the invention is, according to a first of its aspects, a cosmetic kit comprising a plurality of applicators or diffusers containing cosmetic or psychotropic products, each applicator or diffuser comprising: - a tube, - a cap of a liquid or powder inside the tube, and - at least one cosmetic or psychotropic product contained in an interior space of the tube delimited on one side by the liquid or powder stopper, this stopper being suitable for evacuate with the product when the latter leaves the interior space of the

tube during use.

  Thanks to the invention, each user can easily have, at a moderate cost, a wide range of products corresponding for example to different scents or to different colors or treatments, which allow them to perfume themselves, to make up or to

  treat it in a more personal way.

  By virtue of its structure, each applicator or diffuser can be suitable for single use, which is favorable from the hygienic point of view and can make it possible to reduce the amount of preservatives used, or even to eliminate preservatives entirely. Each

  applicator or diffuser can be sterile.

  At least two applicators or diffusers of the kit can comprise cosmetic products having different scents, or different colors, for example. At least two products may still contain make-up or hygiene products

  intended for applications or uses in different areas.

  The kit may include at least one housing.

  This box can for example comprise at least one housing which can receive at least one cosmetic product delivered by an applicator, in order for example to allow

  the user to mix products.

  The housing may include a plurality of compartments in which the applicators or diffusers are housed. The housing can for example comprise a plurality of

  compartments each configured to receive a single applicator or diffuser.

  As a variant, the kit may comprise at least one sachet for packaging at least one applicator or diffuser, or even a string of sachets each containing at least one

applicator or diffuser.

  At least one applicator or diffuser can have an indication

  representative of the nature of the product contained inside the tube, for example an alphanumeric sign or a color.

  The volume of product contained in the tube can be for example between

  0.01 and 5 ml, or even between 0.05 ml and 5 ml, better still between 0.05 and 1 ml.

  The interior space in which the product is contained can be delimited by

  second side, opposite the first, by a breakable, removable, perforable or deformable part.

  When the breakable part is broken, the product contained in the interior space of the

  tube can descend by gravity, driving out the plug of liquid or powder.

  The applicator can be arranged in such a way that, after breaking the breakable end, the user can measure the quantity of liquid which descends by manipulating the tube like a pipette, the upper end of which closes the index finger, the tube can be

  tilted more or less, if necessary.

  In an exemplary implementation of the invention, the tube can be capped after only a fraction of the liquid contained therein has descended. This filling can be carried out for example thanks to the breakable end. The latter can be configured for example to be able to constitute a closure cap, the breakable end

  comprising for example a pin capable of engaging in the tube or on the tube to close it.

  The application element or the diffusing element may be wettable by the product

A ceramic, carbon or sintered material nozzle may allow, if necessary, slow combustion by being heated to incandescent.

  The application element can also be a brush, a paint brush or a comb.

  As a variant, the tube may be devoid of an application element and of a diffusing element. The stopper may contain, as indicated above, a liquid and / or a powder. When the stopper comprises a liquid, the latter can be chosen from the group consisting of: mineral oils, fluorinated products, silicones, this list not being

not limiting.

  When the stopper comprises a powder, the latter may comprise organic and / or mineral particles, solid or hollow, which can be chosen, for example, from the group consisting of: powders of microspheres of copolymers such as Expancele (Nobel Industry), Nylone (l'Orgasole), waxes, silicas and silicones, this list is not exhaustive. The tube can be made of a transparent material, in particular a transparent plastic, in order to allow for example the user to observe the level of

product in the tube or its color.

  The tube may comprise a multilayer structure, with at least one layer 10 forming a barrier against air, for example a layer of varnish impermeable to air, at a

solvent at least or anti-UV.

  Another subject of the invention, according to another of its aspects, is a method for applying a cosmetic product, comprising the following steps: selecting at least one cosmetic product contained in at least one applicator from a kit such as defined above, - apply the selected cosmetic product to an area of the body, face, hair or oral cavity, this product possibly being mixed with a

cosmetic composition.

  Another subject of the invention is, according to another of its aspects, a method for perfuming, comprising the following steps: - selecting at least one scent from among several, this scent being contained in an applicator comprising: - a tube, - a stopper of a liquid or a powder inside the tube, and - at least one product corresponding to the selected scent in an interior space of the tube, delimited on one side by the stopper of liquid or powder, this cap being able to evacuate with the product when the latter leaves the interior space of the tube during use,

  - perfume by means of the scent contained in the applicator 30 selected.

  The scent can be selected according to information transmitted by a media, and received for example on a mobile telephone or on a radio or television set. Another subject of the invention is, according to another of its aspects, a method for modifying the properties of a cosmetic composition, comprising the following steps: - selecting at least one cosmetic product having determined properties, contained in an applicator comprising: - a tube, - a stopper of a liquid or a powder inside the tube, and 10 - the cosmetic product being contained in an interior space of the tube delimited on one side by the stopper of liquid or powder, this cap being capable of being discharged with the product when the latter leaves the interior space of the tube during use, - modify, using the selected product, the properties of the

  The properties of the composition can be chosen from the complexion, the content of

  active ingredient, the cleaning power of the composition, this list not being exhaustive.

  Another subject of the invention is, according to another of its aspects, a method for removing makeup from a part of the face or body, comprising the following steps: - selecting a makeup remover, suitable for removing makeup from the part of the face or body , among several make-up removers, this make-up remover being contained in an applicator comprising: - a tube, - a stopper of a liquid or a powder inside the tube, and - at least the selected make-up remover contained in an interior space of the tube, delimited on one side by the liquid or powder cap, this cap being able to be removed with the makeup remover when the latter leaves the interior of the tube during use, - apply the applicator on the part of the face or body. Another subject of the invention is, according to another of its aspects, a make-up process using a stencil, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: - selecting at least one desired color for the makeup among several, this color corresponding to a product contained in an applicator comprising: - a tube, - a stopper of a liquid or a powder, inside the tube, and - at least the product corresponding to the color selected in an interior space of the tube, delimited on one side by the liquid or powder stopper, this stopper being able to evacuate with the product when the latter leaves the interior space of the tube during use, - apply the stencil to an area of the body or face and spread through the stencil the color or colors mixed or not mixed together, in order to obtain the

desired makeup.

  Another subject of the invention is, according to another of its aspects, a process for producing a personalized cosmetic product, in particular a foundation, comprising the following steps: - selecting at least two products having different colors, each of these products being contained in an applicator comprising: - a tube, - a stopper of a liquid or a powder inside the tube, and - a product corresponding to the selected color, this product being contained in a space inside the tube delimited on one side by the liquid or powder stopper, this stopper being capable of evacuating with the product when the latter leaves the interior space of the tube during use,

  - mix the selected products.

  Another subject of the invention is, according to another of its aspects, a kit comprising a plurality of tubes each comprising a psychotropic product contained in a space

  inside the tube, delimited on the first side by a stopper of a liquid or a powder, this stopper being capable of evacuating with the product when the latter leaves the interior space of the tube during use, the different psychotropic products being chosen so as to exert different respective actions on the psychological or physical state of an individual who inhales them.

  In particular, the kit may include odorous products which exert respective relaxing, stimulating, appetite suppressing or smoking cravings, attractive or repellent for other individuals or species, among others. The odorous products can be chosen, for example, from floral essences, in particular citronella, odorous extracts from plants, natural or synthetic odorous molecules, extracts from resins or fossil plants, any odorous substance spontaneously volatile or volatile after mixing with a volatile solvent or during combustion.

  Psychotropic products can also be pheromones, gases.

  The kit may include psychotropic products, odorous or not capable of inducing relaxing effects such as a slowing of the pulse and a reduction in the blood pressure, for example of cedrole which is presumed to act by olfactory route in a small proportion ( 3 to 5 ppb), even if users do not perceive the odor. This can allow

to fight insomnia.

  The subject of the invention is also, independently of the foregoing, a perfume diffuser, characterized in that it comprises a tube containing, in an interior space, a perfumed liquid, this interior space being delimited on a first side by a stopper of a liquid or a powder, this stopper being capable of being discharged with the perfumed liquid when the latter leaves the interior space of the tube during use, this perfume diffuser also comprising at a end of the tube adjacent to the liquid or powder stopper, a diffuser element comprising for example a plurality of petals configured so as to

  be able to absorb the scented liquid when using the diffuser.

  The aforementioned petals can be arranged for example so as to change configuration under the effect of the absorption of the perfumed liquid, in order to simulate for example

  the opening of the petals of a flower.

  These petals can for example contain cellulosic fibers and / or be

covered with polymeric films.

  Each petal can change shape or color for example under the effect of

  weight or impregnation by the liquid with which it is charged or its fractional evaporation.

  The petals can still be linked together by breaking links

  when wetted by the liquid and / or exposed to light or heat.

  Another subject of the invention is a perfume diffuser comprising a tube having an interior space containing a perfumed liquid, this interior space being delimited on one side by a cap of a liquid or a powder, this cap being able to evacuate with the scented liquid when the latter leaves the interior space during use, the tube comprising at one end adjacent to the liquid or powder stopper at least one diffusing element capable of absorbing the liquid contained in the tube during use, this

  diffuser element being arranged to change shape by absorption of the liquid.

  The change in shape may be due, for example, to the action of gravity under the effect of loading the diffusing element with liquid, or else to mechanical stresses which are exerted in different regions of the diffusing element, under the effect of absorption of the liquid, or upon dissolution or wetting of compounds attached to its surface, for example polymers or proteins and / or other compounds, for example in the form

powders.

  The invention will be better understood on reading the detailed description which

FIG. 1 shows a cosmetic kit 10 comprising a housing 11 having a base part 12 and a cover 13 hinged on the base part 12, the face of which

  interior may include a mirror 14, for example.

  The base part 12 comprises, in the example considered, a plurality of

  compartments 15 each receiving a plurality of applicators 20.

  In the example illustrated, all the applicators 20 contained in the same compartment 15 comprise the same cosmetic product, but it could be otherwise

  without departing from the scope of the present invention.

  An indication 17 can be associated with each compartment 15, in order to allow the user to distinguish the compartments from one another. This indication 17 may include

  for example at least one alphanumeric character or a color.

  It can be seen in FIG. 1 that the base part 12 also includes a cup-shaped housing 16, allowing the user to carry out, if desired, a mixture of the 20 products P contained in different applicators or of mix a sample composition

  in a container not shown with product from an applicator.

  FIGS. 2 to 4 show individually an applicator 20.

  This can be, for example, an applicator as described in US Pat. No. 5,702,035. Applicators of this type are sold by the Californian company 25 Swabplus Inc. Each applicator 20 comprises a tube 21 containing the corresponding product P, this tube being, in the example illustrated, produced by extrusion of plastic material and provided at a closed end with a breakable part 22. The latter is covered, in the example considered, by a cotton tip which makes it possible to retain on the rest of the tube the breakable part 30 22 after rupture thereof. The tube 21 is open at the other end, opposite the part

  breakable 22, being provided for example at this end with an application element 23.

  In the example illustrated, the application element 23 includes a cotton tip,

like a cotton swab.

  The product P is contained in an interior space of the tube 21 situated between the breakable part 22 and a plug 24 present in the tube 21, on the side of its open end. This plug 24 can be constituted for example by a liquid. The volume of product P may be suitable for a single use of the applicator, being

  determined according to the nature of the product and the intended application. This volume can vary, for example, between 0.01 ml and 5 ml, better between 0.05 and 1 ml. The outside diameter of the tube 21 is for example less than 6 mm, or even less than approximately 3 mm. The inside diameter of the tube 21 can be between about 0.5 mm and about 3 mm, for example.

  The plug 24 can be constituted by any compatible inert liquid or powder

  with the packaging of product P in tube 21, in particular by any physiologically acceptable material which does not react with product P, in particular not entirely soluble in product P, and capable of being easily evacuated from tube 21 at the time of use.

  The plug 24 makes it possible in particular to isolate the product from the air, to prevent its

  evaporation and external contaminants from entering.

  The liquid of the liquid plug 24 may consist, for example, of a

  mineral oil or a fluorinated product, among others. In the example considered, the liquid stopper 24 is formed of silicone.

  The amount of liquid forming the liquid plug 24 is small compared to

that of the cosmetic product.

  When the breakable part 22 is broken, air can enter the tube 21 from the side

  opposite the open end, which allows the product to flow by gravity into the tube 21 25 and reach the applicator element 23, as illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4.

  Each applicator 20 may include, where appropriate, an indication 25 visible to the user, this indication 25 possibly comprising, for example, an alphanumeric sign or a specific color allowing the user to distinguish the

different applicators between them.

  The product P contained in each applicator 20 can for example be a product

  having a particular scent or shade.

  il Thus, in an exemplary implementation of the invention, the cosmetic kit comprises a plurality of applicators each containing a product having a different scent. The user can use the products contained in the different applicators to compose a personalized perfume. Alternatively, the user can use one of the applicators to add to his usual perfume a particular olfactory note depending on the theme of an evening, for example.

  The user can associate an olfactory note with a color and draw an olfactory path on the skin which persists for a few hours.

  The applicator can, if necessary, be selected according to information

  transmitted remotely, for example by advertising media or by a computer data transmission network, in particular by the Internet, by a radio or television broadcast, by the written press or by messaging on a mobile telephone, as illustrated in FIG. 15 5.

  The selected applicator can for example correspond to the "perfume of the day".

  The products contained in the applicators can still correspond, for

  example, with the different scents of a brand, the kit being offered as a sample.

  In another example of implementation of the invention, the products contained in the different applicators correspond to different colors and the different applicators can be used to modify, for example, the color of a composition

  cosmetic usually used by the user, for example a foundation.

  For the user, for example, it may be best to provide a foundation

  used with the color of its skin, in order to take account for example of the change in the color of the skin under the effect of the sun, or to add pearly or glittery reflections.

  It may also be, for the user, to give a cosmetic product used a predominant chromatic predominance, for example with a view to granting makeup to a

  dress or environment.

  The products contained in the applicators can also be foundations 30 of different colors which the user can mix in order to obtain a foundation of a

  color adapted to his skin color or the situation.

  The products contained in the applicators can also be sun protection products with different indices, for example to protect very localized areas

and particularly sensitive.

  A product contained in an applicator can be used in isolation, for example being applied to the skin by means of the application element 23. A product P contained in an applicator can still be used by being mixed

  to a composition in the housing 16 for example.

  The products from at least two applicators 20 can still be mixed

  in the housing 16 in order to create a particular color.

  One or more applicators 20 can also be used to color a care product, for example in order to make the presence of the latter more difficult to detect

for the environment of the user.

  The applicators can be packaged in various ways without departing from the scope of the present invention, the example of FIG. 1 being non-limiting. By way of example, FIG. 6 shows a box 12 comprising a plurality of housings 18 each receiving a single applicator 20. Such a box can for example contain a series of applicators each containing a perfume from a range or a brand of perfumes, or else a series of applicators or diffusers each containing a flavor intended to be inhaled or used as perfume cold or after combustion. 20 Such flavors may, for example, contain aromaticological extracts with relaxing, stimulating, soothing properties, which can help to stop smoking or to eat less,

  attract or repel other individuals or species.

  FIG. 7 represents a housing 11 without housing 16 but comprising, as for the housing of FIG. 1, compartments 15 each comprising several applicators. The products contained in the applicators may for example be make-up removers, each compartment comprising applicators adapted specifically to the

  removing make-up from a part of the body or the face, for example the eyes, the skin, the nails.

  A kit can include a set of applicators whose products are supposed

  agree together, whether these products are notes of perfume, colors or others.

  FIG. 8 shows a cosmetic kit not comprising a housing, but

  a chain 30 of sachets 31 each containing an applicator 20. The kit may include a stencil such as for example that shown in the

figure

  9, making it possible to produce a particular pattern.

  In the examples which have just been described, the application element is not

  impregnated with product before rupture of the tube 21.

  It is possible, without departing from the scope of the present invention, to use an applicator element 33, as illustrated in FIG. 10, pre-impregnated with a product different from that

contained in tube 21.

  The applicator element 33 can for example be prepreg with a compound

  particulate capable of being dissolved by the product contained in the tube 21.

  The application element can also be pre-impregnated with a liquid, the applicator in this case preferably being packaged in an individual bag 31 hermetically

  closed as illustrated in figure 10.

  The application element can also include a product in the form

  the shape of a layer present on the surface of an application element, as illustrated in FIG. 11.

  In this figure, it can be seen that a cup-shaped support 46 can be fixed to the end of the tube 21, this support carrying a pad 45 of an elastically deformable and porous material, on the surface of which the layer of product to be applied to the skin. The product contained in the tube 21 can be used for example to dissolve a binder which retains the product present on the surface of the pad 45, so as to allow transfer

  the product on the skin to make a tattoo for example.

  When the applicator element has a cotton tip, the latter can

  have various shapes, and in particular a rounded or pointed end, for example in the form of a flame as shown in FIG. 12.

  The application element may have a fork shape as shown in

  Figure 13, for example to allow the gripping of a lock or an eyelash or eyebrow.

  Can be used as an application element other than a cotton tip

  and we will now describe with reference to Figures 14 to 20 other variants 30 of applicators.

  The application element may for example be in the form of a foam tip as illustrated in Figure 14 or a flocked tip as shown in Figure 15. It is seen in this figure that the element application may have an eccentric shape, for example adapted to the nature of the makeup to be produced or to the relief of the region

  of the body or face to which the product is to be applied.

  The application element may also have adhesive and / or abrasive properties, and include a ceramic or a sintered material, for example. The application element may comprise solid particles or any material making it possible to carry out a mechanical peeling or a sanding, for example a mineral powder such as pumice stone, glass, corundum, metal, organic powder, fibers

  of wood or plastic particles.

  The abrasive effect can be used for example to polish the teeth or to treat hyperkeratinized skin, to polish the nails and reduce the cuticles, this list of applications

being nonlimiting.

  The applicator element can also be produced with a tapered shape as shown in FIG. 16, for the application of an eyeliner for example, in the form of a brush as shown in FIG. 17, or under stamp shape with pattern

  decorative, as illustrated in figure 18.

  The application element can also be produced in the form of a comb,

as shown in Figure 19.

  It can be seen in FIG. 20 that the comb can have an internal channel 28 which communicates with the tube 21 so as to allow the product contained in the tube to

  gain at least one orifice 29 made at the base of the teeth.

  In a variant not illustrated, the product outlet orifices can

  lead to the end of the teeth.

  The applicator element can also be produced in the form of a brush 25 produced by injection of plastic material, comprising for example, as illustrated in FIG. 22, a support 41 carrying a plurality of bristles 40 directed radially and, between them on the

  support, orifices 42 for supplying the product.

  The applicator 20 can also be devoid of an application element, such as

shown in Figure 23.

  Such an achievement can be useful especially when the product contained in the

  tube 21 must be deposited in the form of a drop on the surface of the skin, for example.

  We see in this figure that the breakable part can be connected to the rest of the tube by a preferential break zone 27 materialized for example by a thinning of the tube

at this level.

  The breakable part can be produced in various other ways without departing from the scope of the present invention. In particular, as illustrated in FIG. 24, it is possible to configure the applicator so that the breakable part 22 can be entirely separated from the tube 21 after having manually exerted a break movement by holding the tube 21 with one hand and the part

  divisible 22 between two fingers of the other hand.

  The applicator can also be configured so that the breakable part 22 remains integral with the tube 21 after use, as illustrated in FIG. 25, thanks to a bridge

matter 50.

  When the breakable end can be detached completely from the tube, this can facilitate, for example, the use of the applicator in the manner of a pipette, the user being able to close the upper end with his finger to dispense the product, for example

  drop by drop, in the application element.

  The application element can also be replaced by a diffuser element 60,

  intended to diffuse a scent in the air, cold or after combustion.

  This diffusing element can be produced for example by a nozzle produced in a porous, organic or mineral material like the application elements described above or with a more complex shape, for example to imitate a flower bud, comprising petals 70 formed from paper fibers for example, as illustrated

  in Figures 26 to 30, these petals increasing the useful surface of the diffuser.

  The fibers are, before use, bonded together and form a button, as shown in FIG. 26.

  The applicator may for example contain a perfume which, once the breakable part of the applicator is cut, flows and hydrates the fibers. The petals 70 then move away from each other in the manner of an opening flower, as illustrated in FIGS. 27 to 29, and

spread the scent.

  The scent can be colored and color the petals. The dye can also be fixed in a dry form to the petals and reveal or change color when the perfume reaches it. The applicator can then be placed on a support 75, as illustrated in the

figure 30.

  The applicator or diffuser tube may contain one or more products.

  FIG. 31 shows a tube comprising two liquid products P1 and P2 5 in the form of two phases, each occupying a portion of the length of the tube.

  These two phases can have different colors, if necessary.

Kit according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that at least two applicators (20) comprise cosmetic or psychotropic products having different colors.   4. Kit according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises at least one housing (11).   5. Kit comprising a plurality of tubes (21) each comprising a psychotropic product contained in an interior space of the tube delimited on a first side by a   cap of a liquid or a powder (24), this cap being able to escape with the psychotropic product when the latter leaves the interior space of the tube (21) during use, the various psychotropic products being chosen so as to exert different respective actions on the psychological or physical state of an individual who inhales them.   29. Kit according to the preceding claim, characterized in that it comprises psychotropic products exerting respective relaxing actions,   stimulating, suppressing hunger or the desire to smoke.
