Abstract

The barrier (1) consists of a series of individual vertical panels (2) of metal or other rigid material with engaging end lugs (10, 11). Adjacent panels are joined together by vertical pivot rods (4) inserted through holes (12) in the lugs and into guide sockets (6) in detachable feet (5) with holes (17) for fixing them to the ground. Each panel comprises a series of vertical bars (7) held parallel to one another by top and bottom rails (8, 9) that have the lugs on their ends. In a variant of the design the pivot rods can be fastened by locking catches.

Description

The invention relates to a movable, removable and collapsible barrier formed

of

  separable panels and support legs.

  Barriers of this type are already known, for example documents

FR 2 503 227 and FR 2 738 279.

  They are generally quick to install or uninstall but do not offer the possibility of also being usable in fixed fencing and does not have a system

simple locking.

  The object of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks and to

  propose a barrier, the components of which are simplified and which can be assembled quickly without tools.

  The invention relates to a movable, removable and collapsible barrier formed by separable panels and support legs, characterized in that it is produced by assembling: * a plurality of rigid panels without legs arranged vertically 15 and comprising on each side and in protruding in the extension of the plane of the panel, a plurality of ears, * a plurality of hinge bars (or cylindrical rods) capable of passing through the ears of the panels, * a plurality of separable feet each comprising a vertical hollow guide 20 in which can be housed at the end of a bar, the assembly of two successive panels being carried out by introducing a hinged bar into aligned holes in the ears of the two panels and by

  leaving to hang by gravity inside the guide of a foot.

  A barrier (1) according to the invention is produced by assembling: * a plurality of rigid panels (2) without feet arranged vertically 35 and comprising on each side and projecting in line with the plane of the panel, a plurality of ears, * of a plurality of hinge bars (4) (or cylindrical rods) capable of passing through the ears of the panels, * of a plurality of separable feet (5) each comprising a hollow guide

  vertical (6) in which can accommodate the end of a bar (4).

  According to the first variant of Figure 1 each panel is formed of fixed bars (7) held parallel by an upper bar (8) and a lower bar (9), the ends of each bar being each extended by a horizontal ear pierced in sound center by a hole (12) provided for the passage of a

hinge bar.

  The left ear (10) of a bar being offset with respect to the corresponding right ear (11) of the bar which faces it so that the holes (12) of all the ears of two successive panels can be aligned vertically. According to the second variant shown in FIG. 2, each panel is made up of welded wire mesh itself formed from horizontal wires (13) and

vertical wires (14).

  Some of the horizontal wires (13) are longer than the panel and their two ends are curled in a loop (15), each loop being able to be

  crossed by a hinge bar (4).

  The hinge bars (4) are, whatever the variant, simple sections of cylindrical bar of predetermined length, greater than the height of a panel so as to be able to be housed in a guide (6) with one foot and at exceed

  slightly above a locking element detailed below.

  Each foot (5) is essentially composed of: - a flat sole (16) serving as a seat and preferably also for fixing to the ground by means of one or more bores (17), - a guide (6) in the form of a portion of welded hollow tube, or fixed by any

  medium to the sole (16) and arranged vertically.

  The assembly of a panel to the next panel is carried out extremely simply, without requiring any tools, by vertically aligning the holes (12) of the left ears of a panel with the holes of the right ears of the next panel, then inserting into the holes aligned with a hinge bar (4), and

  leaving to block by gravity inside the guide (6) of a foot (5).

  FIG. 3 shows a straight barrier or fence produced by the assembly 35 of the elements of the invention.

  Figure 4 shows the same barrier whose hinged panels were

  moved so as to adapt said barrier to the shape of the area to be fenced.

  Figure 5 shows a gate panel (3) that can be added as an option to the

  barrier of figure (4) so as to make it openable and reclosable.

  A gate panel is a rigid panel of the same type as the rigid panels (2) and comprising on one side of the hinge ears (10) or (11) and of

  the other side a locking element (18).

  The locking element (18) is composed of an upper plate (19) and a lower plate (20) joined by a bar (21) equipped with a handle 10 (25). Each of the plates being pivotally mounted on a bar (8, 9) of the

  gate panel (3) and U-shaped with two lateral folds (22). For opening, the user lifts the element (18) and the flap down for closing, position in which the plates rest on the bars of the neighboring panel and are blocked laterally by the side folds (22) and the windows (23 and 15 24) of the plates crossed by the first bar (25) of the neighboring panel.

  This first bar (25) comprises at the top a bore (26) for the installation of a padlock. Among the functions and / or advantages of a barrier according to the invention and of the elements which compose it, it is noted in particular that: the mounting is simple and fast and does not require any particular tool including for the gate panel, - the barrier is adaptable to any desired shape, - it can have a temporary or permanent use by fixing the feet

  on the ground, and in particular use as a fixed swimming pool fence compatible with the standards in force in this area.

  - each hinge bar fulfills several functions, namely meeting two neighboring panels, articulation axis, joining the panels with the feet and possibly locking the door, - each foot also fulfills several functions: stability, blocking of the 30 hinge bars, fixing to the floor, - the number of different parts to be assembled is reduced, which reduces costs, - the panels are made of rigid material, not necessarily

metallic, depending on the style chosen.

  1. Movable, removable and collapsible barrier formed by separable panels and support legs, characterized in that it is produced by assembling: * a plurality of rigid panels (2) without feet arranged vertically and comprising on each side and projecting in the extension of the plane of the panel, a plurality of ears, * a plurality of hinge bars (4) (or cylindrical rods) capable of passing through the ears of the panels, * a plurality of separable feet (5) each comprising a guide vertical hollow (6) in which the end of a bar (4) can be housed, the assembly of two successive panels being carried out by introduction of a hinge bar into holes (12) aligned with the ears of the two panels and letting it hang by gravity at   inside the guide (6) of a foot (5).   2. Barrier according to claim 1 characterized in that each panel is formed of fixed bars (7) held parallel by an upper bar (8) and a lower bar (9), the ends of each bar being each extended by a horizontal ear pierced in its center by a hole (12) provided for the passage of a hinge bar.   3. Barrier according to claim 1 characterized in that each panel is composed of welded wire mesh and itself formed of horizontal wires (13) and vertical wires (14), some of the horizontal wires (13) being longer. that the panel and their two ends being curved in a loop (15), each mouth being able to   be crossed by a hinge bar (4).   4. Barrier according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the   hinge bars (4) are sections of cylindrical bar of predetermined length, greater than the height of a panel so as to be able to be housed in a guide (6) with one foot and to slightly exceed   above a locking element.   5. Barrier according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that   each foot comprises: - a flat sole (16) serving as a seat and preferably also for fixing to the ground by means of one or more holes (17), - a guide (6) in the form of a portion of welded hollow tube, or fixed all over   medium to the sole (16) and arranged vertically.   6. Barrier according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that it   further comprises a gate panel (3) and a locking element (18). 7. Barrier according to claim 6, characterized in that the locking element (18) is composed of an upper plate (19) and a lower plate (20) joined by a bar (21) equipped with a handle (25), each of the plates being pivotally mounted on a bar (8, 9) of the gate panel (3) and shaped into a U with two side folds (22).
