Abstract

The ironing board consists of a frame (1) with pivoting legs (5, 12), a folding iron rest (9), a top panel and a strut (23). At the opposite end to the iron rest the top panel has a rack (20) with teeth to engage with a crosspiece (18) connecting the upper ends (16) of a pair of folding legs (12). The strut (23) incorporates a spring-loaded cylinder (25), and the iron rest has a stop to ensure that it lies flush with the top panel in the deployed position.

  The present invention relates to an ironing board.

  The present invention relates to an ironing table which comprises a tray supported by feet having an X configuration in the position of use of the table and

When the feet occupy the position corresponding to the chosen height of the table, the sink is released 30 so that the rack 20 returns to its posi initial tion, the corresponding tooth of the rack 20

Claims (5)

  1 Ironing board of the type comprising a frame (1)   supporting a tray, the first legs (5) pivotally mounted   tants on the frame in the vicinity of one end thereof on which is mounted tilting an iron rest (9), second legs (12) connected articulated to the first legs at an intermediate point of their length and connected to connecting rods (15 ) connected by an axis articulated by an end on the frame (1) in the vicinity of an end opposite to that provided by the iron rest (9), and a strut l23) inserted between the second feet (12) and the rest iron, the latter comprising a maneuvering handle (8) so that by lifting it, the table is brought into a position of use, the feet affecting an X configuration,   means being provided to keep the rods aligned   lettes (15) with the second feet and on the contrary, by lowering said iron rest, the first feet, the second feet and the links (15) can be brought against the   underside of the frame in a storage position,   ractérisoe in that the frame (1) comprises, near its end opposite to that on which the iron rest is articulated, a rack provided with a series of teeth, while the axis (18) connecting the links (16) can be brought selectively against one of the teeth of the rack, the strut (23) being of adjustable length. 2. Ironing board according to claim 2, ca acterized in that the tilting axis of the iron rest (9) is integral with a sector for a notch (133 intended for   wear against a finger of the frame (1).   4. Ironing board according to claim 1, ca acterized in that it comprises means for locking the axis (18) connecting the hiellettes (16) so that it cannot escape inadvertently from the selected teeth born from the rack (20).   5.
