Abstract
L'instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention comporte des branches de préhension (2, 3) articulées les unes par rapport aux autres autour d'un axe de pivotement (4) pour le déplacement de mâchoires d'une position d'ouverture à une position de fermeture et des moyens de liaison (5) qui permettent d'une part sous l'effet d'un premier effort de pression sur les branches (2, 3) de verrouiller ces dernières dans une position déterminée et constante, et d'autre part sous l'effet d'un second effort de pression sur lesdites branches (2, 3) de déverrouiller ces dernières.

INSTRUMENT CHIRURGICAL La présente invention est relative à un instrument chirurgical et plus particulièrement à des moyens de liaison permettant, sous l'effet d'efforts de pression différents, le verrouillage et le déverrouillage des branches de préhension.
On connaît des instruments chirurgicaux de ce genre qui comportent des branches de préhension articulées les unes par rapport aux autres autour d'un axe de pivotement, pour le déplacement de mâchoires d'une position d'ouverture à une position de fermeture, et des moyens de verrouillage et/ou de déverrouillage desdites branches.
L'instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention comporte des branches de préhension articulées l'une par rapport à l'autre autour d'un axe de pivotement pour le déplacement de mâchoires, d'une position d'ouverture à une position de fermeture, et des moyens de liaison qui permettent d'une part sous l'effet d'un premier effort de pression sur les branches, de verrouiller ces dernières dans une position déterminée et constante et d'autre part, sous l'effet d'un second effort de pression sur lesdites branches, de déverrouiller ces dernières.
L'instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention comporte des moyens de liaison qui sont constitués, sur la première branche d'une oreille permettant la fixation d'un crochet et dans la seconde branche, d'un logement débouchant dans lequel est fixée une crémaillère.
L'instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention comporte un crochet qui comprend une partie d'accrochage et une partie de rappel élastique, qui est constituée par un ressort pour placer ledit crochet dans une même et unique position lorsque l'instrument chirurgical est en position déverrouillée.
L'instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention comporte une oreille qui est percée d'un trou pour recevoir un axe permettant la fixation du crochet sur la branche.
L'instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention comporte un logement débouchant, qui est prévu pour traverser de part en part l'épaisseur de la branche afin que la zone d'accrochage de la crémaillère, qui est constituée d'au moins une dent, soit dirigée en direction du crochet solidaire de la branche.
L'instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention comporte une crémaillère qui comprend une dent formée d'une creusure, qui est délimitée par une première face inclinée formant une rampe d'accès à l'intérieur de ladite dent et par une autre face inclinée constituant une rampe de sortie de ladite dent.

L'instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention comporte une crémaillère dont l'épaisseur est formée par une face à profil courbe reliant les deux premières faces inclinées.
L'instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention comporte des faces inclinées qui sont positionnées dans des plans distincts et parallèles afin de faciliter le glissement de la partie d'accrochage du crochet.
L'instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention comporte une crémaillère qui est positionnée et fixée à l'intérieur du logement débouchant, de manière que le fond de la creusure de la dent se trouve d'une part à l'intérieur dudit logement et d'autre part au même niveau que l'axe de fixation du crochet sur la branche.
La description qui va suivre en regard des dessins annexés, donnés à titre d'exemple non limitatifs, permettra de mieux comprendre l'invention, les caractéristiques qu'elle présente et les avantages qu'elle est susceptible de procurer : Figure 1 est une vue illustrant les moyens de liaison des branches en position déverrouillée d'un instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention.
Figure 2 est une vue représentant les moyens de liaison des branches en position verrouillée d'un instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention.
Figures 3 à 5 sont des vues montrant les mouvements des moyens de liaison permettant le déverrouillage des branches d'un instrument chirurgical suivant la présente invention.
On a représenté en figure 1 un instrument chirurgical 1 de type pince comportant deux branches de préhension 2,3 qui sont articulées l'une par rapport à l'autre autour d'un axe de pivotement 4 pour la fermeture et/ou l'ouverture de mâchoires non représentées.
Les mâchoires peuvent présenter une forme quelconque dépendante de leurs fonctions, qui peut être par exemple coupante ou pinçante.
Les branches 2 et 3 de l'instrument chirurgical 1 comportent, à l'opposé de l'axe de pivotement 4, des moyens de liaison 5 qui permettent, en fonction de l'effort de pression appliqué par le chirurgien, sur lesdites branches soit de les réunir entre elles, soit de les laisser libre l'une par rapport à l'autre.
Les moyens de liaison 5 sont constitués, sur la première branche 2 de l'instrument chirurgical 1 et en direction de la seconde branche 3, d'une oreille 6 qui est percée d'un trou 7 pour recevoir un axe 8 permettant la fixation d'un crochet 9.

Le crochet 9 comporte une partie d'accrochage 10 et une partie de rappel élastique qui est constitué par un ressort 11 pour placer ledit crochet 9 dans une même et unique position lorsque l'instrument chirurgical 1 est en position ouvert.
Les moyens de liaison 5 sont constitués dans la seconde branche 3 d'un logement débouchant 12 dans lequel est fixée une crémaillère 13.
Le logement débouchant 12 est prévu pour traverser de part en part l'épaisseur de la branche 3 afin que la zone d'accrochage de la crémaillère 13, qui est constitué d'au moins une dent 14, soit dirigée en direction du crochet 9 solidaire de la branche 2.
La crémaillère 13 comporte une dent 14 formée d'une creusure qui est délimitée par une première face inclinée 15 formant une rampe d'accès à l'intérieur de ladite dent, et par une autre face inclinée 16 constituant une rampe de sortie de ladite dent.
L'épaisseur de la crémaillère 13 est formée par une face 17 à profil courbe, reliant les deux premières faces inclinées 15 et 16 délimitant la dent 14.
Les faces inclinées 15 et 16 peuvent être positionnées dans des plans distincts et parallèles, afin de faciliter le glissement de la partie d'accrochage 10 du crochet 9.
La crémaillère 13 est positionnée et fixée à l'intérieur du logement débouchant 12, de manière que le fond de la creusure de la dent 14 se trouve d'une part à l'intérieur dudit logement 12 et d'autre part au même niveau que l'axe de fixation 8, du crochet 9, sur la branche 2.
On constate que l'instrument chirurgical 1 est en position verrouillée lorsque la partie d'accrochage 10 du crochet 9 solidaire de la première branche 2 coopère avec la creusure de la dent 14 de la crémaillère 13, fixée dans la seconde branche 3 (figure 2).
La position verrouillée de l'instrument chirurgical 1 est obtenue lorsque le chirurgien exerce un premier effort de pression sur les branches 2 et 3 afin de les rapprocher l'une de l'autre.
Lors de cet effort de pression, on constate que la partie d'accrochage 10 du crochet 9 glisse sur la face inclinée 15 de la crémaillère 3 jusqu'à ce qu'elle vienne coopérer avec le fond de la creusure de la dent 14.
Le verrouillage de l'instrument chirurgical 1 est définitif lorsque le chirurgien relâche son effort de pression. Cette position verrouillée est conservée jusqu'à ce que le chirurgien exerce un nouvel effort de pression sur les branches 2 et 3 de l'instrument chirurgical 1

En figures 3 à 5 on a montré le déplacement du crochet 9 par rapport à la crémaillère fixe 13 lorsque le chirurgien exerce sur les branches 2 et 3 de l'instrument chirurgical 1 un second effort de pression.
Le déverrouillage de l'instrument chirurgical 1 est obtenu lorsque le chirurgien exerce un second effort de pression qui est dirigé dans la même direction que celui permettant le verrouillage.
Ce second effort de pression consiste à rapprocher un peu plus les branches 2 et 3 l'une de l'autre pour sortir la partie d'accrochage 10 du crochet 9 de la creusure de la dent 14. (figure 3) Le prolongement du second effort de pression par le chirurgien permet de faire glisser la partie d'accrochage 10 du crochet 9 sur la face inclinée 16 jusqu'à ce qu'elle passe automatiquement de l'autre coté pour venir en contact glissant avec la face à profil courbe 17 de la crémaillère 3 (figures 3 et 4).
Le chirurgien procède ensuite au relâchement de son effort de pression entraînant un écartement des branches 2 et 3 de l'instrument chirurgical 1 et le glissement continu de la partie d'accrochage 10 sur la face à profil courbe 17 (figure 4).
Le relâchement complet de l'effort de pression permettant sous l'effet d'un ressort de rappel, non représenté, une ouverture totale de l'instrument chirurgical 1 afin de positionner la partie d'accrochage 10 du crochet 9 au début de la face inclinée 15 de la crémaillère 13 (figure 5).
On constate que les moyens de liaison 5 sont adaptables à l'ensemble des instruments chirurgicaux comportant des branches articulées autour d'un axe de pivotement.
On note que les moyens de liaison 5 permettent de manipuler un instrument chirurgical d'une seule main, d'un seul mouvement et de manière rapide et répétitive, pour verrouiller et déverrouiller les branches de préhension.
Il doit d'ailleurs être entendu que la description qui précède n'a été donnée qu'à titre d'exemple et qu'elle ne limite nullement le domaine de l'invention dont on ne sortirait pas en remplaçant les détails d'exécution décrits par tout autre équivalent.
Claims (9)
- REVENDICATIONS 1. Instrument chirurgical comportant des branches de préhension (2,3) articulées l'une par rapport à l'autre autour d'un axe de pivotement (4) pour le déplacement de mâchoires, d'une position d'ouverture à une position de fermeture, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend des moyens de liaison (5) qui permettent d'une part, sous l'effet d'un premier effort de pression sur les branches (2,3) de verrouiller ces dernières dans une position déterminée et constante, et d'autre part sous l'effet d'un second effort de pression sur lesdites branches (2,3) de déverrouiller ces dernières.
- 2. Instrument chirurgical suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de liaison (5) sont constitués sur la première branche (2) d'une oreille (6) permettant la fixation d'un crochet (9), et dans la seconde branche (3) d'un logement débouchant (12) dans lequel est fixée une crémaillère (13).
- 3. Instrument chirurgical suivant la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le crochet (9) comporte une partie d'accrochage (10) et une partie de rappel élastique qui est constituée par un ressort (11) pour placer ledit crochet (9) dans une même et unique position lorsque l'instrument chirurgical (1) est en position déverrouillée.
- 4. Instrument chirurgical suivant la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que l'oreille (6) est percée d'un trou (7) pour recevoir un axe (8) permettant la fixation du crochet (9) sur la branche (2).
- 5. Instrument chirurgical suivant la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le logement débouchant (12) est prévu pour traverser de part en part l'épaisseur de la branche (3) afin que la zone d'accrochage de la crémaillère (13), qui est constituée d'au moins une dent (14), soit dirigée en direction du crochet (9) solidaire de la branche (2).
- 6. Instrument chirurgical suivant la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que la crémaillère (13) comporte une dent (14) formée d'une creusure qui est délimitée par une première face inclinée (15) formant une rampe d'accès à l'intérieur de ladite dent, et par une autre face inclinée (16) constituant une rampe de sortie de ladite dent.
- 7. Instrument chirurgical suivant la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que l'épaisseur de la crémaillère (13) est formée par une face (17) à profil courbe reliant les deux premières faces inclinées (15 et 16).
- 8. Instrument chirurgical suivant la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que les faces inclinées (15,16) sont positionnées dans des plans distincts et parallèles afin de faciliter le glissement de la partie d'accrochage (10) du crochet (9).<Desc/Clms Page number 6>
- 9. Instrument chirurgical suivant la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que la crémaillère (13) est positionnée et fixée à l'intérieur du logement débouchant (12) de manière que le fond de la creusure de la dent (14) se trouve d'une part à l'intérieur dudit logement (12) et d'autre part au même niveau que l'axe de fixation (8) du crochet (9) sur la branche (2).
