Abstract

The trolley (1) with pallet handling forks (2) is controlled by a lever (4) operated by a person on foot or riding on a rear folding platform (3). A safety rail for the rider is provided by two folding arms (6), each with a lower end plate at an angle of 135 deg, pivoted to the projecting wing (7) of a U-shaped support (5), the wing being inclined at 45 degrees to the trolley's lengthwise axis. The horizontal base of the support is fixed across the rear of the trolley, with the wings extending upwards from it. The arms can be folded down across the back of the trolley when not in use and are fitted with detectors that prevent the trolley travelling at its highest speed when they are not deployed and locked.

Les chariots transpalettes motorisés, pour pouvoir être utilisés par un conducteur transport, sont équipés d'une plateforme fixe ou rabattable, fixée à l'arrière, sur le châssis de l'appareil, du côté opposé aux bras de fourches. Il est en effet important que le débattement du timon de manoeuvre du chariot ne soit pas gêné par les bras en question.
