Abstract

The paste container comprises a tube (1) in which a flexible wrapping (2) containing the liquid is fixed. When a user releases the pressure which he exerts on the tube air enters the space between the tube and casing through a non-return valve (3). The air compensates for the liquid which has left and the tube thus regains its initial shape at each relaxation of pressure and can be completely emptied as the wrapping advances into the neck (4).

Description

The present invention relates to a device for containing a liquid

  When the user tries to expel the entire contents of a traditional tube, there is always a significant amount of liquid, in particular

With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a tube (1) closed on one side and having a neck (4) allowing the liquid to exit on the other. The nature of the materials constituting the tube (1) is such that it can regain its shape

after deformation.

  On this tube (1) is fixed a non-return valve (3), allowing the passage of air only from outside to inside, its position on the tube (1) is such

  that the user cannot hinder its operation during use.

  This non-return valve (3) can be an integral part of the tube (1), in particular in the case where the latter is made of plastic by injection molding. It is then formed by a washer (7) fixed in its center in a housing (6) pierced. The thickness of the washer (7) constituting the non-return valve (3), its position in its housing (6) and the nature of the materials composing it, are such that a simple depression, due to the loosening of the tube ( 1) by the user, causes air to enter the said tube (1). These same characteristics must also allow it to prevent any passage of the air contained in the tube (1) to the outside, as soon as the user exerts a

pressure on the latter.

  Inside the tube (1), an envelope (2) is fixed to the wall of the neck (4), preventing any passage of air between the inside and the outside of the tube (1) at this level. It is also fixed in the center of the closed side, so that it can in no case come out of the tube (1). The flexibility and elasticity of the envelope (2) is such that, as the volume of liquid decreases, it can form a cylindrical bead (5) which will advance in the neck (4), thus expelling

the liquid there.

  According to a variant not illustrated, the neck (4) can receive a cap to prevent the liquid from coming out. There can also be several envelopes (2) in the tube (1) allowing the simultaneous expulsion of several liquids. Their

  positioning is then either side by side or one inside the other.

  By way of nonlimiting example, the tube (1) will have dimensions of the order of

  18cm for its length and 3cm for its diameter.

  The device according to the invention is ideal for containing toothpaste, glue, creams and all kinds of liquid products, sufficiently thick, distributed until today in traditional tubes or syringes.

Claims (5)

  1) Device for containing and facilitating the expression of thick to pasty liquids, characterized in that it comprises a tube (1) closed on one side and having a neck (4) on the other; in this tube (1), an envelope (2) containing said liquid is fixed (2) on the wall of the neck (4) and on the closed side of the tube (1) so that it can form a bead (5) to expel the liquid from the neck (4); a non-return valve (3), fixed on the tube (1), allows the passage of air only   outside to inside of it.   2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the anti-valve   return (3) constitutes an integral part of the tube (1), a washer (7) fixed by   its center in a housing (6) pierced then forms the latter.   3) Device according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterized in that   that the tube (1) receives a cap.   4) Device according to any one of the preceding claims   characterized in that the closed side of the tube (1) is obtained by fixing after   pinching of the end of this same tube (1).   ) Device according to any one of the preceding claims   characterized in that several envelopes (2) are fixed in the tube (1), either   side by side, one inside the other.   6) Device according to any one of the preceding claims   characterized in that at least part of the tube (1) is transparent.
