Abstract

BELLOWS CONTAINER, ESPECIALLY BOTTLE.

  The present invention relates to a container, and in particular to one. baby bottle made of a plastic body. In the application to a bottle, the body

  has a neck to which a teat can be connected.

  When the bottle is not completely filled with liquid, an air pocket forms. The presence of air in the bottle is both necessary for sucking and inevitable because of the opening of the teat and the exchange that results. If the bottle was sealed tightly, consumption of milk would produce a

  depression opposing breastfeeding.

  The distribution of air in a bottle is free, as long as the walls are smooth. The air

  naturally forms a pocket on the surface of the milk.

  This pocket is positioned according to the inclination of the bottle. If it is on the side of the teat, the consumer can swallow air during feeding, which causes certain inconveniences such as aerophagia and

digestive problems.

  The object of the invention is to remedy these drawbacks. To this end, the invention relates to a bottle formed by a plastic body surmounted by a connection means for a nipple characterized in that the body has on at least part of its length a bellows. The bellows shape provides to some extent a retention of air in the alveoli formed by

  the annular elements of the bellows.

  Furthermore, the bellows makes it possible to create an air vacuum in the bottle, by compression of the bellows and hermetic sealing after compression. This allows

  extend the storage of milk powder contained in the bottle before use due to the air vacuum created by the

decrease in bottle volume.

  Advantageously, the body forms a bellows over most of its height. The bottle then has a second advantage of reducing its volume outside of periods of use. It can be flattened and tightly sealed to maintain a reduced volume. When uncorking, it regains its nominal length due to the memory of the plastic, for example polypropylene. Advantageously, the body occupies at rest an intermediate length allowing extension and compression. It is thus possible to stretch it slightly when filling. After plugging with the teat, it will retract slightly, which will have the effect of driving

excess air.

  Preferably, the body has a succession of lenticular sections. According to an advantageous variant, the consecutive lenticular sections have

  faces forming an angle of about 500.

  According to a particular embodiment, the

  The bottle shown in Figure 1 and 2 is constituted by a body (1) having a helical thread

(2) and a collar (3).

  The bottle is made of polyethylene or polypropylene. The neck has a thread (4) extending over less than 360, for example about 340. This thread allows the screwing of the teat. The fact that it extends over less than 360 allows molding with a mold with a movable drawer in translation, and not in rotation. Cadences

  are therefore much faster.

  The bottle has a resting height of 85 mm, and a maximum section of 64mm. The hollow section of the thread (2) is 48mm. The depth of the thread is approximately 8 mm. FIG. 3 represents an alternative embodiment in which the teat is covered by a stopper serving as a cup (5). This cup is screwed or

  simply maintained by friction on the neck (3) of the bottle.

  It covers the teat and ensures the protection and hygiene of

the nipple.

  FIG. 4 shows an alternative embodiment in which a bottle cap cap (5) covers not only the teat but also the body (1) of the bottle. The bellows body (1) is folded up to occupy a lower height. The bottom of the bottle cap cap (5) is closed with a sealing film ensuring

  both the hygiene and the inviolability of the bottle pre-

  conditioned. In the version shown in Figure 4, the bottle cap cap has a flat bottom allowing

  It can also constitute a metering device to measure the

volumes of water or milk powder.
