Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a method of mounting an assembly consisting of

  less than an opening and a threshold, in particular of door, window or

  analogous, as well as a threshold for the implementation of such a method.

  Currently, it is known to use sealing tabs to fix the threshold of the doors or windows in the masonry which support them. In order to prevent such tabs from being lost before the threshold is fixed on its support, these are removably housed on the internal face of the threshold at the level of open hooking ribs provided at

this effect.

  At the time of installation, the sealing tabs are

  fixed on the threshold in a protruding manner so as to be introduced into the support.

  Such a device also has the advantage of limiting the size of the threshold before its installation, the sealing tabs being

  retained at the level of the internal face of the threshold in the plane of the latter.

  However, the drawback of this solution is that it prevents the threshold from having an internal face which can fulfill other functions, in particular of reinforcement, than those of the temporary reception of the legs of

sealing before installation.

  The object of the invention is to provide a method of mounting an assembly consisting of at least one opening and a threshold, in particular of a door, window, or the like, which overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks and makes it possible to temporarily maintain anchoring means without mobilizing the face

internal threshold.

  Another object of the invention is to propose a method of mounting an assembly consisting of at least one opening and a threshold, in particular of door, window or the like, which makes it possible to avoid the delivery of

incomplete products.

  Said assembly further comprises, for example, a frame, defining a frame around the opening. Said threshold is then

  As shown in Figures 1 to 4, according to the method according to the invention, wedging means 1 are provided between said threshold 2 and said opening 3, of which only the outline of the lower part is illustrated, with dotted lines in Figures I to 3.   The fixing of said wedging means 1 in one or other of the grooves 8, 9 is carried out, in particular, by force fitting and / or by

snap-in.

  As illustrated in FIG. 4, to carry out the installation of the assembly, the following steps are carried out for example: access to said anchoring means 4 and then these are fixed on said threshold 2. We can then seal

the latter on the support 5.

  As illustrated in FIG. 5, said orifice 17 has, for example, a large dimension, marked 20, for the introduction of the tab 14 and a small dimension, marked 21, for the attachment of the latter. Said tab 14 passes from its insertion position to its attachment position,

  in particular, by rotation in said orifice 17, along the arrow marked 30.

  Said orifice 17 has, for example, a shape approximately defined by the union of two half-discs whose distance between their respective centers is less than a given fraction of the

sum of their radius.

Claims (9)

  1. Method for mounting an assembly consisting of at least one opening (3) and a threshold (2), in particular of door, window, or the like, intended to be placed on a support (5), process in which: - wedging means (1) are provided between said threshold (2) and said opening (3), - anchoring means (4) of said threshold (2) are provided in said support (5), said anchoring means (4) being intended to be temporarily maintained at the level of said threshold (2) before the installation of said assembly and then to be fixed to said threshold (2) for the installation of said assembly, characterized by the fact that the temporary maintenance of said means is ensured   anchoring (4) on said threshold (2) with said wedging means (1).   2. Method according to claim 1, in which said anchoring means (4) are placed in a groove provided on said threshold (2) and said wedging means (1) are fixed in said groove (8) or a groove ( 9) adjacent, also provided on said threshold (2), by inserting said anchoring means (4) in a housing (10) provided at the level of said means of setting (1).   3.
