Abstract

This stapling device for joints in baking ovens is remarkable in that it comprises a plurality of staples (6) which are capable of being positioned, inserted into at least the thickness of the textile lining and of a possible metal mesh of the joint, each clip having a V-shaped configuration, with two symmetrical branches (6a, 6b), having a recessed portion (6c) forming a narrowing capable of being located in the thickness of the textile lining and wire mesh, said recessed shape itself extending by two ends (6d) capable of juxtaposing in a horizontal plane after closing the clip, said ends having a horizontal harpoon configuration to fit into the thickness of the wire mesh and ensuring the connection of said clip by defining a retaining zone (6e) of the wire mesh.

FOR COOKING OVENS

  The invention relates to the technical sector of packing seals and

  for sealing oven oven doors.

  It is known to produce seals (1) comprising a tubular metal mesh (2) on which is woven a textile lining (3) of material capable of responding

  at ambient temperature conditions.

  This assembly (2-3) is usually mounted or slid around a metal wire (F) called a metal frame creating the support; the wire is established in a rectangular configuration forming the frame for adaptation to the door frame of the baking oven. These seals have a closed configuration, in the forms of the frames (Pl) of the aforementioned doors, and are arranged to receive metal clips intended to be inserted in the

  openings on the peripheral edge of the door.

  These clips (4) have a configuration shown in FIG. 1, and thus comprise a U-shaped plate (4a) having an elastic deformation capacity, the ends (4b) of which are provided with hooks (4c) oriented in opposition and

  used to fix the clip on the metal frame (F) supporting the seal.

  Between the ends forming hooks and the base of the clip, is formed a constriction (4d) which comes into alignment after mounting the clip with the

  plan of the openings (5) of the frame (Pl).

  In practice, this type of staple has drawbacks due to insufficient holding on the joint. The installation of the staple is not practical and there is

  risks of damage to the textile lining itself.

  To remedy these drawbacks, the applicant has researched and developed two joint staple devices for which patent applications have

  have been presented under the numbers 97.14480 and 97.14479 in the name of the applicant.

  The configurations of staples described in these two patent applications make it possible to get rid of the metal frame (F) while allowing a stability of positioning of the staples markedly improved compared to art.

  Each clip has a V-shaped configuration with its branches (6a, 6b) with elastic deformation capacity, allowing the clip to be clipped into the openings (5) of the door frame. The connecting part between the harpooned end and the abovementioned withdrawal zone may be of decreasing or constant width. Said clip thus produced is therefore arranged while being perfectly held on the joint thanks to the particular configuration of its ends forming a harpoon. When said clip is positioned on the seal through the textile lining and the wire mesh, it is not removable in itself, except to create a

  deterioration on said textile lining and / or the metallic mesh.

  The advantages emerge clearly from the invention. The simplicity of implementation of the clip and its low manufacturing cost are emphasized.
