Abstract

The table utensil is composed of a round plate (1) on which is fitted a truncated cone (4) by means of a shoulder (3). A truncated cone (5) is fitted upside down on the first cone. The plate has flared edges (2) which have a notch (8) on the perimeter for receiving a cylinder (9) or a bell (10) provided with a handle (12).

Description

The subject of the present invention is a table utensil which, by virtue of its design, production and particular presentation, of facilitating the service of consumption and clearing, among other dishes having the same constraints, of the dish of the day known as "mussels and fries", particularly in the field of catering.

This dish of the day is special in that it requires a minimum of four utensils for service and consumption.

 1 - A tool for serving mussels.

 2 - A utensil for serving fries.

 3 - A "table bin" type utensil for empty shells.

 4 - A plate to eat.

This illustrates the problem of the space available on restaurant tables, without counting the numerous manipulations for the service.

This table concept according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks.

The main object of the invention is to provide a table utensil which makes it possible to reduce from four to one the place and the number of dishes necessary for the consumption of this dish.

This object is achieved according to the invention thanks to new means which will now be described with reference to an embodiment given solely by way of example.

To illustrate the invention, reference will be made to the appended drawing in which FIG. 1 is a sectional view through a plane passing through the axis of the utensil.

The tableware of the invention comprises, according to a first characteristic, a large round plate (1) provided with a flared rim (2) in which the molds are served. Note in its center a round shoulder (3) on which comes vertically to fit a truncated cone (4) of a studied volume and intended to receive the empty shells. On this truncated cone (4) comes to fit vertically and upside down a truncated cone (5) of a studied volume and intended to receive the fries.

For this purpose the truncated cones (4) and (5) are provided in correspondence with complementary coupling means allowing the blocking of the truncated cone (5) upside down on the truncated cone (4), any suitable means could be adopted. . In this example, these complementary means consist of male (6) and female (7) frustoconical parts fitting together. This is obtained by giving the truncated cone (5) and the truncated cone (4) diameters corresponding to a given height. Note also on the flared rim (2) of the plate (1) and on its periphery a notch (8) intended to receive the choice.

1 - A cylinder (9) of a given height intended to increase the capacity of the plate (1), the height of the cylinder (9) being a function of the desired additional volume.

2 - A bell (10) provided with a handle (12) intended to keep the food warm, with the possibility of mounting the bell (10) on the cylinder (9).

For this purpose the edge of the bell (11) will be formed so that it can fit together: 1 - either on the cylinder (9) itself placed on the notch (8) of the edge of the plate (1), 2 - either directly on the edge (8) of the plate (1) thanks to the antagonistic shape of their respective edges (8) (11), if the cylinder (9) for service reasons does not is not installed on the plate (1).

As an example of manufacturing round plate (1) in glazed terracotta for good heat and food preservation.

Truncated cones (4) (5) cylinder (9) and bell (10) in food grade stainless steel.

All other existing or future materials used in food or likely to be used could be used for its manufacture.

Its embodiment in four separate parts to facilitate maintenance and storage make this concept, characterized by its small footprint, a convenient utensil on a restaurant table safely.

This concept is particularly intended for the use of catering.

By way of nonlimiting example, this concept will have dimensions of three hundred millimeters in diameter for a height of two hundred and fifty millimeters excluding the bell.

Claims (7)

 Claims 1 - Table utensil for catering use characterized in that it consists of a truncated cone (4) fitted onto a round plate (1) via a shoulder (3). On this truncated cone (4) fits vertically and upside down a truncated cone (5). 2 - Table utensil according to claim 1 characterized in that the round plate (1) provided with high flared edges (2) has on its periphery a notch (8) intended to receive a choice: a cylinder (9) or a bell (10) provided with a handle (12). 3 - Table utensil according to claim 1 characterized in that the round plate (1) has at its center a round shoulder (3). 4 - Table utensil according to any one of claims 1-3 characterized in that the cone (4) comes to fit on the round shoulder (3) of the plate (1). 5 - Table utensil according to claim 1 characterized in that the truncated cone (5) is provided with a female frustoconical part (7) allowing it to fit together  upside down on the truncated cone (4). 6 - Table utensil according to claim 2 characterized in that the edge of the bell (10) is provided with a shape (11) antagonistic to the shape of the notch (8) of the plate (1). 7 - Table utensil according to claim 6 characterized in that the shape (11) of the edge of the bell (10) antagonistic to the shape of the notch (8) of the plate (1) allows it to fit together directly on the cylinder (9).
