Description
La présente invention concerne un dispositif de fixation étanche et affleurante d'un panneau d'obturation d'une baie sur un châssis délimitant cette baie. The present invention relates to a waterproof and flush mounting device for a shutter panel of a bay on a frame delimiting this bay.
Dans les véhicules automobiles, en particulier ceux du type monospace, on cherche de plus en plus à fixer les vitres (ou leurs rails de coulissement lorsqu'il s'agit de vitres coulissantes) sur le châssis délimitant la baie obturée par la vitre, de façon affleurante. L'affleurement de la vitre (ou du rail) présente en effet des avantages d'ordres à la fois esthétique et technique. Esthétiquement, il est évident que l'absence de parties extérieures en débordement de la vitre (ou du rail) permet d'obtenir des formes lisses et continues avec une sensation de meilleure finition. Techniquement, l'affleurement de la vitre en ligne avec le reste de la carrosserie et l'absence de relief sur le pourtour de la vitre permet de réduire les sifflements et d'améliorer les caractéristiques aérodynamiques du véhicule. Néanmoins, un défaut subsiste du côté intérieur : la feuillure du châssis reste apparente et il est donc nécessaire, pour des raisons d'esthétique et de sécurité (la feuillure étant coupante) , de recouvrir cette feuillure d'un élément d'habillage tel qu'une baguette de finition ou une couche de matériau de remplissage durcissable. Mais la pose d'un tel élément d'habillage occasionne une opération supplémentaire qui augmente les coûts de montage.
