Abstract

The system maintaining a hatch in the open or closed position utilises a pneumatic actuator (8) and a mechanical lock. In the closed position the mechanical lock comprises an upper cross member (2) with two plates fixed on the sides enabling the fixing of the nose of an actuator by means of a spindle (12). The spindle is pulled by the actuator nose causing the bolt (11) to lock in the frame (10). In the open position, locking comprises a rocker fixed to lower cross members (5) and to the actuator. The actuator pushes the rocker against the lower cross members where it is maintained by an oleo-pneumatic actuator (9). Mechanical raising of the pneumatic actuator is effected by the weight of the hatch.
