lying in the extension of the frame (3) of the seat back (2), and, on the other hand, a folded position in which the cushion (7) is substantially perpendicular to said raised position and extends in a direction said rear, opposite to a user of the headrest (4), characterized in that, when in its raised position, the pin (5,6) slides in a socket (13,14) which is fixed to the frame (3) of the seat back (2) and which has immobilization means (16,17), at different heights, of the pivot (10,11) for tilting so that the headrest (7 ) is adjustable in height between a high position and a low position, and in that the sleeve (13, 14) has an upper part (18,19) shaped to allow the tilting of the headrest (4) between its raised and folded positions

when said headrest (4) is in the high position.

2. Seat according to claim 1, wherein the upper part (18, 19) of the sleeve (13,14) has at least one oblong first opening (20, 21) opening at an upper end of the sleeve (13, 14 ) and arranged on one face of the sleeve (13,14) disposed rearward to allow movement of the headrest (4) towards its

folded position.

3. Seat according to claim 2, wherein the sleeve (13,14) has a stop (24,25) forming a lower support for the spindle (5, 6) in the folded position, this stop (24,25) being placed at a lower end of the

first opening (20,21).

4. Seat according to claim 3, wherein the stop (24,25) of lower support is shaped as a cradle, of shape complementary to that of the spindle (5,6).

5. Seat according to any one of the claims

2 to 4, in which the tilting pivot (10,11) is placed at a certain distance from the free end (8,9) of the spindle (5,6), and in the upper part (18,19) of the sleeve (13,14) is formed a second oblong opening (26,27), diametrically opposite to the first opening (20,21), to receive the free end (8,9) of the spindle

(5,6) in the folded position.

6. Seat according to claim 5, wherein the sleeve (13,14) has a stop (28,29) forming an upper support for the spindle (5, 6) in the folded position, this stop (28,29) being placed at an upper end of the

second opening (26,27).

7. Seat according to any one of the claims

1 to 6, in which the means for immobilizing (16,17) the tilting pivot (10,11) comprise at least one notched groove (30,33) formed in said socket (13,14), this socket ( 13,14) being made of elastic plastic material so that the pivot (10,11) cooperates by snap-fastening with one of said notches distributed over the length of the sleeve (13,14) and thus immobilizes the headrest ( 4) in different intermediate positions

between the high and low positions.

8. Seat according to claim 7, wherein the width of the groove (30,33) between, on the one hand, a

first notch (31,34) closest to the upper end

lower of the sleeve (13,14), and, on the other hand, the notch (32,35) immediately placed below, is less than the width of the rest of the groove (30,33), said first notch (31,34) defining an axis of rotation for the pivot pivot (10,11) of the headrest (4) between the

raised and folded positions.

9. Seat according to any one of the claims

1 to 6, in which the means for immobilizing (16,17) the tilting pivot (10,11) comprise, on the one hand, at least one smooth groove (40) in which the said pivot (10,11 moves) ), and, on the other hand, at least one leaf spring (41) having a first end (42) engaged with said pivot (10,11) and a second end (43) integral with the spindle (5,6 ), this spring (41) further comprising an elbow (44) cooperating with recesses (45) formed in a rear inner face (46) of the sleeve (13,14) for

lock the headrest (4) in different positions.

10. Seat according to claim 9, wherein the elbow (44) of the spring (41) is located at a level lower than that of the pivot (10,11) and biases the headrest (4) towards its folded position when the free end (8,9) of the spindle (5,6) is opposite the first (20,21) and second

(26.27) openings.
