Abstract

The invention concerns a car seat headrest, which can be placed in lower and upper position. The headrest according to the invention includes a cushion that is articulately joint by a system of lower (2) and upper (3) levers with brackets (1) permanently mounted on the seat. The levers (2 and 3) are bent into a shape resembling letter U. The transverse parts of thelever (2 and 3) are provided with flat areas (6 and 7) and at least the flat area (6) of the lower lever (2) abuts against the elastic unit (9) placed slantly in the back slide (8). The lever system is connected with the cushion by the front slide (4).
