IMPROVEMENT FOR UMBRELLA HANDLE

  The present invention relates to an umbrella handle and more particularly an improvement intended to allow the personalization and decoration of said handle as well as to improve

comfort of use.

  Several types of umbrella handles are known, such as, for example, cane type handles made of wood, or even of plastic or other plastics. These are very comfortable to use when the umbrella is closed and the user uses the umbrella like a simple cane, but are most often uncomfortable when using the umbrella in its function first, that is to say in the open up position. The grip of the curved shape of the handle is not easy and users generally tend to grab the right part of the handle preferably extending the handle itself of the umbrella see the handle itself. Also known are pommel-type umbrella handles having an almost cylindrical shape and extending the handle. These handles are generally solid in color, most often made of plastic and if the comfort of use is improved, the fact remains that their aesthetics are generally not their primary quality.   an at least partially transparent lateral peripheral wall.

  The handle (1) of the umbrella (2) according to the invention comprises at least one enclosure (3) delimited in part by a lateral peripheral wall (4) at least partly transparent. Said handle (1) comprises at its upper end (5a) a handle endpiece (6) with which is intended to cooperate one end of the handle (7) proper of the umbrella (2) and at its lower end (5b) a handle base (8) which can advantageously be used for closing

  hermetically said enclosure (3) as shown in Figure 3b.

  According to a first embodiment of the invention illustrated in FIGS. 1, 2, 3a, 3b and 3c, the handle (1) has an axis of revolution (XX ') and consists of an enclosure (3) delimited, of on the one hand, by a lateral peripheral wall (4) made of transparent plastic and, on the other hand, by an upper transverse wall (9) and a handle base (8) serving to hermetically seal said enclosure (3). A handle endpiece (6) consisting of a tube whose upper end is slightly rounded is fixed by any means to the upper end (5a) of the enclosure (3) such as for example by gluing, screwing or clipping. Said nozzle (6) is intended to receive in a bore (10) located at its upper end the handle (7) of the umbrella to be

fixed in a manner known per se.

  According to this first embodiment, the lateral peripheral wall (4) advantageously comprises an upper side wall portion (4a) of frustoconical shape extending the upper transverse wall (9), said upper side wall portion being extended downwards by a portion of lower side wall (4b) of cylindrical shape at the end of which is intended to be fixed by any means such as for example by welding, bonding or

  screwing, the handle base (8), as shown in Figures 2 and 3b.

  According to this first embodiment, the lateral peripheral wall (4, 4a, 4b) is advantageously of constant thickness (e) and thus delimits an internal volume of the enclosure (3) whose shape is substantially identical to the external shape of the handle as illustrated

Figure 3b.

  According to a second embodiment illustrated in FIG. 4, the lateral peripheral wall (4, 4a, 4b) defines an external shape of the handle identical to that of the first embodiment but internally delimits an internal volume of different shape thanks to a variation of the thickness (e) of said peripheral wall. One of the variant embodiments of this second mode consists in making a volume

  internal, for example in the shape of an hourglass.

  According to the various embodiments described above, the enclosure (3) of the handle (1) is intended to be filled at least partially by a decorative element (11). Said decorative element (11) which can advantageously consist of two immiscible liquids (11a, 11b), for example, to which a personalized figurine (11c) can be added, as shown in FIG. 5, or else consist of a liquid to which glitter is added. Said decorative element (11) can also be constituted by a solid compound element (11d) such as sand, seeds, millet, coffee beans or cereals, as shown in FIG. 6. It goes without saying that the decorative element could consist of a different element or material

  without departing from the scope of protection of the invention.

  According to the various embodiments described, the handle thus comprises a single enclosure (3) which can advantageously be filled with a decorative element (11) before being hermetically closed at its lower end (5b) by the handle base (8). It goes without saying that the handle could comprise two or more enclosures, the filling of which could for example be carried out by the two ends of the handle, without however departing from the protective field of the invention. Likewise, only part of the lateral peripheral wall (4, 4a, 4b) could be transparent, while another part could be decorated, for example, with the logo of a company or the like. In addition, the external shape of the handle (1) delimited by the lateral peripheral wall (4, 4a, 4b) could be different and present, for example, a cane-type profile or a spherical shape, without however leaving the field. of claimed protection of the invention. Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown by way of examples, but it includes

  also all technical equivalents and their combinations.

Handle (1) according to any one of claims   previous, characterized in that the enclosure (3) contains an element decorative (11).   6. Handle (1) according to claim 5, characterized in that the decorative element (11) consists partly of two non-liquid   miscible (11a, 11b) at least partially filling the enclosure (3).   7. Handle (1) according to claim 5, characterized in that the decorative element (11) is constituted by a solid element composed   (11d) such as sand, coffee beans, millet, cereals.   8. Handle (1) according to any one of claims 1, 2, 4,   , 6 and 7 characterized in that the shape of the internal volume of the enclosure   (3) is different from the external shape of the handle.
