Abstract

The night safe has strong-box with an opening (5) on one of its faces. A motorised panel (6) moves between an open and a closed position to allow access to deposit items and to block access. The motorised panel moves in a plane parallel to the plane of the wall containing the opening, with the bottom of the panel in contact with the outer surface of the wall. The panel edges overlaps the edges of the opening by at least 5 cm. A lock mechanism is activated when the panel is in the closed position. Impact and thermal detectors prevent operation of the circuit that controls operation of the panel if they indicate evidence of forced entry.
