Claims (4)
- A clutch device for engaging an exterior lever handle for a lock with a movable lock bolt, comprising, in the same casing (1), two rings (2a, 2b) mounted coaxially and each pierced with a follower (10), one of the followers receiving, on one side of the rings, an exterior lever handle and the other follower receiving, on the other side of the rings, an interior lever handle in direct engagement with a movable lock bolt, a mechanism for coupling the rings being actuated by a magnetic system controlled from the outside, the two rings (2a, 2b) being hollowed out at their base with a common cavity (12) vertically aligned with a housing (13) made in the casing (1), the mechanism actuated by the magnetic system consisting of a ball (3) which rests under its own weight in the bottom of the said housing provided in the casing, the said ball being able to move upwards, by virtue of the action of the magnetic system (4, 5, 6) and position itself in the cavity (12) common to the two rings (2a, 2b) to secure them together, and optionally comprising additional means (15, 18) for protecting the lock, connected directly to the mechanism for coupling the two rings.
- A clutch engagement device according to claim 1, characterized in that the magnetic system consists of a moving frame (4) bearing a stud (14) arranged at the base of the housing (13) and able to move the ball (3) towards the cavity (12), the moving frame surrounding a fixed electromagnet (6) the moving core plunger (5) of which is anchored to the base of the frame.
- A clutch engagement device according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the optional additional protecting means consists of a rotary disc (15) mounted facing the key cylinder and blocked by a locking stud (18) associated with the movement of the moving frame (4).
- A clutch engagement device according to claim 3, characterized in that the locking stud (18) is mounted at the end of a rod (19) extending the moving frame (4) and enters a cutout (17) of the disc (15).
