Abstract

The lighting support is formed by an upright wooden post (1 and 2) to which the light fitting is attached. The upright is formed by two long solid pieces of wood bolted (3) together along their length. A groove (5) is formed on the inside face of one of the pieces of wood. The electric cable to the lamp is fitted inside this groove before the two parts of the support are bolted together. An oblique passage (7) allows the cable to emerge for connection to the light fitting. The wood is treated so its end can be buried in a hole in the ground. A protective cap (9) is placed over the exposed end at the top of the support.

5. Candelabra according to claim 1 characterized in that the support comprises in its upper part a cap (9) for covering the two elements constituting the support.
