Abstract

A container cap including a skirt (2) with an open lower end (2c) for fitting same onto a container, and a substantially planar top surface (2d) with diametrically opposed bearing portions (5a) on either side of the central axis (2a) of the skirt, and hooking means for hanging the cap from a supporting rod. The hooking means include at least two rod-engaging points below the plane of the top surface of the skirt, and consist of a hook contained within the space defined by the skirt (2), and an elongate and preferably L-shaped channel is provided in the cap for inserting the rod through the top surface (2d) of the skirt and guiding it into the hook.
