Abstract

The closure (1) has a fastening (31-33) at one end with the closure preventing access to the fastening. The fastening has a clearance in the closed position and has clearance in the closed position and has a first (10) and second (11) half shells of complementary form for assembly. At least one of the shells has a cut out portion (100-110) to receive the end of the bag carrying the fastener. Clasp device of the so-called tamper-evident type for a packaging bag, in particular
its application to a bag containing a kite
The invention relates to a so-called "inviolable" clasp device for a packaging bag, in particular an elongated flexible bag containing a kite or a similar object.

 In the context of the invention, the term "inviolable" should not be considered in an absolute sense. It is indeed well known that, when it comes to security, no provision allows absolute security. The generally accepted principle is to remove the risk as much as possible without being able to eliminate it definitively, taking into account various constraints, in particular of a financial nature.

 Many objects are displayed for sale, for example in supermarkets, in their packaging, boxes, bags, etc. The invention relates more particularly to objects presented for sale in bags, and more particularly flexible bags.

 These packaging have several functions: protection of the object, advertising medium, even support for a brief user manual. Protection of the object means not only the physical protection of the object (against impact, etc.), but also protection against attempted theft, total or partial, of the object or part of his accessories.

 In what follows and to fix the ideas, we will place ourselves, without this being in any way limiting in the scope of the invention, within the framework of the main application of the invention.

 It is usual to sell kites, folded, in elongated flexible bags, that is to say in bags whose opening is small in relation to the length. Indeed, once disassembled and folded, a kite, in particular a kite of the most common type, that is to say a kite of delta shape, easily fits in a bag of the aforementioned shape. In addition to the kite itself, various accessories can be slipped into this bag: retaining wire, handles, user manual, etc.

 Various known organs make it possible to close the bag: zipper, closure with pressure, closure with button (s), closure with flap provided with a hook-and-loop tape or closure with lace.

 This type of closure does not allow, when the bag is displayed in a department and made available to buyers, to prevent access to the object it contains or its accessories. In particular, it does not prevent theft, of all or part of the contents of the bag, by unscrupulous people. Without considering this end, a potential buyer can unpack the object, in this case the kite and only put inside, after examination, a part of the accessories, if only negligently. It follows that the package is mismatched and becomes unfit for sale. In both cases, these facts lead to financial losses that one wishes to avoid.

 One could think of providing the original clasp with so-called "inviolable" means. However, in addition to the functions recalled above, the bag makes it possible, once the kite has been purchased, to keep it sheltered and to be able to transport it easily, when it is dismantled. It is therefore necessary that he can continue to play this role, which implies that the closure is of the reversible type.

This mode of operation does not, a priori, allow it to be assigned a tamper-evident function.

 In addition, the measures taken to ensure this inviolability function, should not burden the price of the object. In the preferred application, it is essentially a so-called "general public" object and the arrangements made must be suitable whatever the kite considered, including for entry-level kites, ie that is to say inexpensive.

 Finally, if the device must ensure sufficient level of security at the point of sale, it must be possible for the buyer to remove it without special tools when he wishes to unpack the kite or, more generally, object contained in the bag.

In other words, at the point of sale and / or exhibition, it should not be possible to easily open the bag in the absence of tools, i.e. only with the hands or with objects such as coins, car keys, etc. On the other hand, a regular buyer, returning to his home, must be able to open the bag with a common tool, such as a screwdriver or pliers, or a household instrument: knife, fork, spoon, chisel, etc.

 The invention aims to simultaneously fulfill the needs and requirements which have just been mentioned.

 To do this, a device is provided which is superimposed on the usual (or normal) closing member of the bag and which makes it inaccessible. This device is essentially constituted by a part in two parts which are assembled one on the other, using mechanical coupling means, in an irreversible manner except by breaking the mechanical coupling means. The only requirement is that the normal closing members, that is to say pre-existing on the bag, have an extra thickness or, at least that it is possible to create one, definitively or not. The types of closure which have been mentioned may be suitable within the scope of the invention.

 According to an important characteristic of the invention, this additional thickness is blocked inside the aforementioned two-part part, using retaining means such as a baffle, throttle or the like.

 The assembly of the two parts can be carried out in various ways, in particular by fitting one on the other or sliding, in the manner of drawers.

 The irreversible mechanical coupling means can be of various types: clips, conical fitting, etc.

 In all cases, it is necessary to break the coupling means to gain access to the normal closing member, for example with the help of the aforementioned household tools or instruments. The normal closing member does not suffer any damage during this operation and can therefore continue to play its full role.

 In a preferred variant of the invention, the tamper-evident device further comprises an integrated suspension member, hook, opening, etc., which allows easy hanging of the bag in a suitable display.

 It also lends itself to any advertising function. Indeed, it is possible to mark it, by any known means (labels, engraving, etc.) to include a logo, a brand and / or any desired inscription.

 A priori, the tamper-evident device according to the invention is discarded after use. If it is desired to reuse this device, provision may be made, in an additional embodiment, for mechanical coupling means which are not irreversible, but of a model similar to magnetic anti-theft devices, commonly used for the sale of clothing for example. A small tool is then provided for disassembling the two parts of the device. This disassembly takes place, for example, when the customer goes to the checkout to pay for his purchase. In addition to its actual tamper-evident function (which prevents access to the interior of the bag, in the store), the device is then provided with an additional detection or anti-theft function.

 The subject of the invention is therefore, a clasp device of the so-called "tamper-proof" type for a packaging bag provided, on one end, with a clean closure member, the device being intended to prevent access to this clean closure, characterized in that said clean closure member having an increased thickness in the closed state, it comprises first and second half-shells of complementary shapes so as to be able to be assembled one against the other, in that at least one of these half-shells is provided with a recess capable of receiving the end of said bag provided with the own closing member and means forming a baffle to block, between the two half-shells, when they are assembled one against the other, said excess thickness and prevent the withdrawal of the end of the packaging bag from the enclosure formed by the two half-shells in the assembled state, and in that the half-shells shells are provided with means for locking them i, one over the other, so as to prevent access to said clean closure member.

 The invention also relates to the application of such a device to the protection of a bag containing a kite.

The invention will be better understood and other characteristics and advantages will appear on reading the description which follows with reference to the appended figures, and among which:

 FIG. 1 schematically illustrates an example of a clasp device 1, called "tamper-proof", according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, which will be called hereinafter, by way of simplification, clasp. This is intended for the protection of an object enclosed in a flexible bag 3, and more particularly, in the context of the preferred application of the invention, for the protection of a kite (not shown) and of these various accessories.

 In the embodiment illustrated by FIG. 1, the clasp consists essentially of two substantially complementary parts: in this case two half-shells, 10 and 11, which one can arbitrarily call upper and lower.

 These half-shells, 10 and 11, are both provided with a recess, respectively 100 and 110. The width of these recesses, 100 and 110, is equal to or slightly greater than the width of the bag 3, at least in part upper than that <: i, that is to say the part comprising the normal closing member of the bag 3.

 Still in the example illustrated, the bag closing member 3 is constituted by a flap 31 which folds over the upper part 30 of the bag 3. The flap 31 and the upper part 30 of the bag are each provided with a band. of self-gripping fabrics, respectively 33 and 32, for example of the type known under the trade name "VELCRO". When the flap 31 is folded towards the upper part of the bag 3, these two hook-and-loop strips come into contact and the bag 3 is thus closed. In FIG. 1, the flap has been cut away 31 to better show the interaction of the two bands, 32 and 33.

 Figure 2 illustrates in more detail the mouth of the bag 3 allowing the introduction of an object (arrow "f ') therein, between an upper face 320 and a lower face 321, including the flap 31 n is only a natural extension of it. The bag 3, and more precisely the faces 320 and 321, can be produced from any suitable material, in particular from flexible plastic sheets. The upper sheets 320 and lower 321 can be combined by any known means, for example by a thin strip 300 of peripheral tissue and a seam.

 It should be understood that the bag 3, per se, is in no way different from the bags of known art. These therefore do not require any transformation to be used in the context of the invention.

 The type of closure which has just been described does not have any appreciable excess thickness.

 In this case, according to one aspect of the invention, and if we refer again to Figure 1, we artificially create an extra thickness. A simple way is to introduce a rod 2 between the bag 3 (upper part 30) and the flap 31, for example a cylindrical rod. This rod 2, once the flap 31 is folded and the tabs of self-gripping fabrics, 32 and 33, hung one on the other, are kept trapped.

 At least one of the two half-shells, the half-shell 11 as shown in FIG. 1, has a baffle in a rear zone of the recess 110. To do this, it is possible to provide a bar 112, c ' that is to say in reality an area in relief with respect to the bottom wall of the recess 110, leaving a free space between the bottom of the recess 110 and this bar 112. It follows that the recess has two zones: a zone before 1100 whose depth is such that it can cover the end of the bag 3, including the zone provided with tabs in self-gripping fabrics, 32 and 33, when the bag is closed and the end of the latter is introduced into the recesses 110 and 100, and a rear zone, 111, forming a channel, intended to receive the rod 2 trapped between the end 30 of the bag 3 and the flap 31.

 Advantageously, the baguette 2 is of greater length than the width of the bag 3, near its opening (flap 31). Similarly, the channel 111 has a dimension greater than that (width) of the recess 110, so as to better retain the rod 2. The channel 111 therefore extends, in 1110, in the side walls, 115, of the half shell 11.

 Similarly, even in the case where the half-shell 10 does not include a member equivalent to the bar 112, the recess 100 advantageously includes a rear zone 101 of larger dimension than the main front zone 1000. This rear zone 101 plays the same role as the channel 111.

It is intended to retain the rod 2, trapped between the flap 31 and the end 30 of the bag 3.

 In the side walls, 102 and 115, half-shells, 10 and 11, additional mechanical coupling means are provided.

 In the example illustrated in FIG. 1, these coupling means comprise, first of all, pins 113 in relief made on the lateral wings 115 of the half-shell 11, more precisely on the face opposite with the lateral wings 102 of the half-shell 10. These are inserted into orifices (not visible in FIG. 1) of complementary dimensions made on the lateral wings 102, so as to allow the two half-shells to fit together, 10 and 11, one on top of the other and trapping the closed end of the bag 3 and the retaining strip 2, forming additional thickness.

 Advantageously, the relative dimensions of the pins 113 and the orifices can be such that they involve force insertion.

 The pins can be arranged either on one or the other of the half-shells 10 or 11, or on both.

 The mechanical coupling means are completed (in the example illustrated) by pawls, for example made on the side wings 102 (not visible in FIG. 1) fitting into complementary orifices 114, made on the side wings 115 It is these pawls which allow the irreversibility of the mechanical coupling of the two half-shells, 10 and 11. The operation of these pawls will be explained below, with reference to FIG. 7b.

 It is easy to see that once this coupling has been carried out, the two half-shells, 10 and 11, can no longer be separated. In addition, the normal opening of the bag 23 is no longer accessible, since the two half-shells, 10 and 11, covers the latter. To gain access to this opening, it is then necessary to break the aforementioned pawls by introducing between the two half-shells, 10 and 11, a common tool, of the screwdriver type, or an elongated object, of the knife or scissor type (not shown on the face). In other words, the device according to the invention must be permanently damaged in order to be able to access the interior of the bag 3. This operation cannot easily be carried out on site, that is to say at the point of sale. , without attracting the attention of other consumers, sellers or without being detected by possible surveillance devices (television camera for example).

 According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the device 1 can be provided with hooking or gripping means, for example orifices, 105 and 113, produced on the upper ends of the half-shells, 10 and 11, respectively the ends 104 and 116. This arrangement makes it possible to hang the bag 3 on a suspension or a display.

 One can also advantageously use the external faces of the half-shells, 10 to 11, for advertising purposes, for example by producing there prints and / or engraving 103, to make there appear marks, logos or other texts.

 The other usual closing means commonly used in the case of bags containing articles are also compatible with the device which has just been described, as it is or by making minor modifications. These closure modes have been recalled previously: zipper, etc. If this closure naturally has an extra thickness, it can be used directly. It is then no longer necessary to provide the rod 2 or a similar member to slide in the closure. The baffle is provided in an appropriate zone of the recesses, 100 and 111. The exact shape of the baffle must be adapted to the relief of the allowance.

 By way of nonlimiting example, a closure provided with press studs may have sufficient extra thickness. I1 then suffices to trap the snaps in one or more baffles produced inside the demos, 10 and 11.

 The embodiment which has just been described is of the "interlocking" type, since the two half-shells, 10 and 11, snap onto each other, in particular thanks to the pawls 114.

 A second embodiment of a clasp according to the invention will now be schematically described with reference to FIGS. 3a and 3B. It is now an embodiment of the "drawer" type, in the sense that the half-shells, 10 'and 11', slide one over the other until they click into place.

 In order not to overload the drawing, only the specific parts essential for a good understanding of this embodiment have been shown, it being understood that the other parts are similar to those already described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. Although not shown, it is also clear that the clasp 1 'can also include suspension members (Figure 1: 105-117).

 The half-shell 11 ′, which can be described as lower, has a recess 110 ′, playing a role similar to the recess 110 (FIG. 1). The bottom of this recess 110 ′ is advantageously provided with a channel 111 ′ of larger size so that it sinks into the lateral wings 115 ′. As before, this channel is intended to receive the rod 2 trapped between the bag 3 and the flap 31 (FIG. 1), the front part of the recess covering the closure of case 3, in a manner entirely similar to the embodiment according to the Figure 1. Similarly, there is a baffle (not visible in Figure 3) defining the front edge of the channel 111 '.

 Specifically, reliefs 106 and 107 are provided on the underside of the upper demicoque 10 ′ (that is to say facing the recess 110 ′), forming rails, for example of trapezoidal section, with the short side flush with the surface of the lower wall of the half-shell 10 '. The lower demicoque 11 ′ is also provided with grooves, 118 and 119, of profile complementary to the rails, 106 and 107.

 Once the end of the bag is closed using the own closing means (for example using the strips of self-adhesive fabric, 32 and 33), the end of the bag 3 (FIG. 1) engaged in the 'recess 110' and the extra thickness trapped in the channel 111 '(for example the strip 2: Figure 1), the rails, 106 and 107, are inserted in the grooves, 118 and 119. The upper half-shell 10 is then slid ', in the direction of arrow f, to trap the closing of the bag, by a drawer movement.

 To obtain an irreversible coupling of the two half-shells, 10 ′ and 11 ′, it is advantageous to provide pawls arranged, for example, at the end of the above-mentioned rails, 106 and 107.

 The detail figure 3b more particularly illustrates this particular aspect. This figure is an enlarged cutaway of the end of one of the rails, 107, and of the corresponding groove 118.

 The relief 107 forming a rail comprises, in the example described, a strip 1070 forming a spring which slides, in the compressed state, on the bottom of the groove 118.

The latter is provided, on its bottom, with an orifice 1180 intended to receive the strip 1070 when the upper half-shell 10 'completely covers the lower half-shell 11', that is to say when the "drawer" which constitutes these two rooms is closed.

 Naturally, the dimensions of the orifice 1180 must be determined, not only so that it can accommodate the strip 1070, but so that it can completely relax. It follows that this strip forms a pawl and, because of its asymmetrical shape, prevents sliding in the opposite direction of the half-shell 10 'on the half-shell 11'. It is also necessary that the relative positions of the strip 1070 and the orifice 1180 be determined so that the snap-in occurs when there is complete covering of the two demicoques, 10 and 11. Finally, the thickness of the groove 118 must be slightly greater than that of the rail 107, more precisely this thickness must be equal to or slightly greater than the combined thickness of the rail 107 and the strip 1070 in the compressed state, so as to allow the insertion of the one in the other and the aforementioned slip.

 Because the rails, 106 and 107, abut on the bottom of the grooves, respectively 119 and 118 (for example the bottom 1181, in FIG. 3b), the upper demicoque 10 'can no longer continue its direct translational movement either (direction of arrow f). We reach an irreversible locking state and access to the opening of the bag 3 (Figure 1) becomes impossible. It is necessary, as before, to break the pawl 1070, in order to be able to remove the device 1 'and then open the bag 3 (Figure 1). This operation can also be carried out using a standard tool: screwdriver, etc. or an elongated utensil: knife, scissors, etc.

 Although a single pawl is sufficient to ensure an irreversible locking, it is naturally possible to provide several pawls, on a single rail (107 for example), a single pawl on each of the rails, 106 and 107, or even several pawls on both rails. The position of the pawls along the rails is also not critical, insofar as they are located in an area comprising the lateral wings 115 'or the upper area 116'.

 We will now describe, with reference to Figures 4 to 8, a practical embodiment of a clasp according to the invention. The embodiment is similar to the embodiment described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. In FIGS. 4 to 8, the elements identical or at least playing a role similar to those of FIGS. 1 and 2 have the same references and do not will be described only as necessary.

 The clasp 1 comprises two complementary parts 10 and 11, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, respectively, which illustrate these parts seen from below, that is to say from the inside of the case which they form when they are assemblies.

 To lighten the structure, recessed zones separated by ribs 120 can be provided, as shown more particularly in FIG. 5.

 According to this precise embodiment, four assembly pins 13a are provided in the upper zone 116 of the half-shell 11, on either side of the central hooking opening 105, and two, 113b, on the side wings 115. Advantageously, as shown more particularly in Figure 6b, the pins 1 13b are longer than the pins 1 13a to facilitate assembly. In a dual manner, the half-shell 10 includes orifices 1 08a and 1 08b adapted to receive the pins 1 13a and 113b, respectively.

 According to another particular feature, illustrated more particularly in FIG. 7a, instead of being flush with the surface of the wings 115, the base of the pins 1 13b is advantageously "inserted" and surrounded by a groove 1130. Similarly, the orifice 1 08b is surrounded by a relief 1080, of dual form of the groove 1130, always to obtain a better assembly.

 Figures 6a and 6b are sections along "A" and "B" half-shells, 1 1 and 10, respectively. They more particularly illustrate an embodiment of the channels 101 and 111, each having a semi-circular section.

They are separated from the main recesses 100 and 110 by ribs, 1000 and 112, respectively. This set, "rib - channels" forms a baffle capable of receiving the extra thickness of the bag closure, in this case the rod 2 trapped between the flap 31 and the end 30 of the bag 3 (see Figure 1).

 FIG. 7b illustrates more particularly the operation of the pawl ensuring the irreversibility of the assembly of the two half-shells, 10 and 11. This consists of a projecting tongue 109, with elastic properties, extending the wing 102 from the half-shell 10 and ending in a hook-shaped relief 1090. On the wing 115 of the half-shell 11, an opening 114 has been produced, suitable for receiving the tongue 109 and comprising a flange 1140 under which s 'snaps the aforementioned hook 1090. This operation is permitted due to the elastic property of the tongue 109. Once the snap-in state has been reached, that is to say when the two half-hulls, 10 and 11, are assembled one on the other, it is no longer possible to separate them, except by breaking the tongue 109 forming a pawl and / or the flange 1140.

 According to another aspect of the clasp 1, illustrated in FIG. 8, it is possible to provide all or part of the lateral wings 102 and 115 with a notched profile 121 in the form of complementary saw teeth. This arrangement allows a more compact assembly.

 The material used for the manufacture of the half-shells, 10 and 11 (or 10 'and 11', FIG. 3a), as well as for the rod 2, must be inexpensive and easy to work. Plastic materials can be used for this. The manufacturing will then advantageously be carried out by molding. In addition, the plastic materials being breakable and endowed with elastic properties, the clips could also be produced from this same material, preferably in a single operation, the half-shells, 10 and 11, being monoblocks.

 It should be clear, however, that the invention is not limited to only the examples of embodiments precisely described, in particular with regard to FIGS.

 In particular, the choice of materials proceeds from simple technological considerations within the reach of those skilled in the art.

 In addition, although only two main embodiments have been explicitly described, it goes without saying that variants on these embodiments are possible, without departing from the scope of the invention.

 In particular, as has already been indicated, if one wishes to recover the parts of the clasp after use, for example once the purchase of the protected object has been registered at the cash register, the half-shells can be provided with magnetic locks of the type used in the sale of clothing. It is also possible to provide only one kind of assembly member, for example conical shanks which allow a force fit. These conical shanks then replace the assembly pins and the clips. The two half-shells can also be assembled irreversibly by gluing or hot welding. I1 must then break the bonding or welding points to separate the two parts. We can finally provide a double, articulated piece, which closes like a seashell. This embodiment has the advantage of not requiring the molding and storage of a single component.

In addition, if a strip (Figure 1: 2) is necessary, it can be produced in a single molding operation by being joined to the main double part by a thin strip of plastic, flexible and anyway breakable at the time of 'use.

 It should also be clear that, although particularly suitable for the main application, that is to say the protection of stretched bags containing kites, the invention cannot be confined to this single type of application. It also applies equally well to the protection of any object contained in a bag, whether elongated or not.

Claims (10)

 1. Clasp device (1) of the so-called "tamper-proof" type for a packaging bag (3) provided, on one end, with a clean closure member (31, 32, 33), the device (1) being intended to prohibit access to this clean closure member (31, 32, 33), characterized in that said clean closure member (31, 32, 33) having an extra thickness in the closed state, it comprises first (10 ) and second (11) half-shells of complementary shapes so as to be able to be assembled one against the other, in that at least one of these half-shells (10, 11) is provided with a recess (100, 110) capable of receiving the end of said bag (3) provided with its own closing member (31, 32, 33) and with means forming a baffle (101, 111, 112, 1000) to block, between the two half-shells (10, 11), when assembled one against the other, said excess thickness and preventing the withdrawal of the end of the packaging bag (3) from the enclosure formed by the two demos in the assembled state, and in that the half-shells (10, 11) are provided with locking means (108, 113, 109, 114) of those, one on the other, so as to prevent the '' access to said own closing member (31, 32, 33) ,.  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that said locking means (114, 109) which are provided with the half-shells (10, 11) comprise at least one elastic strip (109) provided with a hook (1090) , produced on one of said half-shells (10), and an orifice (114) comprising a relief (1140) allowing the hooking of said hook (1090), produced in the other half-shell (11), the elastic strip ( 109) provided with its hook (1090) playing the role of a pawl so as to obtain an irreversible assembled state of the two half-shells (10, 11), the latter then being able to be separated only by breaking the pawl (109 - 1090) and / or relief (1140).  5. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that said locking means which are provided with the half-shells (10, 11) comprise at least magnetic members so as to lock the two half-shells semi-permanently, this state which can only be broken by the use of a tool for disassembling said magnetic members.  9. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said half-shells comprise attachment means constituted by orifices (105, 117), produced in a front zone (104, 116) of these half-seals (10, 11), allowing said bag (3).  10.
