Abstract

The casing comprises two parts. The upper part (6) is formed from an extruded section forming a parallelepiped casing (7) open in its lower part. Its under face (8) closes the casing lower part but leaves a passage for the roller blind. The casing is mounted between the upper wooden cross member (5) of a traditional window frame, which is left in place, and the upper cross member of an inserted industrial window frame. On its vertical and longitudinal internal face (7a) the casing has a horizontal and longitudinal projection delimiting with this internal face upper (12) and lower (13) rabbets. The upper wooden cross member is housed in the upper rabbet and the upper cross member of the brought in window is housed in the lower rabbet. The height of the lower part of the internal vertical face , constituting the lower rabbet, is equal to the combined height of the two cross members (2,3) of the brought in window.
