Abstract

POOL FOR HYDROTHERAPE
The present invention relates to a swimming pool for hydrotherapy. Medical pools are mainly used in physiotherapy for muscle and joint rehabilitation carried out at the temperature of the human body.

 Swimming pools with internal acrylic coating with self-compensating bridge remain limited to dimensions of 8 m. maximum length. The larger swimming pools, intended for hospitals, are made of concrete covered with tiles with joints separating the tiles.

 At operating temperature, around thirty degrees to reach 38 "C, bacteria multiply and hygiene is no longer guaranteed. To avoid this bacterial problem, smooth walls must be produced.

 Stretched fabrics, commonly known as "liners" and acrylic paints do not withstand thermal shock linked to draining swimming pools and attack by chlorine.

 There is therefore no known solution for making large, healthy and durable swimming pools with a smooth coating.

 The present invention intends to remedy these drawbacks.

 The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a swimming pool according to which a rigid support is produced constituting an enclosure or tank which is coated on its internal faces with plates which are connected to each other and / or to the rigid support by a material having a sticky or associated power. to tackifying agents whose coefficient of thermal expansion is substantially equal to that of the material constituting the plates.

In particular. the smooth plates can be made of acrylic and the rigid support of concrete, the assembly being made with resins linked to glass fibers, a material whose coefficient of expansion is substantially equal to that of acrylic.

 The swimming pool object of the present invention is therefore a swimming pool comprising as support a ngide tank characterized in that it has internal walls made up of plates of smooth primary material assembled together by a secondary material whose coefficient of thermal expansion is substantially equal to that primary material.

 The primary material is preferably made of synthetic material, for example polymethyl methacrylate.

 The rigid support can be made of concrete.

The secondary material is preferably made of composite material, for example a mixture of resins and glass fibers
The corner joints can be made of silicone.

 The assembly consisting of the plates of primary material and of the secondary material is fixed to the rigid support by gluing with an adhesive with double sticky faces or by gluing with epoxyurethane glue or others.

 The description which follows, made with reference to the accompanying drawings for explanatory purposes and in no way limiting, allows a better understanding of the advantages, aims and characteristics of the present invention.

In FIG. 1 are represented three plates of primary material 1, 2 and 3, a rigid support 4, two seals 5 and 6, a layer of secondary material 7 and water 8.

 The three primary material plates 1, 2 and 3 are smooth on at least one of their faces. This smooth face is turned towards the interior of the swimming pool, that is to say on the side opposite to that on which the secondary surface is located. This primary material is for example glass or synthetic material. For example, advantageously , the primary material used is a bacteriologically neutral material, (to commonly usable products) chemically and physically not very sensitive to athermal shocks by chlorine or other chemicals and which cannot transport microbial flora, this primary material is polymethyl methacrylate. primary material plates 1, 2 and 3 jointly form one of the walls of a swimming pool. Other identical plates form other walls which make it possible to produce a basin, a sealed volume in which water can be kept.

 The rigid support 4 is a support which resists the pressure of the water which is inside the pool between the smooth walls of the plates of primary material 1, 2 and identical plates. The rigid support 4 is, as a preferred example, made of concrete, reinforced or not.

 The two seals 5 and 6 respectively separate the plates of primary material I and 2 on the one hand and 2 and 3 on the other. These joints are very narrow, the plates of primary material preferably being fitted together. For example, joints of a few tenths of a millimeter, or even a tenth of a millimeter can be made.

As an option, these seals can be filled with any material, silicone or at least one of the components of the secondary material.

 The layer of secondary material 7 interconnects the plates of primary material 1, 2 and 3 and the wall of the rigid support 4. The secondary material has a coefficient of thermal expansion substantially equal to that of the primary material.

Preferably, the secondary material is a composite material and, even more preferably, it is a mixture of resins and glass fibers which has a coefficient of thermal expansion substantially equal to that of polymethyl methacrylate.

 Advantageously, the layer of secondary material è has an adhesive power to adhere to the rigid support wall è; This layer of secondary material è may be rigid or elastic or provided with a model of flexibility. The secondary material can be on the ngide support fixed by a layer of rigid adhesive after drying or flexible after drying or by an adhesive means such as a double-sided adhesive tape. In FIG. 2 are represented the three plates of primary material 1, 9 and 3 the rigid support 4, the two seals 5 and 6, the layer of secondary material 7 and water 8.

The two plates of primary material 9 and 10 are identical to the plates 1, 2 and 3 presented with reference to FIGS. I and 2. They form an angle between them, here a right angle, in which the water 8 is located.

 The rigid support 4 forms around the plates 9 and 10 the same angle as these.

The layer of secondary material 7 covers the plates 9 and 10 on the side thereof which faces the rigid support 4.

 The double-sided adhesive 1 1 has two adhesive sides. I1 fixes the two plates 9 and 10 securely and tightly on the rigid support 4.

 The silicone seal 12 separates the two plates 9 and 10 at the corner of the pool.

 FIG. 4 shows two plates of primary material 9 and 10, the rigid support 4, the layer of secondary material 7, the water 8, a layer of glue 13 and a joint of secondary material 14.

 The adhesive layer 13 fixes the two plates 9 and 10 securely and tightly on the rigid support 4. The adhesive is preferably made of epoxyurethane adhesive or derivative.

 In addition to the description above, a few additional remarks should be made.

 These swimming pools possibly include filtering means, temperature and basicity controls for the water, not shown.

 A peripheral water evacuation chute can be incorporated into the edges of the pool thus produced.
