Abstract

The hanger consists of a plastics strip with its two ends (1,2) fastened to the top of a curtain, and a central section (3) which is shaped to fit over a curtain rod. The central section is of a rigid plastics with a retaining element (5) for a decorative covering layer, while the two ends are in the form of supple plastics strips. The hanger's central section can be reinforced by lengthwise ribs, or it can have a series of transverse ribs which allow it to be bent to the required shape. The curtain fastening is made from a screw (8) and an internally threaded rod (7).
