Abstract

The turbine type blower (12b) is motor driven along an axis (12a) and is partially enclosed by a cowling (12c). When the blower is in use air is drawn in through inlets (10a,10b) and channeled along a deflector plate (16) to pass through radiating fins (11a).The radiating fins are fluid heated and the warmed air exits through a grill (15) in the casing (10). If a flap valve (17) is opened and the heating fluid deactivated, air is drawn in through a lower grill (14), heated by electrical resistors (19) and expelled through the upper grill (15) by convection.
