Abstract

The modular device, for washing and cleaning windscreens, is fitted onto the bonnet of the vehicle and is situated at the lower edge (14) of the windscreen (12). It is formed of two modules (18 & 20), which are assembled together and to the rest of the vehicle. One of the modules (18) is designed to contain the liquid, used for washing the screen, and forms the reservoir for the other module. The second module (20) consists of a pair of units, which are mounted on each side of the central first module. Each contains the means to wash and clean the windscreen, in the form of wipers and washing jets. These second modules also serve to support the external rear view mirrors (52).
