Motor vehicle of the type comprising a window (10) framed at least by two lateral uprights and which is equipped with a wiper system according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that each upright carries a protective element of the associated wiper (22G, 22D) which extends opposite the adjacent portion of the window (10) and which at least partially masks the wiper (22G, 22D) when the latter is in its rest position. 8.
