Abstract

Description

The subject of the present invention is a transport and presentation packaging of the 'FRUIT AND VEGETABLE TRAY' type. Made of flat or corrugated cardboard, it comes assembled in a parallel, open-top shape.

Current packaging of the 'fruit and day tray' type is essentially designed around a flat surface constituting the bottom of the packaging, serving as a support base for the packaged products, around which flaps are articulated serving as vertical faces. , delimiting the interior and exterior volume of the packaging, the junction of said faces being able, as the case may be, to be obtained by gluing or clipping of adjoining legs or coming from these faces in previously shaped recesses; by design, current packaging does not have smooth faces allowing printing continuity.

Furthermore, if the material is corrugated cardboard, part of the penetration has for its resistance to stacking its grooves in the unfavorable direction.

The packaging according to the present invention is a different design because it is formed around the faces and not the bottom, it also meets the two aforementioned drawbacks of traditional trays: 1 ") smooth faces allowing continuous printing, 2") all the grooves subjected to the stacking stresses arranged in the vertical direction, the most favorable to mechanical stresses of transport and storage.

The surfaces A1, B1, C1 and D1, respectively adjoining the faces A, B, C, D constituting the outer bottom of the packaging.

The surfaces E1 and H1, respectively adjoining the interior reinforcements E and H constituting the interior bottom of the package.

Thus constituted, the packaging set in volume is characterized by 4 faces, two opposite of which each consist of at least three thicknesses of material and a bottom consisting of at least two thicknesses of material.

Another characteristic of the packaging is to present all of its faces A, B, C, D, as well as their reinforcements E, F, G, H, with a grooving direction perpendicular to the base, therefore favorable for stacking resistance ( FIG. 7).

According to a preferred embodiment, the packaging comprises stacking pins wxw and recesses "y 'allowing the stability of the loads during the arrangement on a pallet; on the other hand, the closing of the bottoms is ensured by latching of projections in staggered rows adjoining surfaces AI and C1.

The invention is particularly intended for the transport and presentation of fruits and vegetables. The variants without flaps are particularly suitable for securing and protecting household appliances.
